The village In The Desert

Outside the mines, everyone was guarding the convoy and some were hunting in the vast desert to try to find some food.

Suddenly, 3 people came out of the mines.

It was Elena, Hadwin, and Robert.

Hadwin and Robert were panicking but Elena seemed to be very calm.

"Bad news! Prince Euris is missing!" Hadwin announced.

Neal was shocked by the news, "What?! how did you lose the Prince! Are you kidding me!" he then scolded all three of them. Hadwin was ashamed while Robert felt like he was not doing his job, as for Elena she still thinks otherwise.

"Hurry and Make a search party! Find the Prince at all costs!" Neal commanded all of them, he then grabbed a sword to follow the search party.

"There's no need I'm sure he will be here in a moment." Elena Declared

Everyone was looking at Elena weirdly, how can she know that the prince is safe?

"Trust me." Elena Assured.

They were going to ignore the words of Elena and continue but unexpectedly she was correct.

Everyone was shocked by this because the prince really came out.

Dave looked around and saw everyone's shocked face.

And then he laughed "Don't worry there was a teleportation rune that I didn't see and it teleported me."

Everyone sighed in relief, after all, they needed the prince to rebuild the kingdom.

then Neal got close to Dave and whispered "Prince, Elena was predicting that you would go out soon, and she was right. Do you think she really is a prophet?"

Dave was shocked, so that's why everyone was surprised to see me?

But, it's weird is she really a prophet?

"System, is she really a Prophet?" Dave asked in his mind.

"How should I know?" The system replied.

not getting his answer from the system, he decided to ignore it.

There is no good in overthinking it. Anyway, she is on the same side so Dave didn't mind.

When Dave goes out it is already evening, they decide to set off tomorrow.

In the early morning, they set off while the sun was shining brightly towards them.

then they see a village in the distance.

'A village in this desert? how is this possible!' Dave thought.

But something feels odd.

Then a quest popped up

The village is under attack! Help them and become a savior in their eyes!

Objective: Village defended for 5 days

Reward: 1500 karma points.

Remark: What are you waiting for? the village would be destroyed if you are not fast enough!

I knew it! So they are being attacked, I need to hurry.

In the village.

Shak was the leader of this village, they were doing a usual routine to train and hunt food.

But suddenly a swarm of the monster came to the village, they were not prepared because it was too sudden, it just feels like there is someone planning this, but they don't have to think because the swarm has reached their village first.

"Fight back! use the cactus bomb!"

The cactus bomb was made by a cactus spike and then condensed by magic, they just need to put water on it and throw it to enemies. It has a timer of 5 seconds before it explodes.

The people threw the cactus bomb to kill the monster that is swarming in the barricade that they made in hurry.

Series of explosions occurred, it killed the one at the barricade, but it helped other monsters to climb up easily.

'Shit! Is this the end of my village?!' Shak thought.

But then suddenly a human with a giant sword slashed the monster in the barricade, saving all the villagers.

"Who are you?" Shak was astonished, he cut the monster like butter there was no effort in it when he swung it.

Dave looked at Shak then smiled "Me? I'm your savior"

now that he looks at it properly it wasn't a human village but a half-beast.

The half-beast was not accepted by a human, so they live while hiding.

But for a modern guy, he doesn't care, and look at this!

They are all a half-wolf! They look so fluffy... I want to touch them.

Wait, wake up Dave! Your image as savior would be destroyed!

"Thank you for saving the village. I'm Shak the leader of this village." Shak timidly said

he shook his head and then looked at Shak, he has wolf ears, and then a tail was coming out from his back.

So cute... NO STOP IT DAVE!

He coughed and then asked Shak "why is the village attacking the village?"

Shak seemed to want to answer but he looked down.

Shak was remembering his fear of humans.

Seeing his face, he felt bad, even though he never discriminated against half-beast, but he still felt sad because it was his race that did it.

He then patted Shak "Don't worry I won't do anything to force you." he then smiled brightly at Shak.

seeing this Shak felt assured and he relaxed a bit.

"We don't know, but it might be from the other villages that plotting against us." Shak's face darkened, they just want to live peacefully, but others don't accept it, because of their superior bloodline.

"They might come to do it again. I would say to prepare yourself."

"Damn, we don't have the manpower... there are only some that can fight right now, are we doomed?"

"Don't worry we will help you," Dave spoke to Shak.

"We?"

Then in the distance, the convoy finally caught up with Dave.

When Shak saw the convoy he was surprised.

'There is still hope?' Shak thought in his mind.
