CHAPTER 003- ARROGANT AND COLD

At City B,

"Mom, I'm so happy for you, before you wouldn't even agree to date anyone after the divorce with Dad. If you are happy,I am too." Hua Wuyue,a seventeen year old smiles excitedly at his divorced mother, Hua Yeoune who finally agrees to move on after many unyielding pleas from her son to make herself happy.

" So who is the lucky man?" he asked raising his eyebrows teasingly.

" I won't tell you. We are moving there and he has a son about two years older than you."

" Woah, Mom so fast? you have been dating since and you didn't tell me, aiyahh!! I'm heartbroken.No wonder when I returned from school everything was packed."

" Okay, go change your clothes and meet me downstairs, we'll be early for dinner."

Hua Wuyue humphed as he changed his clothes before dumping it in a plastic bag running down the stairs in a T-shirt and jeans pulling along his coat.

In the car, after some minutes of silence he glanced at the back seat sighting groceries in a plastic bag.

"What's the grocery for?" he asked Inquisitively.

" Well, we're cooking dinner,when we get there."

" We?" Hua Wuyue stared at his mother confusingly..

" I and my fiancee"

" Oh, him." he answered rolling his eyes at the word 'fiancee'.

After some minutes drive,their car arrived at the Golden Groove mansion. Perplexed, Hua Wuyue asked his mother if they weren't at the wrong place.

Driving in, he was more than shocked as he took in the beauty of the mansion.

" Welcome darling" a manly voice brought him out of his reveries, turning his head he saw a man,who he assumed was going to be his stepfather, hugging his mother.

"Hey, you are Hua Wuyue right??"

"Yes, nice to meet you??"Hua Wuyue answered with raised brows as he stretched out his hands for a handshake.

"Haa, what a well mannered young man. I'm Jiang Feng." the man answered before directing them into the house while the maids carried their luggages away.

Mesmerized by his surroundings, Hua Wuyue followed the couple as he glanced around curiously. Soon they were in the sitting room where he saw a boy who looked around his age sitting on the sofa and he was obviously ignoring them.

"Yusheng?" Jiang Feng called but hearing no response he winked at Hua Wuyue as he pats his shoulder.

" Try to bond okay??" his mother whispered as she pats his shoulder like her fiancee did.

He just nodded, staring at the duo as they moved to the kitchen. He made himself comfortable on the sofa as he stared at his soon to be stepbrother.

' So handsome' he thought still staring at him, who was obviously not trying to give him any face. Remembering his mother's word he decided to break the silence.

" Hi, My name's Hua Wuyue. what's yours?" he said stretching his arm out for a handshake only to receive a cold distant glare from him.

' He's also arrogant and cold. Tch,who cares.' Hua Wuyue thought standing up from the sofa, taking a look around the house nonchalantly.
