the witches' forest

after the wizard king tells Cain and tests about a squad that would accept them for what they are. they then started to travel towards this village in the west. They were flying on one of Cain's giant phantom broad swords. they are moving at extreme speed through the land, and the wind on their face does nothing to help them.

<pov change tess>

after that unexpected and scary encounter with the wizard king, I start to think if he had noticed my magic necklace that hid my ears from the public. he's the wizard king he has to figure something out. although he probably does not care because one he could kill me anytime or at any hour. two he doesn't mind along as we join the magic knights. which we probably should if we are because we are running out of money and I don't like being kicked out of casinos from Cain winning against everyone. third, he finds it interesting based on our last encounter, he seems to get like that whenever there is something with magic involved. It's mostly the third and if it he should not mind that I'm an elf and ask how I survived all these years.

I tighten my hold on Cain a put my head on his shoulder to block the wind from hitting my face. I know we have flown fast before but this is suicide. I know he will slow down if I ask, but we haven't faced anything vital in a while, and his battle;e jung instincts are kicking in. Plus this gives me the excuse to hug him from behind. He has Fuchs firm muscle. And he isn't overly buff, but just right ahh. WAIT WHY AM I THINKING ABOUT THIS!!! I want to leave him hints not show that I'm a pervert. Wait no I'm not a pervert! Dammit Cain you better take responsibility for what you have done to me.

Moving on, The Black Bulls is a square of delinquents that causes a ruckus where ever they go. Captain Yami known as the'' lord of destruction'', is a foreigner just like me. he received countless remarks bout how he is nothing more than a commoner. besides that, he managed to become a captain and create a magic squad. said squad causes more harm than their worth but they have their uses when the situation arrives. I think it will be a perfect squad for me and Cain. cain with his lack of respect for basically for anybody, saying what comes directly to his mind, battle junky instincts and his damn teasing will be a perfect place for it. and for me, I go where Cain goes after all I have nothing wrong with me. I have to watch out for Cain and make sure no female attacks him. Yes, I am watching him, for his safety.

<pov Cain>

I want to get to that battle quickly. I am going the fastest that I can travel on my sword but this goddam wind is making it hard for me. even Tess buried her face in my shoulder. I won't say anything because of the mounds pressing into and her presence is conforming.

This adventure to meet the black bull's captain better is worth it. I mean there's a squad that doesn't discriminate against commoners. That sounds like a place for me. and I will be getting money.

when I saw a village that was burning? huh, that's weird. I start o slow down but I see a jacked man wearing a black cloak that was hanging over his shoulder. he had a white t-shirt and cargo pants but the weird thing was the sword he was using that looked like some of my demon swords. he seemed to be using dark magic against those witches. uh, that might be why the wizard king sent us. he does look somewhat tried and there are a lot more. might as well help him.

to which Cain jumps off the floating sword leaving a stunned Tess as she looks at the destruction and wonders if they were at the right place.

<pov yami>

damn, I came here to take a shit not fight in some war. they dint like me being near their village and started to attack me so I fought back. there was a lot more than I expected but as long as I can find a place to take a crap I don't care.

at this moment using his ki he then senses two powerful magic above him and feels falling towards him. he doesn't sense any malicious intent from them. One is of pure confusion. while the other is excited. man, why do I find the weird ones?

the kid then falls near him but shoots a crescent white attack at the group of witches behind Yami.

''hey your yami, captain of the black bus right.'' this kid said. witch but me off guard because why the hell is he asking me about my name?

''ya. what it got to do with you,'' I said looking at him. hey, then similes from hearing my confirmation. and said

'' that weird wizard king sant us saying that you would be a good captain for us and you might need some help. ahh that fucking Julius. he sent these freaks of nature to me. Looking at them they look barely 15 years old. Well, whatever ever the quicker this goes the faster I can take a dump.

" so the wizard king sent you. Ya do what you want and take these guys out quick I need to take a shit"

"Ok, you got it, boss." The kid says before rushing off into the fray.

Just as one leaves the other one comes towards me. She looks like she is questioning life from the situation that is in front of her.

" ah yami-sama, are you alright from the damage you took." Finally, a normal one that even asked about my well-being.

" ya just some cuts and bruises with exhaustion on the side," I said sarcastically to her. She seems to find it funny as she cracks a smile and gathers some magic around her. " nature's warmth" she says while sim plants surround me I feel intent on them so I let them reach me. They started to remove my wounds and fatigue.

'Ah, so that's what it is a healing spell' is what the brat said before he left Julius recommend them to me. Well, I'm fine with the girl and the brat seems like he would fit in my squad so why the hell not?

Yami then starts to stand up and goes to thank the girl but gets hit in the head by a spell that sent him into a building.

"Damn it"

<pov 3rd person>

After getting sent through a wall yami then see a girl sealed up in a cage. He then does his yami talk which gets everyone close to him out of their funk without fail

(I mean he is very good at giving speeches at the right time. Never failing to give a little motivation. Vergil would be proud.)

After he emerges from the hole in the wall he sees the two brats that he would have to watch over and called out to them that they are leaving and this place was too annoying to have a peaceful crap. The girl looks dumbstruck from that's his reading to leave and not the angry witches trying to kill him. The boy on the other hand is laughing like crazy daily that Yami is funny.

Yami grabs the girl that was captured and hops on his broom and starts to head towards his base. Cain and Tess hop on cains sword and fly after him. Not caring for the disaster that was behind them.

< 40 minutes later>

<Cain pov>

Man, that battle was fun Fighting intelligent people while being surrounded was interesting. But the more interesting thing was the base in front of me and how it is moving around. You can't see it from the outside but I can see the magic moving around in different ways. It surprised me because I have never seen this before.

Yami then hops down and looks at us and says" You too brats come in and introduce yourselves" I then got excited and looked inside to two people that were hanging around.

''hi my names finral, what might your name be lady.'' the one with brown merssy hair

'nice to meet you. I hope we can be friends" the weird clown-looking one said very quietly.

"Hi, my name is Cain," Cain says quickly trying to answer the question rapidly.

" hi my name is Tessie, but you can call me Tess. I hope we can get along from now on." Tess says with the grace of a royal.

"My name is Venessa it's n-nice to meet you," Venessa says from being out of her comfort zone of the cage.

"Well, I'm going to take a long rewarding shit. See you punks later" Yami says while the rest of the squad starts asking their new member question.
