He is in a coma.

Saying that, Caleb checked if Alex was breathing or not, feeling air coming out of his nose. Caleb sighed, "Dame, I thought this kid was a goner, but he is alive after going through all this." Listening to Caleb, Nana said, "We should take him to the hospital, or he might die for real." Hearing that, Lara said, "Oh, what's this? Do you have some really strong feelings for him?" But she was cut off in the middle by Nana, saying, "Don't misunderstand. If he dies, we might face a heavy loss, and he won't be happy about it."

Hearing her, the entire room fell into silence. After some time, Victoria broke the silence and asked Lara and Caleb to take Alex to the hospital. Both of them did as they were told. Caleb put Alex on his back and brought him to the hospital.

Upon entering the hospital, everyone stopped what they were doing and started looking at them. Seeing all the injuries, Lara spoke, "What are you all looking at?" Hearing her angry tone, everyone resumed their activities.

Then, a doctor came running with some of his staff. Seeing Lara, the doctor said, "Hello, Miss Lara. What brings you to our hospital?" Hearing the doctor, Lara said, "Don't you see this boy here, covered in blood? Take him and treat him." They took Alex into the emergency room and started treating him.

Seeing Alex's condition, even the doctor was shocked. "This boy, his rib cage is completely broken, his leg and hand, and every finger of his is broken. His back has multiple injuries. What the hell has happened to him, and how is this boy even surviving till now?" Then he ordered his staff, "Put this case in the topmost priority. It's from the Order, so we don't want any delay. Hurry up." Listening to that, all the staff members gasped.

One of them said, "Oh, it's from the Order. That explains why the doctor is in such a rush." Hearing him, another said, "Yeah, but what could have happened to this boy..." But was cut off by the doctor, "Enough of the chit-chat. Hurry up."

Lara and Caleb stood outside the emergency room. Out of boredom, Lara asked Caleb, "Do you think the boy will survive or not?" Hearing that, Caleb laughed and said, "What does that have to do with us? If he dies, Victoria is to be blamed. We did all we could. It was her who put him in this condition." Listening to that, Lara said, "As cheeky as ever, I see. But yeah, that's got nothing to do with us. But he won't be happy. He might even punish Victoria. It will be such a funny sight." Hearing that, both of them laughed. "But what if he kills Victoria, you know?" Caleb asked. "From what we know, I don't think he will be that angry to kill her," listening, Lara Caleb said, "Yeah, she is his first wife after all."

The doctor came out of the emergency room, seeing Lara and Caleb standing outside. He said, "I don't know how it's even possible, but the boy has survived. But due to all the injuries, blood loss, and the unbearable pain, he is in a coma right now."

 Hearing the doctor, Lara said, "What? He is in a coma." Then her tone turned angry, and she said, "Did you not operate on him properly or what? You know if I find any mistake, there will be hell to pay for you and your hospital." "Hey, don't threaten the doctor. See, he looks like he is about to pee his pants. Don't worry, doctor, we know his condition was worse to begin with, but thanks for treating him." Hearing that, life came back inside the doctor. "I did what I could have done. Now it's up to him to wake up."

Inside the room, Alex was covered in bandages from head to toe. He looked like the mummies you see in horror movies. His pulse rate is normal, and his condition is improving slowly.
