Chapter 2: Chaos begins
When Ling Chen was just a five years boy his father died in a car accident and his mother had to take over his place as the CEO. His mother was strong-willed women who didn't give up even when the company was on a brink of bankruptcy. His mother worked day and night to avoid the company from being bankrupt and when everyone had abandoned hope she didn't and her efforts paid off. She was able to lead the company her husband had left, but she had ignored her son in doing so. As a boy when mother's love was needed the most when his father died his mother ignored him to focus on business. Eventually, Ling Chen and his mother relationship started to collapse. As such he became a loner with no friends, who was sometimes bullied, he always remained all alone and had complicated issues and Wang Cheng was the only person who took initiatives to become his friend. It may be because Wang Cheng was also abandoned by his own father but Ling Chen treated him better than others. Slowly their friendship grew and Wang Cheng and Ling Chen became best friends. One day Ling Chen came to visit his house to play with him and when Wang Cheng's mother realized what Ling Chen was going through, so, she started to treat Ling Chen as his own son. One time His mother was nearly even beaten up because she tried to protect Ling Chen from some gangsters. In the end, Ling Chen received love from a mother who wasn't even blood-related.
As Wang Cheng was trying to hold his emotion he realized tears were flowing from Ling Chen's eyes. Wang Cheng wiped his tears and Ling Chen cried even more. Wang Cheng had expected this to happen as such he didn't tell his mother's death to Ling Chen but now he has come himself he would have discovered sooner or later.
After Ling Chen stopped crying Wang Cheng said to Ling Chen "Do you know when my mother said to prepare at the end of 2020"
