The Mission

The Lynn's mansion looked busy and lively. It has been long since things looked celebratory around the cold mansion. Foster Lynn smiled at Jake as he entered the front door.

"Son, you're doing very well in these preparations," Foster commented complimenting him. Jake looked around proud of what was done to the mansion.

"Yes dad everything will be ready soon," he responded, sighing. He had to make his grandmother's 75th birthday a blast. It was going to be a simple family party, and he silently prayed Selene made it before then. Jake knew seeing her would make his grandmother the happiest.

"And here comes the birthday girl," Jake teased as he saw his grandmother walking towards them.

"You are such a tease my boy," she laughed throwing her head back happily.

"No grandma you keep getting younger," Jake teased her again hugging her.
