After dinner, I grabbed my bags and made my way upstairs without saying another word. The boys were chattering none stop over dinner, well, that was after Raze's yelling at Joey for using whiteboard marker for all the drawings except for the squirting dick. That one was drawn with a permanent marker. Raze's resolution for hiding his new member was strapping a bandana across his forehead. Joey was snickering like a maniac when he saw the solution, but his laughter was soon stopped by Raze throwing a shoe to his head.
And let me say that the shoe hit his target perfectly.
After that, dinner came. I just sat with them and listened to their cheerful chattering while staring out the window.
I ran my hands through my wet hair and turned the temperature up to as high as it could. The water was burning, almost scorching my bare skin, but I couldn't care less. I deserve it.
I deserve all the pain in the world after what happened. It was all my fault.
I couldn't protect her.
