And with that, their deep conversation came to an end; both of them parted ways. Alex, in his room lying on his bed, was thinking about the shadow figure. "Who was that? Even Nana couldn't sense his presence. Were they here to harm me or Nana? No, I will protect Nana. So what if I am weak? If push comes to shove, I will protect her with my life. I even promised Bob that I would be there with his daughter."

In deep contemplation, he started thinking about Bob. "What a funny man he was – a little clumsy and a nice guy, always talking about his family." Then, he remembered a past conversation with Bob.

"What are you doing? You can't use fear like that," Bob said while training Alex. Hearing that, Alex retorted, "Shut up, you old man. Why are you always watching me whenever I am training? You always shout whenever I do wrong. I am still learning, so some mistakes are bound to happen. What's the big deal?"

Listening to Alex, Bob laughed. "You fool, I am teaching you, so I will comment on your mistakes. It's the only thing I am good for now." Hearing that, Alex became sad. "Hey, old man, why are you speaking like that? Don't worry; you are good at many things." Bob smiled and then said, "You know, Alex, your story is very similar to mine. In my case, I left my wife and daughter, and in your case, your father and mother left you. Don't you feel hate towards me?"

"Why would I feel that? I don't even hate my family. They might have some work that needs to be done, so that may be the reason they left me," Alex said. "You speak just like my daughter. When I came home, she was very happy to see me again, but I still feel like she didn't seem to forgive me, but that's to be expected."

Listening to that, Alex asked, "You have a daughter, but I didn't see her since I was working." "Yep, and she is very cute, my little princess. But she is in her rebellious phase, I guess. Ever since my wife died, she didn't talk to me much, and after a year, she left the house and joined the order. I guess I will never see her again, as my health seems to decline." Seeing Bob's sad face, Alex said, "Don't worry, old man; I will be with her and protect her." Listening to Alex's determined words, Bob said, "Sure, you are a good man. Hey, I know, why don't you marry my daughter? She will be very happy with you."

Back to the present, Nana said to a group of people in some kind of a hall, "I have found something very interesting. I think you all should take a look at him; he might become a good weapon if we use him." Hearing that, a man from the group spoke, "What's so interesting about this boy that you call us here in an emergency?" Listening to his question, Nana answered, "He can copy the power of anyone." Every one gasped, and an old-looking man spoke, "What? This is not possible." "It is possible, old man. He has even used some of my powers," Nana replied.

The whole room became shocked, and whispers filled the air. Then, a young man stood up and shouted, "Silence!" The entire room fell silent, and he looked at Nana. Sweating, Nana's face then brightened as he spoke, "You, if what you are speaking is true, then we have to take this kid into our custody. Are you okay with that?" Listening to his question, Nana said, "Sure, that's why I came here in the first place. Take him into custody." And with that, the meeting ended, and an order to catch Alex was given.

On the next morning, a group of five individuals gathered around Alex's bed and handcuffed his hands. Feeling something on his hands, his sleep broke, and upon seeing his situation, he spoke, "Who are you people, and why have you handcuffed me?" Then suddenly, Nana appeared in front of the group facing Alex. She spoke, "They are here to take you with them. Now you are in their custody. Be quiet and do as you are told, or you will face severe problems."
