A Mess In The Welcome Party

The grand hall was filled with the murmur of guests, their laughter and whispers mingling in the air. Suddenly I see a prince entering the hall room. The prince is no one else, the senior whom I offended on my first day at college. What an elegant entrance! The prince, tall and dashing, with piercing gray eyes and chiseled features, strode into the hall room with an air of confidence and authority. His deviously black hair was styled perfectly, and his blue velvet cloak was embroidered with intricate silver threads that shimmered in the candlelight.He was dressed in finery, his doublet shimmering with gold and silver threads, his hose a deep, rich blue that seemed to match the color of blue sky. A faint smile played on his lips, and his eyes sparkled with a hint of mischief. His waist was adorned with a gleaming sword, its hilt etched with intricate patterns that seemed to dance in the flickering candlelight. As he made his way through the room, the guests and all the students couldn't help but stare in awe.

"I must say, that's why Meera went crazy about him. He looks like a charming prince who cast a spell and he has all the people under his spell." I mumbled to myself. 

Suddenly a beautiful girl joined him. She is beautiful, but not as attractive as Meera. She wears a long pink gown and tidy up her hair with hair accessories and a princess crown. The senior took the girl's hand and offered her a seat. Two beautiful girls and two handsome boys also join him.They all wear prince and princess style dresses. It looks like I'm into a fairytale book. 

I also took my seat. After a while the welcome ceremony started. The programme began with a long speech of our Principal.

"Wel-come to all my students and the most respectives invited guests. Ah, the moment of joy has finally arrived! As we gather here today, I can feel the excitement and anticipation in the air. It's a pleasure to welcome our new students to our esteemed institution, and I'm honored to be a part of this special moment.

Take a look around you. The warmth of this gathering, the shared smiles, and the spark of curiosity in each of your eyes remind us of the journey we are about to embark on together. After our principal ended his speech, our welcome party began with a dance performance. Suddenly I remembered Meera hasn't come back yet.

"Oh!,Dear. Where are you? You'll miss the programme. And you'll miss your charming prince performance too." I mumbled to myself and weird for Meera.

I waited for the dance performance to end. After that I stood up and went to search for her.

When I reached the backside of The Auditorium room a screaming was floating in my ear. The screaming is Meera's. When I realized that I quickly ran towards the sound.

"Meera be safe!" I prayed for her. 

Meanwhile Meera and the senior brother reached the Library. It is far from the auditorium room. Meera feels nervous. So, she rubbed her fingers. 

"Um, Brother. Why do you call me here?" Meera asked him politely.

"Uh, how should I tell you? I'm so nervous so I may be couldn't express my feelings properly. I'm really sorry for that." He hesitantly replies to Meera.

"What are you saying? I couldn't understand. Could you clear it for me?" Meera requested him.

" Umm, Meera I love you. Will you go out with me?" He proposed to Meera

"What! How could I?" Meerra replied with shock.

"Why couldn't you? Am I not handsome? Am I a bad boy to you?" He asked Meera, disappointed.

" Noo. But I don't know you. I don't even know your name and your surroundings". Meera said no to him.

"I'm Zuark, my name is Uthain Zuark. Now you know me right? Now you could agree to my proposal?" Zuark asked hopefully.

 "I'm sorry and I'm afraid I have to decline your proposal." Meera humbly declines the senior's proposal.

"Ugh! Why? Why you…You ruined my plan." The senior shouted with anger to Meera.
