Aizen's betrayal

"That's enough," Kiyota said, his voice weak but firm. "The fight's over."

Luna shot towards Kiyota and started bowing profusely. His eyes widened as he took in the state of his leader. Kiyota was breathing heavily, his face pale and sweaty. His arm was bleeding but recovering rapidly.

"Lord Jin! I'm so sorry. I didn't mean for this to happen!"

Kiyota shook his head and waved him off.

"I'm fine. You guys went overboard. Remember, we are a team not enemies. You will have plenty of chances to go all out. Trust me, there's people out there stronger than you. Just know that you guys will have to stick together and help each other out." Kiyota said.

Kain walked over to Kiyota and Luna.

"I-Im sorry... I went overboard it's my fault. I don't know what happened. I felt my power rising..." Kain said, looking at his hands and his zanpakuto.

'Since when is this guy serious?' Kiyota thought.

"It was your Resurrección," Kiyota explained.

"Huh?" Kain looked at Kiyota in confusion.

"Luna, you can do what he did as well. Kain what you did was that you released your zanpakuto's seal. Basically you unleashed your true power and your true form. Hence, the lion's mane and tail." Kiyota said.

"I can't believe it, this idiot got it before me..." Luna looked at Kiyota, then at his own zanpakuto.

He unsheathed the purple katana from his side, holding it out.

'I'm surprised he learned it this fast too. It seems his willingness to be stronger than Luna and the excitement of battle brought it out? How cliché, but I guess it works. Maybe also paired with the intensity of the battle. If that's the case then why didn't Luna learn it aswell? I guess the battle wasn't as challenging for him as it was for Kain.' Kiyota thought to himself.

"Kain, congratulations on achieving your Resurrección." Kiyota said.

Kain smiled proudly, his eyes flashing with excitement. "Hell yeah! I can't wait to rip up some hollows!"

Luna rolled his eyes, looking annoyed.

"Jinnie! Look...!" Yuzuki's voice came from the flat rock structure as she stood up.

She was holding two small daggers with a dark red blade and a black handle. The dark red metal had a tiny carving, a red lotus.

Kiyota nodded approvingly. "Nice! What are they called?"

"They're called Flor Vanosa." Yuzuki replied, a smile on her face.

"Hmm... something flower. I wish I spoke Spanish" Kiyota mused.

"Flor Vanosa means 'Vain Flower'," Siri said.

Kiyota snapped out of his reverie and faced the three.

"It's time for your first mission, listen up..." Kiyota said.

Back in Soul Society, Aizen's lips curled into a smirk as he faced off Komamura.

"My, my. It's been quite some time since I've seen your face, Captain Komamura. What brought about this change, I wonder?"

Komamura's fur bristled with rage at Aizen's casual demeanour.

"You'll pay for your treachery, Aizen!" he snarled, his golden eyes blazing. "You and Tōsen both!"

With a roar of fury, Komamura threw his fist, and it came crashing down towards Aizen with ground-shattering force. Dust and rocks exploded outward from the impact.

As the dust began to settle, Aizen jumped backwards with Rukia emerging unscathed. Having easily evaded the attack. Komamura's attention shifted to the silent figure standing beside Aizen.

"Tōsen!" Komamura called out, his voice a mixture of anger and desperation. "Explain yourself! Why have you sided with this traitor?"

Tōsen remained silent, his unseeing eyes hidden behind his visor.

Komamura's shoulders sagged slightly. "I see. You can't even answer me." His voice grew heavy with regret. "I'm sorry it's come to this, old friend."

The wolf-like captain took a deep breath, steeling himself. "Bankai-"

But before Komamura could finish his word, Aizen suddenly appeared before him. Komamura's eyes widened in shock.

"Hadō #90," Aizen's voice was calm, almost bored. "Kurohitsugi."

A massive black box materialised around Komamura, filled with black and purple reiatsu. Spears of black reiatsu pierced through the box from all angles.

As Aizen turned away, the box dissipated, revealing Komamura's massive form. The captain was covered in grievous wounds, blood flowing to his fur. With a pained groan, Komamura collapsed to the ground.

Aizen glanced back at the fallen captain, a look of mild interest on his face.

Watching this scene unfold from his position on the ground, Ichigo Kurosaki was stunned, thinking how could there be such a difference in power between the two captain-class Shinigami.

Aizen, his voice calm and assured, spoke to the fallen Komamura. "My Kyōka Suigetsu is flawless. Even if one knows it's coming, it cannot be evaded."

Gin Ichimaru who was standing nearby Aizen couldn't hide his amazement. "So, that's unspoken Hadō 90. Pretty scary stuff? I take it you mastered that little attack when I wasn't looking?"

Aizen's lips curled into a slight smile. "No, it was a failure. what you saw was only about a third of it's true destructive potential. Number 90's difficult to control."

Aizen reached down and grasped Rukia Kuchiki by the collar around her neck as Gin released his hold on her. As Aizen, Gin, and Tōsen faced the fallen Ichigo, the classic sound of a Garganta opening echoed through the air. A lithe girl with pastel pink hair stepped out, her white hollow mask atop her head, resembling cat ears or a weird tiny antenna. She wore Shinigami robes and held a pair of short, dark red daggers. Her spiritual pressure was unrestrained, slightly higher than Tōsen's but not quite reaching Gin's level.

Gin and Tōsen quickly turned around in defensive stances. Aizen, however, leisurely turned, his face had an intrigued smile as he regarded the newcomer.

"My, my," Aizen's smooth voice carried across the battlefield. "How curious. A Shinigami emerging from a Garganta? And without a division badge. Tell me, young lady, who are you?"

Tōsen's anxiety was seen as he drew his zanpakutō, facing the emotionless, pink-haired girl. His blind eyes narrowed behind his visor, muscles tense and ready for combat.

Gin's nonstop smile slightly strained as glanced towards Aizen. "Captain Aizen," he said, "what would you have us do with our unexpected guest?"

Aizen's eyes never left the girl as he replied, his voice tinged with amusement. "Be at ease, Gin. She's no threat to us. At least, not yet. She has seen Kyōka Suigetsu."
