Suffering for one could be a blessing for all.

After Felix left, Alex started looking around the cell. In the same cell, he saw another person, but due to the darkness, he couldn't identify her.

Meanwhile, upon waking up, Ema began searching and shouting, "Alex, where are you, Alex?" Not receiving an answer, she continued to search loudly. "Hey, girl, could you keep quiet?" Nana spoke. "It's all your fault. Why did you do that to Alex? Why?" Hearing Ema's question, Nana responded arrogantly, "And who are you to ask me questions? Know your place, girl. I am not obligated to answer any of your questions." Listening to that, Ema couldn't control herself and spoke angrily, "You... I knew you were a bad deal. It's my fault. Why didn't I stop Alex from meeting you?"

Riya and David, who were outside on work yesterday just coming , came in hearing Ema arguing with Nana. David asked, "What happened? Why are you shouting at Miss Nana?" "Miss Nana, my foot! This woman deserves hell. I will kill her," Ema exclaimed. Hearing that, Riya said, "That's quite the tone you've got there, Ema. That's not the way to speak to a teacher, is it? Now, tell me, why are you this angry?"

"This... this woman made Alex be taken away by the order," Ema answered. Hearing her, both Riya and David were shocked, to say the least. "Wait, what? Alex was taken away by the order? How did this happen?" David asked, not understanding why. "Yeah, why did the order take Alex with them? What happened? Tell us, Ema," Riya asked for answers. Ema then started explaining the whole situation, leaving both Riya and David dumbfounded. They couldn't understand why Nana would do that.

In an angry tone, Riya asked Nana, "Why did you do that to Alex? Do you not understand what the order will do to him?" Seeing everyone's gaze on her, Nana calmly stated, "What I did was so that the entire human race will benefit from it. That boy, Alex, you know he can copy anyone's power. If we understand how this works, and if we can also use the same power, think how fast humanity will evolve."

Hearing that, Riya couldn't control her anger and shouted at Nana, "Are you stupid or what? I know his power is unique, but why did you tell the order about it? Now, they will make him a lab rat, experimenting on him. They will make that little boy's life a living hell."

"So what! if it benefits us? Why should we care if suffering for one could be a blessing for all? Now, I believe I have answered your questions. I will take my leave; I have an upcoming meeting," Nana said, taking her leave. Hearing her, they couldn't believe what she had just said.

"I knew she was cold, and I admit I liked that about her, but this... this is just brutality. She made Alex a sacrificial goat. They will tear Alex limb from limb in search of answers, those bastards," Riya spoke.

"Now is not the time for this; we have to do something to help Alex," David said. Hearing that, all three nodded. Ema, thinking her family might help, started moving towards her home.

When the lights turned on, Alex saw a girl, or a beast-looking girl, on the side, wrapped around with chains. She had a tail and ears, resembling a fox but in human form. Her whole body was covered with bruises, and it looked like she hadn't eaten anything for days. It was Alex's first time seeing people from another race.
