Calixto growled at Benjie who was standing next to a chair where the lifeless body of Linda was slumped. He arrived at the house of the witch Sabine and found Linda with her neck twisted, lying on the cold floor.

He wanted to run after the three fugitives but the moment he laid his eyes on the witch, he changed his mind and decided to stay behind, letting his men chase Iris, Love, and Mariano.

And now, his men came back with their head hung low over their shoulders, bearing the news that the three escaped and could no longer be tracked.

"I didn't turn all of you to be this useless!"

Benjie did not reply, just lowered his head in silent apology.

"Bring her, nodding to Linda's body, "outside and let the others go back to the mansion. You stay and wait outside."

Benjie grabbed Linda's body like a ragdoll and brought her out without a word.

"You have a bunch of good soldiers."
