Secret Meeting

At a certain place in a certain room a heated discussion was taking place. Groups of individuals were seated around a large roundabout table. Even the atmosphere around the room was insanely tensed.

Around 4 peoples were seated next to each other round the roundabout table. Three seats were left vacant while the four seats were occupied by outlandish peoples yelling at each other while arguing over something.

One of the individual seated at the right corner with an insanely well built muscular physique dressed in a heavy armour and with a bearded masculine face suddenly stood up and angrily slammed the table.

[The lord descended, you say? How could that be?]

Everybody present in the conference had a grim look on their face.

Just then a person with a silky blond hair seated opposite to him rose his hand and put them on top of the table. The person had an almond shaped eyes with blue pupils. With a very sharp nose and smooth lips, he was extremely good looking. Dressed in a knight armour he carried a saber in his waist.

His insanely charming features would confuse anybody. Every person who'd encounter him for the first time might mistook him for a prince because of his charming appearance.

Beneath his charming face and noble like appearance he hid a nasty personality of a cold blooded killer who wouldn't even blink his eyes while slashing the throat of person.

As he rested his hands on top of the table, he interlocked his palms and coldly stared at person with bearded masculine face.

[Calm down Josh. Everybody present here are just as anxious as you are but that doesn't give you the right to yell. So be seated this instance.]

The person coldly scolded Josh for acting out with a calm demeanor.

[...]

Josh couldn't utter a single word after listening to him and thus he quietly sat down.

Just then a cheerful voice echoed throughout the roundabout table.

[No need to get so worked up Josh my dear. And you too my darling Lancelot should keep it quite.]

She chuckled as she spoke.

The lady in question had insanely slender and smooth figure. An appearance that could captivate the hearts of even the gods.

Green pupils, fair skin, red hair and with an insanely beautiful face, she was referred to as Aphrodite. It may or may not be a coincident but she was named the same as the greek goddess of lust 'Aphrodite'.

Just like the greek goddess Aphrodite she radiated a lustful aura around her. With a very erotic attire wearing a outfit made up of very thin red veil just barely enough to cover her private parts, she sat in middle of the roundabout table just beside Josh.

Despite her beautiful appearance everyone present in the conference ignored her. All of them were aware of her nasty personality which she hid  behind her beautiful appearance.

After listening to Aphrodite, Josh replied with a slight hesitation.

"I'm not your dear, so could you stop your act this instance. And I'm sure that everybody present in this room is aware of your nasty personality which you hide behind that facade of yours."

Aphrodite frowned her eyebrows and dropped her smile after listening Josh.

"Tch..."

She clicked her tongue as she glared at Josh with an annoyed expression.

While Josh and Aphrodite were arguing with each other there was a fourth person who sat silently in the corner without uttering a single word.

He wore a black mask which covered half of his face and only his eyes were visible. His eyes were double-lid and his red pupils exuded an aura of a killer.

Dressed in a black assasin robe from top to the bottom his hands were wrapped in bandages. While carrying daggers in his waist the mysterious man looked like an assassin.

As the argument between Josh and Aphrodite started to get heated he finally stepped in and broke his silence.

"I'm not here to hear your yapping. And if you continue to yap like this then trust me I shall slit both of your throat with this very same dagger that I'm carrying. So quit it."

He threatened them with his husky voice. Despite nobody could see his appearance it was clear from the tone of his voice that he was really pissed off by their arguments.

His threats worked as both Josh and Aphrodite closed their mouth and stopped their argument while nervously sitting in their respective seats.

A moment of silence followed as they stopped their arguments.

Finally the long silence was broken by Lancelot as he glanced at the assassin and spoke something.

"So why are you here? And who called for this meeting? And what are we really here for?"

Lancelot questioned while glaring at the assassin.

The assassin sat silently while ignoring Lancelot's glare. He seemed unbothered by Lancelot's glare even at the slightest.

The assassin nonchalantly ignored Lancelot as he sat there unbothered by his questions.

Lancelot started to get annoyed by his carefree attitude. And as he was about to speak a fifth person entered the conference room.

The fifth person leisurely strolled around the roundabout table while staring at the vacant seats.

Upon his arrival everybody ceased there actions and sat down patiently while keeping their eyes on him.

The appearance of the fifth person startled both Josh and Aphrodite. But Lancelot and the assassin seemed unbothered by the fifth person.

After leisurely strolling for a while he finally stopped at one of the vacant seats. He placed his hands on the vacant seat and pulled the seat carefully. He then blew air from his mouth blowing the dust from the chair. Even though there was not even a speck of dust on the chair.

He then slowly lowered his body with dignity as he finally sat down.

Josh and Aphrodite continued their observation of the fifth person. And as he sat down both of them greeted the fifth person in unison.

"'Long live your majesty the XX king of the babylon"'

The fifth person was the 20th king of the kingdom of babylon. Although babylon was cursed by sun god Inti and it's remaining people were banished from it's original empire. The banished people stuck together through thick and thin thereby creating a new kingdom of babylon in a foreign land.

And this fifth person who just entered the room was the 20th king of the new empire of Babylon 'Henry Pendragon'.

Everybody referred to him as Henry XX. Henry was crafty person who valued nothing but the interest of his nation that he was ruling. If it meant to eradicate a group of indigenous people for national gain he wouldn't bat an eye to kill them.

He was an insanely patriotic person who'd do anything for the betterment of his nation.

Despite that he was only 18 years of age. He was the youngest person present in that conference room.

Due to early death of the king Charles 19th, he took the throne way before at such a young age. King Charles 19th was the father of the present king Henry XX. King Charles had two wives and 5 children. Three being from the first wife while the two from the second wife. And henry was the son of his second wife. And he wasn't even the eldest among king Charles's children.

Franklin who was the son of the first wife was the eldest son of the 19th king. Franklin was a year older than Henry and was the next in line for the throne.

The five children of the king Charles 19th included 3 sons and two daughters. Franklin, Peter and Rose were the children of the first wife of king Charles while Henry and Violet were the children of the second wife of king Charles.

Franklin was a year older than Henry while Peter was two years younger than him and Rose was of the same age as him. His sister violet was the youngest in the family being only five years of age.

Despite the untimely demise of king Charles 19th, henry took over the throne instead of Franklin.

Franklin who was the rightful owner of the throne ended up bedridden because of some kind of unknown disease which paralysed his whole body. Just few months before the demise of the king Charles, Franklin ended up bedridden.

The untimely demise of king Charles and the sudden appearance of illness in the eldest son was too sketchy to be a coincidence. Thus everybody pointed their fingers at Henry and suspected him for the misfortune.

But not even a trace of evidence was found against him and thus the people remained silent while accepting him as the next king of Babylon as he was the only candidate left for the throne.

Although after Franklin, Peter should be the one to take the throne as he was the second child of the first wife. He hesitated to step on the throne for certain unknown reasons.

And Rose being a girl was not allowed to take the throne as it was forbidden in the empire for a lady to be crowned the ruler of the empire.

After every variable Henry was the only person remaining. And thus Henry was crowned the 20th king of the Babylon due to certain unknown circumstances.
