Narrator's POV
The sun light peeked through the blinds, an unpleasant abundant of light rested on Win's face. His hair disheveled while cold sweat was unusually forming on his forehead, his fingers loosely clutching on his phone and the blanket was barely keeping him warm.
The bed seemed to be a forest destroyed by a typhoon, the pillows scattered every where, the bed sheet almost removed and a small stream of saliva was seen running through the side of Win's mouth.
As soon as he opens his eyes, the light came and blinded him temporarily, giving him a head ache. He felt numbness all over his body, probably because of the unusual and uncomfortable sleeping position he was in.
He did his daily routine and rushed to school, thinking about his date later at 5, two hours after school. A date with THE Bright, it made him feel giddy inside like a thousand feathers tickling his insides and needles puncturing him.
His train of thought was disturbed by his ears picking up another's confession to Bright.
"I love you, please be with me!!" A girl with a high pitched voice said while she bows her head down a little while facing to Bright.
Win cringes by the sickishly sweet but desperate confession of the girl. The saccharine like love of her clearly evident.
Bright spares her a glance, then looks away.
A glance.
A glance.
It took a glance for her to tear up, it took a glance for her glass heart to shatter in his hands.
He broke it without even considering that it was fragile.
Little shards of red glass scattered amongst the floor, the girl's cut off heart strings tries to piece the smithereens back together.
But they were strings, and strings can't mend glass together.
So, the strings were cut up in littler pieces, because the shards were sharp.
The broken pieces of the glass heart broke the heart strings even more.
Broken things destroy other things so they can be broken together.
A wave of tears comes surging from the girl's eyes, she just stood there, the wall as her support. Her tears making an ocean, she was broken, her tears mixing up with the other parts of her that were broken.
Her heart strings, the heart itself and her. The tears that were coming out of her were just the product of something that was broken.
And Bright never once thought of cleaning the things he broke.
Cause he doesn't know.
He doesn't know that he was the one who broke them.

Win was already familiar with the few expressions that Bright showed. His famous poker face and the seemingly forced smile he displays once in a while. The way his eyes widen when encountered with something completely unexpected.
He knows it all.
Every single thing about him.
He knows too much yet too little and that just makes him fly.
Fly out the hell that he was stuck in.
Not knowing that he'll fall again, but this time...
he'll fall twice as hard.

At the moment, Win is seated on his chair, staring at the clock in front of him. Closely examining the hands of the clock and how it moves in such a slow pace.
Tik.....tok.....tik.....tok
The sound was resonating in his ears. His focus was on the clock only and the sound that it produces, the surroundings became blurry and his eyes were fixated on the clock.
2:59
"One more minute." He thought. Counting the last remaining seconds in his head, his eyes closing in anticipation.
3:00...
The sound of the clock merged with the ringing of the school bell, Win smiled inwardly and quickly gathered his stuff and dashed out the door.

-10 minutes after 5 o'clock-
Bright was sitting on a chair, sipping his coffee quietly. He looked annoyed for he was waiting since 4:45 pm. It was a miracle that he was early and waited for that long.
He was about to stand up when the cafè door busted open, vomiting out Win who was drenched in his own sweat, his face all pink because of running.
Bright then sat down, waiting for the sweaty boy to approach him.
Win then finally approached him after taking a deep breath but then his eyes suddenly looked over to the tired boy's right wrist.
His wrist was slightly red in color, but that isn't the reason he looked at it.
But because his name was engraved on Win's wrist.
He swiftly got a hold on his hand, his eyes not believing it.
Bright's fingers were gently caressing Win's hand, and he was touching the imprint lightly, trying not to scare Win.
"So you're my soulmate?"

Win's POV
His long slender fingers hover over my wrist where his name is imprinted...
"So you're my soulmate?"
My hands started to tremble because of the growing tension inside the room we're situated in and because of his fear that the soulmate would see the black rabbit hopping around the vast space.
"Yeah, I guess so." I muttered under my breathe as he continued examining every part of my face.
"Then why is your name not imprinted on my wrist?" He said and that made me look at him.
"Maybe because...you haven't acknowledged me yet like how I acknowledge you?" I said not really sure of my answer.I just wanted to hide the black rabbit from him.
My eyes look away from his, my breathing started to become unsteady when he suddenly stood up.
"Okay." He said and at that moment I could feel that...
...the black rabbit escaped.

Narrator's POV
Win was confused as to why Bright was standing, but his confusions were answered when Bright suddenly talked again.
"Let's go to another place."
"To where? "
"My safe haven." Bright said, his voice laced with sheer excitement.
"Sure then." Win replied, in a complete daze as Bright's voice was echoing in his mind, he smiled mentally.
