Black Rabbit

His long slender fingers hover over my wrist where his name is imprinted... "So you're my soulmate?" My hands started to tremble because of the growing tension inside the room we're situated in and because of his fear that the soulmate would see the black rabbit hopping around the vast space. "Yeah, I guess so." I muttered under my breathe as he continued examining every part of my face. "Then why is your name not imprinted on my wrist?" He said and that made me look at him. "Maybe because...you haven't acknowledged me yet like how I acknowledge you?" I said not really sure of my answer.I just wanted to hide the black rabbit from him. My eyes look away from his, my breathing started to become unsteady when he suddenly stood up. "Okay." He said and at that moment I could feel that... ...the black rabbit escaped.
