Chapter 5

Aava's P.O.V

I stared at him shaking my head. "so it's true?", I asked.He shook his head. "I gave them enough money already. What else could they possible want?",I asked. "You Ava, they want you",he added.I looked at him now frightened. Why would they want me?. "What could I possible offer them? ",I asked. "You tell me, have you looked at your body lately.......and you are the richest kid in Canada. I'll see you later.",he said . "That was highly inappropriate Ryan",I said walking out. "It's the truth!",he shouted back. I closed my eyes not believing all that he just told me. "Everything ok?", I heard someone asked.I opened my eyes looking at the person. Troy?. I forgot that he wanted to speak to me. I shook my head at him. "So......what's up?. What did you want to talk to me about?.",I asked looking at him. I realized that were inches apart. This is the first time we've been so close after that night. God I missed him. I wanted to touch his face again...but I couldn't. I didn't have the courage to do that. "What can I do to make up for all the mess that I've created in your life?.Especially at school.You lost all your friends and clearly yourself too",he said looking me up and down and smiling. I laughed at him. "Let's get out of here.I think Principal Henry is listening to our conversation.", I said pulling him along with me. He laughed looking at me. After all that staring from our school mates, we managed to get outside when it was time for our third session.We were the only ones outside. We sat down in the grass smiling. "I can't believe we fought and made up on the first day. We need to get cleaned up. Would you like to come to my house, for five minutes?", I asked.He looked at me surprised. "Ava you never ditch school. What has gotten into you?", he asked smiling. "Nothing has gotten into me, believe me...that principal won't mind.",I said dialling George's number. He got there in five minutes. Soon enough we were at my house in my room. I grabbed the first aid kit out of the bathroom. "Found it", I said walking in and not noticing what was infront of me.Troy was shirtless. I swallowed hard making my way over to him. "Enjoying the view I see?", Troy asked smiling. "As if I haven't seen you shirtless before.", I said smiling at him. I sat on the bed facing his back.I closed my eyes at the sight. "I'm sorry Troy, I don't know what I was thinking",I said starting to dress the cuts that he got from the glass table I threw him on. "It's ok Aava. You deserved to be angry at me. I had my hand underneath your neck. I almost killed you.",he added breathing out heavily.There was silence in the room for a couple of minutes.I continued dressing his back carefully. Not noticing what I was doing I traced my fingers over his cuts smiling. Man I missed him. "Aava?",he asked. I didn't answer him. "I missed you Troy",I blurted out. He turned around smiling at me. I didn't look at him, but I could feel him staring at me crazily. "I'm sorry....maybe I shouldn't have said ......th..", I said looking up at him. "Shhh Aava, stop talking and enjoy the moment.", he said tracing out my lips and smiling. He brought his forehead to mine smiling. "I missed you too....alot",he said brushing against my lips. I felt shivers run through my body. I knew he felt it too, because he looked down to catch his breath. "Your hands...they're bleeding",he said grabbing the first aid kit .He took out some cotton and started wiping it with alcohol and paroxide. I smiled enjoying the moment. I reached out my hands and ran them over his face. He smiled looking up at me. We went back to school after that. Everyone pretty much thought that we were in the principal's office. We sat beside each other in Math class. We didn't care what others thought of us now. Now, that we were together again.
