Different

Allison:

Allison smiled as she walked back home with Micah. She hadn't seen Daniel in a long time, and it was almost as if they hadn't separated. When she hugged him her ear still fit right where his heart was, and she could hear it beating rapidly. Even though she smelled the food on him that he had cooked that day, she could still smell the Fahrenheit cologne underneath all of that. She loved smelling it on him, it was her favorite scent, one time tried to put it on Jerome but it didn't smell right. Plus, it made her miss Daniel even more.

She had gotten Micah settled in his booster seat and had his food on a plate in front of him and was going to sit down and eat herself when she heard her phone buzz. She walked over to the counter and grabbed her phone then sat back down at the table. She said her grace then opened her phone to check the notification she'd received and seen that Daniel had sent her a text message so that she would have his number. Allison smiled, she was so happy she missed Daniel tremendously. She looked at her clock on her phone and saw that it was a little after seven. It was past Micah's bedtime, but it was the weekend so she would let it slide. But, she was going to give him a bath and put him to bed then she would call Daniel. She wanted to get back that camaraderie that they used to have. She missed him and was glad that she wasn't with Jerome anymore. She didn't care what his parents had said to her in the past, this time she was going to grab love by the hand.

Allison paused with her fork full of food and realized that maybe Daniel didn't feel for her what she felt for him. Plus, they were two different people now, She definitely knew that she wasn't the same Allison as the one in high school. What if the Daniel she remembered wasn't the same Daniel. He didn't look like the same Daniel, he was still skinny but a lot more cut and defined. His muscles made her salivate with wanting to touch them. His hair was long a little past his shoulders, and he sported a goatee. He looked like an older more mature version of Daniel from high school. The Daniel she still wanted, the Daniel she always wanted.
