Bethany standing up from the chair as though it was hurting her buttocks, walked around the terrace in an attempt to understand what was happening.

" Could it be that my mom has no deadly disease and is not going to die, or is Duke just wanting to play around with is so that we could be at his mercy?", she asked herself these questions holing to find answers but realizing that there was only one possible way to clarify all those doubts, she decided to take her mother to another hospital without the knowledge of anyone else just her and her mother.

"Did doctor Travis play us for a fool?", she further asked but she had no answers.
