Bethany looked at Duke with so much respect and admiration for caring over her mother and family so much. She did not know whether to tag herself as a fool for not discovering how reasonable he was but rather focusing on his weaknesses.

Plopping a smile on her face, she could not stop staring at Duke and the latter noticed that her eyes were glued on him. In wonder, he was dying to ask what she was thinking about as her eyes did not want to move away from his body.

" Are you okay Betty", his tone alerted her, and regaining her senses, she jerked as she felt her mother looking at her in fright. Asking her daughter not to feel bad for her, Bethany went down on her toes saying,

"I have to be worried about you as you are my mother and the most significant person that I have".

Duke had been glimpsing at them and his heart skipped with joy, but concerning what that doctor had done, that was enough reasons to put him behind bars for good.
