Daniel

Daniel:

The next few weeks Daniel was happier than he had ever been. He was talking every day with Allison, she would even pop around to the restaurant some nights when he was working. She would bring Micah, he liked Micah a lot and wished more than once that Micah had been his. Had Daniel gone against his parents and stayed in California and gone to University there, he would have been happy. He would have been close to Allison, he would have gotten up the courage to tell her how he felt, they would have gotten married and Micah would have been his.

Daniel was determined that Micah was going to be his anyway because he was going to make Allison his wife. He just had to come up with a plan to make sure all of his dreams came true. But there was a chink in his plan because something was different about Allison. She seemed fearful, skittish even, especially when he brought up anything to do with her dating or her ex. He had to figure out what happened and how he could fix it. He wanted her to think of nothing and no one but him.

So, Daniel started to plan, first things first he had to stop working at his mom's restaurant. Not only because she was healed and could return to work, but also because he wanted Allison to know that he was a CEO and therefore worthy of her. She had told him all about her company and how she and her partners had opened two branches and now a third in New York in a years time.

What would a female CEO want with him a lowly line cook at his mother's restaurant? He wanted her eyes to light up for him the way they did when she talked about her business. Daniel loved the way her eyes lit up and a smile spread across her face when she talked about it "Women First."

He never got tired of hearing how they had secured not only numerous grants from companies all over the world but also a humanitarian grant from the United Nations. Only so he could see her smile, as long as he could see her smile he was happy the rest of the day. Her smiled made his heart smile
