Chapter 4: Monsters
Wang Cheng took a long breath and tried to figure what was going on. The monsters were appearing out of nowhere and were invading the world. The armies instead of engaging against the monsters, but fortified the city instead. The entire country was in total chaos and the government was barely able to control the country. If this goes on then it would be total chaos. As Wang Cheng was trying to figure out a noise came from his back. He quickly turned around and saw small and dirty creatures. They were completely green and looked very disgusting.

The goblin had tried to kill Wang Cheng from behind, but he mistakenly stepped on a branch which blew up his cover.
Wang Cheng quickly retreated and the goblin charged towards him. The goblin quickly approached Wang Cheng and a bit in his hand. Wang Cheng felt the pain, but he resisted the pain and killed the goblin with his axe.

Wang Cheng tore his shirt and used it as a bandage to stop the bleeding.

As Wang Cheng walked on he noticed another monster was coming towards his direction. Wang Cheng quickly hid in a bush. The monster who was approaching him was like a wolf. It had sharp fangs and teeth. Its eyes also looked very fierce. Its mouth was also covered in blood.

The kobold was about to leave, but he sniffed something and Wang Cheng knew he had to something.
The kobold noticed a noise coming from the bush and slowly walked towards it. Wang Cheng gulped as he saw Kobold walking towards the bush.
The Kobold smells a strong scent of blood coming from the bush. The Kobold bared its teeth and quickly pounced towards the bush. There was nothing in the bush but a piece of a cloth-covered in blood. The kobold picked up the cloth and smelled it. The Kobold quickly turned around but it was too late. Wang Cheng immediately attacked with his axe targeting its neck. He had used the opportunity when the Kobold was distracted by the scent of the blood.

Wang Cheng was barely able to kill the kobold when it was distracted. He had now levelled up to level 2, and he felt himself getting stronger.

Wang Cheng didn't know what the monster core did, so he just kept it in his inventory. Currently, Wang Cheng was at Nanjing and Shanghai was very far so Wang Cheng had to search for a car.
While searching for a car he killed some level 0 monsters and finally after some time he finally found a taxi and when he looked inside the car he saw a dead body. The dead man was probably the driver. Wang Cheng prayed and placed the dead body on the ground. The key was still there and when Wang Cheng tried to drive it finally worked.
As Wang Cheng was driving down the road he realized the road was also full of zombies. As they were monster Wang Cheng didn't hesitate to crush them under the car.
"I guess killing a monster with the help of car doesn't give you exp"
He was currently on the way to Shanghai, and he noticed a huge group of zombies ahead of him.
Wang Cheng speeds up the car and just as he was about to crush the zombies the car ran out of fuel.
Wang Cheng knew he was in big trouble and immediately grabbed his axe and got out of the car.
He quickly got out of the car and the zombies started to attack him.
Wang Cheng quickly dodged and slashed one of the zombie's head and killed it. Other zombies became more aggressive and started to attack Wang Cheng. Wang Cheng quickly ran away and climbed a nearby tree. The zombies didn't know how to climb the tree, so they just looked at Wang Cheng and tried to climb the tree.
Wang Cheng watched as the zombies tried to climb the tree and rest for a while.
After he was no longer tired he jumped from the tree and crashed on one of the zombies. He cut off one of their head and one by one killed everyone.
After killing every zombie he drank water and checked his stats.

Wang Cheng was now easily able to kill level 0 monsters, but he needed quite a bit of time to kill a level 1 monster. Even so, he had grown very strong but others might have already grown stronger than him, so he had to kill more monsters along the way.
As Wang Cheng was searching for another car he finally found a car, but he also found wolves roaming coming in his direction.
Wang Cheng quickly opened the door and hid inside the car. Praying the wolves won't find he was hiding inside the car.
As Wang Cheng continued hiding he felt every minute was like an hour.
After twenty minutes, he really tried to see whether the wolves had left or not.
When he saw the wolves had already gone, he was relieved but suddenly the noise of someone walking came from up.
Wang Cheng panicked and immediately started the car. He drove the car in full speed thinking it was one of the wolves, and he was correct. Wang Cheng driving so suddenly had caught the wolf off guard and it couldn't keep its balance so it fell from the car. Other wolves were alarmed due to the sound and immediately started run towards the sound. A pack of wolves hungry for food started to chase after Wang Cheng.
These Wolves were no ordinary wolves they were far stronger and faster than the normal wolves, but they still weren't as fast as the car.
As Wang Cheng was driving for his life suddenly a wolf appeared from out of nowhere. The wolf was even bigger than the car Wang Cheng was driving. It was in fact even faster than car so it caught up to Wang Cheng.
When the eyes of the wolf and Wang Cheng met. Wang Cheng was terrified and sweated a bit.
