6. The Ecliptics games

My blood was unique, he had told me, but what was so unique with it?

I had ab positive, it's a rare blood type, but it must be more common than only me.

"I need you Cara and you are going to give what I want!" Why is he so hostile? He was very tense all the but now he almost sounded angry.

After diner, he took me to his room upstairs. I was scared, but I have to be strong to keep on living this life. First I did give up but Xandros is not a cruel vampire I had thought there is light in him, and maybe I can convince him after a time to let me go.

In his room, he puts me on the couch and comes closer, and I see his fangs already ready to bite me. He takes no time for me to think when he puts his fangs into my neck. And again, is taking this feeling of pleasure going over me. He takes me in his arms and sucked harder and I moan so hard I feel embarrassed why I feel so turned on by him.

He takes me to his bed with his fangs still in my neck and lays us next to each other on the bed. I wanted to touch his face what I did. Normally I feel dirty with him, but now it is a whole other feeling when I feel his cheeks and his strong jawline. He strikes his hand on my leg where there are no boundaries by any clothes because I am wearing a skirt today.

And I don't know what happened at that moment, but Xandros pulled himself away from me and took off out of the room. I feel so ashamed of what I just did and guilty because he had touched me. I run to my room closing my door and let me glide against the door to the ground sitting in disgust and anger, I keep on bouncing my head to the door and screaming. Not long after, I felt there was somebody in my room. I step out of the bathroom and there he stands Xandros not with his familiar smile no he looked almost ashamed.

"Cara, I want you to know this is not going to happen anymore! I promise." His words sound real and not fake, and I believed him some who.

That day I didn't see him at all, it was the next day he took me to some kind of room where he had made his own bittingroom. Where he could bite me but not tempted to go further because there was no bed, only a couch and too small to lay on. It felt weird, but it was nice of him to do this for me. He can deny it so many times, I know he did it for me.

Later that day, after Xandros had taken some blood from my neck, we heard the door and walked to the main entrance, where Firius is standing with a woman not much older than me. But she had black hair and was taller than I. She is so beautiful I can't get why she is with this awful man, but later I see her bite marks and I know she is just like me!

Firius make the worst in Xandros lose. He is angry all the time, and at diner time it was almost so tense that he looked like he would exploit.

"Brother, I want you to know my wife, Astrid. She is going to participate in the games over a couple of days, I hope you prepared yours." Only a growl comes out of Xandros mouth. He hadn't even told me about the games I had heard him speak to his pet, but I still don't know what is going to happen.

"She is going to reject." Is Xandros telling his brother. What I don't get is what he meant by I am going to reject what?

"Brother, don't be a fool! They would kill her. No human can reject the games! And you neither! You invented them! You can't back out." His brother made him clear, almost slapping on the table and when I look at him, he had his fangs already out. If he wanted to attack Xandros.

"That was another time! I was angry, I hated every human! And you can't tell me what to do!" Xandros is just done with his sentence and his brother is already laughing with him.

After diner, we go all to our own rooms, where I decide to go to bed. But middle in the night I wake up by a sound and I scream when I look into Firius his eyes with his fangs almost in my neck. The door burst open and there is standing Xandros looking at Firius who wants to bite me. That look in his eyes I never saw before, it was pure rage. He took Firius from me and threw him to the wall. The whole room is shaking by the impact.

"Is she so special you would hurt your brother! I am your master! Don't ever forget that!" He yelled at Xandros and took off screaming in the hallway to Astrid before we heard them leave by slamming the door shut.

Xandros looked at my neck and took off to his own room. I take my sheets and pull them till under my chin. Scared he left me here! Ok, I get it he doesn't want to be with a human and I don't like him either, but I am too scared to care.

That morning at breakfast I was so tired, almost sleeping with my head on the table, I didn't even see Xandros walking in of the new energy he had gained.

"What's wrong with you?" He asked, and then I took a clearer look at him, he looked like he was before again with his caramel skin color and his eyes back the brightest green/brown color.

"Didn't sleep last night, your brother scared the shit out of me!" He tried not to laugh, but he did at the words I had used.

"Ok, today I'll give you a day to rest, and I wouldn't take you to our room." And he left breakfast as fast as he had come.

Our room? He gets only what he needed, he takes it without asking! It's not my room but his. If it was my choice, I would deny it and go back to my husband!

But later I would find out he lied, he had asked his pet to take me to that room, and he had bitten me. That was the moment my respect for him was gone, what he had deserved by helping me and even letting me feel like an equal. But of course, I was just a prey, not wordy to be equal with him.
