Chapter 253 The Son of Fire Part 33

From below Abrafo and Lixin, had no idea what was happening above. They continue to fight Anu and Anu's right-hand man; their focus is to defeat the master and apprentice as quickly as possible and return to their team still on the ground.

Even though they dislike each other, their teamwork doesn't suffer because of their differences. They knew they got the upper hand, and even if Anu was a strong fighter, but he lacked the skills to fight one on one.

Just when Abrafo and Lixin pushed Anu and his right-hand man to the edge of the half-destroyed arena, Abrafo suddenly stopped advancing. He heard U-ri shouting from above. After a moment, he heard Bong's grunts. 

"Something is wrong?" Abrafo said with a pale face. "Something happened to Bong."

Lixin rolled his eyes at Abrafo and said, "You shouldn't have come down in the first place, but now that you're here, you can't lose your focus."

Abrafo sighed and said, "You're right. I shouldn't have lost focus while we were..." Even as the crowd went wild, Abrafo, who was standing below the arena platform, could clearly hear the sounds coming from above. He heard the sound of a body being dragged, and he knew in his heart that the person must be Bong. At this point he knew that if he wanted to return safely back to Bong, he had to get rid of Anu and Anu's right-hand man as soon as possible.

Abrafo slid his finger in the edge of his blade and placed his finger on the sword. The sword suddenly turned red. Abrafo rushed forward and unleashed a line of fire, heading straight for Anu and Anu's right-hand man. Abrafo quickly jumped from the broken arena and rushed to the top of the arena.

Because Anu and his right-hand man was already at the edge of the broken arena, with Abrafo's suddenly fire attack, Anu's right-hand man jumped in front of Anu and pushed Anu back further towards the edge, which caused Anu to fell over the broken platform, but Anu's hands caught the edge, preventing him from falling into a cubicle below.

Lixin swung his sword at Anu's right-hand man who was severely burned by Abrafo's fire attack. Lixin cut Anu's right-hand man in half with one strike, killing him instantly. Lixin stood on the edge of the platform, looking down at Anu, and pointed his sword at Anu's forehead.

Now that Anu had seen the strength of the northerners, he admitted defeat, so in order to prevent himself from being further hurt, Anu let go and landed on one of the cubicles on his feet.

Everyone in the arena was stunned when Chia who was already fall off the fighting arena had return to the fight. Although everyone was confused, they still shouted excitedly when they saw blood spill again.

Bong looked up and saw Chia smiling at him. Bong muttered, "You... how?" He coughed and he spat out a mouthful of dark blood. 

U-ri shouted, "Cheater! How dare you used poison? You are already disqualified."

Chia smiled and threw a piece of wood at U-ri which bounce from the invisible wall and slide to the ground in front of U-ri. "I was kicked off the stage but landed on a piece of the original wood of the fighting arena, so technically I am still in the game. Thank to your friend who broken the chessboard. Now there is no more line," he said, pulling on the rope trying to get Bong closer to him. He smiled at Bong. "You are a fighter, most of the people who was poison by me, had already passed out by now." He turned to his left and saw that the other people were rushing towards him. "Stop where you are, or I will kill him faster."

Yul, Michio and Fufu stopped a few feet away from Chia.

"Come any closer and I will kill him!" Chia shouted. By this time, Chia knew that he was the last man standing, but he plans to take as many lives with him as he can. "Move and I will kill him." He quickly grabbed a bamboo blowpipe from his belt and place it on his lips.

Sitting on the bench, Jin and the others was already on their feet ready to jump in and fight Chia. They could no longer hold back, as they watch their prince dying on the fighting arena, but they knew as soon as they jumped in, the fight will be over.

Ping said worriedly, "What are we going to do?"

Xiang said, "Say something, if something happens to Lord Bong, we are done."

Shi said, "But as soon as we interfere, the fight will be over and there will be no winner. All of the hard works that everyone had put in will be in vain."

Jin said, "In vain or not, all I know is that I cannot let the prince of the great Misnix kingdom to die in foreign land." He turned to looked at the other eight. "Get ready to attack."

Shi said, "Captain, please reconsider."

Jin said, "You know what will happen to us and even Lord Lixin, if our mission failed."

Shi sighed and said, "Yes..."

Jin looked at the fighting arena and saw that Bong had vomited blood. "Our mission is about to fail as we speak," he said grabbing onto the hilt of his sword.

Shi know that at this point there is nothing he could do, although entering Eternal Library is important, but their mission was to locate, protect and take Bong back to the palace safely.

Shi sighed and said, "Alright..."

As Jin and the others began making their way towards the fighting arena, they saw Abrafo flying at Chia's back with his flaming swords from the edge of the arena. 

Abrafo's sword cut deeply into Chia's back, causing Chia to drop to the ground. Abrafo quickly cut the rope and used his shoulder to pushed Chia away from him. 

Yul grabbed Fufu's shield and sent Fufu's shield fly at Chia and struck Chia's on the side of the head, causing Chia to die on the spot. Yul, Michio, and Fufu watch as Chia's body slams to the ground and dies.

Abrafo threw his sword to the ground and quickly rushed towards Bong. He walked right behind Bong and supported Bong to sit up.

U-ri shouted, "Abrafo! Don't touch his wound." He quickly walked out from the protection of the bracelet. He dropped his medicine bag beside his side and quickly searched in his bag. He took out a black bottle, pulled out the stopper and looked at Bong. "Oh, Your Highness... Listen...we have done this before. So, open your mouth."

Bong opened his mouth and U-ri quickly poured a tiny bit of dark liquid into Bong's mouth.

Abrafo asked worriedly, "U-ri! What did you give him?"

U-ri said, "Dead man's blood." He took out a small box, opened, grabbed a single green leaf and put the leaf inside Bong's mouth.

Ru walked onto the half standing arena and said, "You are our winners, so you can follow me to the guest rooms, or go home to get your person belongings, but if you choose to leave, you must return before dinner. When the door close and you have not return, it meant you forfeit your entrance." 

U-ri looked at Abrafo and said, "Whatever you need tell Michio to go get it. We need to take Bong to a clean bed right away."

Michio said, "Don't worry. I will get all of your belongings." He looked at Bong and felt deeply bad.

Yul said, "What do you need, U-ri?"

U-ri said, "I have everything other than my clothes."

Michio said, "Don't worry I will bring your clothes for you."

Yul said, "Fufu, you go help Michio."

Abrafo picked Bong up and he followed Ru to the guest house with Yul and U-ri.

After the four Tanzanies, Lixin, Bong, and Fufu entered Eternal Library, they have different sections that they want to enter. For example, Abrafo, Bong, Lixin and Fufu entered the weapons and skills section. Michio entered the spellcaster section. U-ri entered the historical section, and Yul would spend three days to practice with Abrafo and the others, one day to learn spells with Michio, and the rest of the days with U-ri. This has been his routine for the past three months, but he found that recently knowing that they are going to leave soon, he had been spending more days with Abrafo and the others. So tonight, is their last night inside Eternal Library, Yul decided that he would spend his last night accompanying U-ri until the morning. 

Sitting inside the large room filled with books, Yul and U-ri were sitting at the table when Michio walked inside the room. He walked straight to Yul and U-ri and said, "Are you two going to bed?" He looked at Yul. "I can understand why U-ri would want to spend the last night inside here, but I don't get why you would want to stay up all night as well."

Yul said, "This is my last book, and I am almost finished reading it, so I want to finish it before leaving. I'm afraid that I might not get this chance again."

Michio asked, "Are you two planning to stay up all night?"

Yul and U-ri smiled at Michio and U-ri said, "You go on Michio."

Michio knew he will not be able to convince Yul and U-ri to go sleep, so he put down the book he grabbed from the table and said, "Well, since I can't convince you two to go to bed, then I am leaving."

U-ri waited until Michio was gone and he turned to looked at Yul. "We have learned everything we can, a few hours of resting will not make any difference," U-ri said. 

Yul said, "Although we have learned everything we can, but for the past three months we have not learned how to kill Huoyang and there is nothing in this library that will tell us where Kinigan Island is locate."

U-ri smiled and said, "Well, at least we know that the Zohag Phoenix is on our side. Also, you, Abrafo, and Michio had learn so many new skills. I think our decision to lock ourselves here for this past three months is worth it." He stretched out his hand and grabbed the book Yul was reading. He closed the book and put it down on the table. "I know you just want to accompany me, and you are not interest of this book." He looked at the title of the book and chuckled. "How to make a bonfire." He laughed. "Let's go to bed."

The next morning, Ru and three librarians walked the seven people to the door and when the door to Eternal Library was opened, Lixin's nine subordinates and Nayao were waiting for them. After thanking Ru for his kind hospitality they walked out of the door to greet their friends.

Nayao who had not seen Yul for the three months, realized that Yul had grown a beard. Although he looks more mature with his beard, but in Nayao's eyes, Yul still look as good as the last time she saw him. She saw Yul walking towards her, and she smiled brightly at Yul. 

Yul looked at the busy street and past the shoulders of their friends, when the back of the person holding the rope to a white goat caught his attention. His heart was jumping with joy when he saw the hair of the goat's owner swaying with the wind, and he ran towards the goat owner. Yul quickly made his way through the people on the street and wrapped his arms around the person's waist.

"Yul...?"

"Hajime..." Yul murmured holding Hajime inside his arms. "Hajime..."
