Chapter 1

Aava's P.O.V

My name's Aava Hamilton and I'm currently doing my last year of high school. It pretty much sucks. School is my least favourite place in the world. I'm just a normal teenager who everyone hates. "Aava it's time to get up?", Mrs. Richards said walking in on me. I dropped myself back on the bed with the covers over my head. Did I mention that I have a nanny. Can you believe that. I tried talking my parents out of it but they keep avoiding me. My family is pretty much one of the richest families in Canada right now. And believe me , they have no time for me." Hey, get up", Mrs. Richards said again removing the covers from over my head. I opened my eyes looking at her now. "Do I have to?", I asked getting up and still looking at her. "Yes Aava, you have to. Your parents went on another business trip this morning. They'll be back next week Monday. Your brother's waiting for you downstairs. If you don't get up, he's gonna leave you again and you're gonna have to take the bus.", she said looking at me. "Fine", I said walking in the bathroom and slamming the door. I came out 15 minutes later and she was gone. Thank God. I had my towel wrapped around me. I walked over infront of the mirror looking at myself. Aava Hamilton. I grabbed something out of the closet not caring what it was. I wore really big clothes to cover up my curves and the rest of my body. I didn't want what happened to me to happen to me again. I closed my eyes remembering the night they almost did it to me .I was at my boyfriend's party and we were in his room making out when I saw the door flew open. It was five of his friends, the popular guys. I knew what they were going to do and so I started screaming. I didn't know he would stoop so low. "Hey", I heard someone say knocking me out of my thoughts. I opened my eyes and turned my attention towards the door. Jason, great. Jason's my brother. "Don't you know how to knock?", I asked grabbing my phone and school bag and bouncing pass him. "Aava!", he shouted running behind me. I didn't answer him. I ran downstairs making my way in the kitchen. " Pancakes?", Mrs. Richards asked looking at what I was wearing. "Not hungry", I said grabbing an apple out of the fridge and making my way outside. As I was about to walk through the door, Jason grabbed my arm and spinned me around to face him. "Where are you going!?,You need to eat breakfast first.", he said letting loose of my arm. I walked outside towards the lemo. "George will take me to school Jason. I don't need you!", I shouted making my way inside the lemo quickly and slamming it.
