Over the Years

Hey author here, just wanted to say something about the demon splitter sword. if no one was able to guess what it is based on the description of the sword or even the name. then don't worry about it. the first thing I wanted to address is if the demon splitter will be similar to Asta's demon slayer sword in the way it's his main go-to sword and it has a better form. the manpower of the demon splitter sword will be sealed and he will only be able to use it to its full ability in the Palidian arc. yes, I will be doing this till the Plaids arc.

also, I won't buy the picture of the blade until someone guesses what the swords are.

now that that is over, let's get back into the story.

it has been 6 years since the time that I found that dungeon and rescued Tess. I have grown my hair to where my hair is still the same just longer on the side( look at his over pic for a better example) and changed my outfit to a black shirt with a black leather jacket, and leather pants, and I have black boots.

Tess has grown into a beautiful young lady, with her long silver hair and emerald-like eyes. She was wearing long black leggings and a type of white top that had some white and black on it.

after we left the dungeon we began to sell the gold that we found and made some decent money out of that. of course, people saw two 8 years old with something like that people tried to rob us, and with our grimoires, we defeated them easily. For some reason but in this kingdom, all mages just rely on their grimoire and do not explore what their magic can truly do. heck, people don't even exercise and practice some type of close-range combat. Like, do people just attack from long range? whatever ill just use that to my advantage when I fight people.

we could not join the magic knight until we were 15 and that was coming just around the corner. it was September 20th and my birthday is October 4th.

I also found out my grimoire had more than just the demon splitter. One of the earliest swords I go was the demon healing sword. It has a beautiful sword that looked just like the demon-splitting sword but it had a maroon hilt and it was the opposite pattern on the handle it was black on the upside while white diamonds were going up the handle. the weird thing about it is that I need to stab someone with the sword and then pour my mana into it and it will help the person that is stabbed as long as there is mana to be fed. the way I got this was when I and tests found a giant earth guardian standing outside its dungeon. while Tess was distracted it swung its giant fist toward her, but I jumped in and managed to deflect it; however, I was flung away and broke my arm. I didn't want to watch Tess get hurt anymore and most stupid bodies won't move anymore. then my grimoire started to glow a bright white color. out came the demon healing sword, but the weirdest thing happened and the sword flew towards me and stabbed me. I could feel any pain but it then started to drain my magic power and helped me of all energy and fatigue.' didn't restore my magic power tho'. we then beat that stupid giant when Tess got some space and used some giant tree roots the capture it while I used a demon splitter to cut its head off.

we manage to get a huge amount of treasure from that but the main thing that I wanted was a small sword that I got its design was similar to both of my demon swords but smaller. its name is demon spear. you might be wondering why it is called if it is so small, well its ability to increase its length as long as you supply it with mana. pretty cool right?

another sword that I managed to pull up from there was the demon dagger, which in itself it is hypocritical because it is the small length of my demon splitter and healer swords. the ability that puts it apart from the others is that the blade is shattered but the matter blade can be manipulated by using man and I can make whatever I want by using them. I still feel like there is one more sword sealed inside of this grimoire but I'm not gonna worry about it because my book is here to help to sabotage me. besides I managed to make a pretty sweet fighting style using phantom blades.

How I managed to make this is, during an ambush that was on me and Tess, I created phantom swords that floated around me and then I controlled them to start attacking them at the time I could only hold about 10-12 swords floating and materialize them. now though I can maintain up to 30-40 swords and control them independently from my grimoire. that's right I practiced without my grimoire and reached that high degree of control. I still fight like I normally do with demon splitter and use Crescent an attack of mana at my enemies but with multiple swords floating around me. ( if you guys really need an example think of Dante using his devil sword and the phantom ones behind him or using it to leave after images to create an even bigger cut. I mostly go for quick and overpowering my opponent at every moment possible. also, it's cool to do over-the-top attacks. Tess doesn't like when I do that always saying that I making her have more rivals and something about keeping me to herself.

but the main thing right now that is worrying me is this strange man that is overpowering all of my senses by just being near me. we were just saving a village from a bandit invasion, which in all honesty was easy, but I wanted to show off so my ''rain of blades attack'' was like the name says the swords fall down and hit their targets like rain. Tess even made new houses with her magic so people don't have a place to say now have homes. however, these actions managed to gain the attention of this blond-haired man wearing a red robe with golden chains coming off of it. he had a birthmark on the right side of his head, but the weirdest thing was the looking in his eyes like he found the most interesting than ever in his life. I'm so screwed, aren't I?

it has been six years since I have been set free by this idiot. I truly appreciate everything that he has done for me, but can he stop acting like a child on a field day sometimes? like who in their right mind taunts a dragon saying '' get over here you overgrown lizard!'' ''I wonder if I cut off your wings and tail would they grow back like a lizard or will you just be a ground lizard? Nah I'm just ganna make you into my new coat!''.

however it's those characteristics that made me fall for him, and you might be asking '' but Tess why are you saying you love him you are too young for that'' ya but i was too young to be sealed in a crystal for 500 years while my race dies. i truly don't care what anyone might say about my feeling toward Cain. he has been with me for the longest and has never failed me from the beginning. now he has purposefully failed me to get some reaction out o me,m but I mean when it truly counts.

if only he stops showing off EVERY GOD DAMN TIME! like seriously that stone head idiot doesn't;t know how many girls I have to fight off so they don't so near him. it is unbelievable. I don't want any rivals with my future husband.

the bandits that attacked this village are truly disgusting. why would you take a human life from something over something stupid as money and riches? I know I might seem hypocritical because Cain and I have killed people but we have never been the ones who started it. we always help people in need while traveling the kingdom.

I started to grow houses from the ground to let the people who lost their homes in the fight because we were too slow. after receiving praise from the villagers I looked for Cain and found him standing next to this weird guy with absolutely no fashion sense. I looked at Cain frozen when he started sweating bullets from looking at this guy. I approached but keep my guard up if I need to attack. the reason for this I have never seen Cain acting like this. even against the biggest and badest opponents he never cared about what they are and only cared about if they could bring him a good time.

when approaching him I could not feel any mana coming from him. be must be surprising it but that could be what Cain could feel and would explain why he is acting like this. but against all my expectations. he started acting like a child asking what is magic and other things like that. I then signed while approving then thinking' Why can he not stop showing off?
