Rollercoaster Proposal

Janus' POV:

Surprisingly, the car ride to the amusement park, which took only an hour, was practically silent. A few comments here or there but rarely anyone spoke. Remus was making hand questers to Patton but I thought nothing of it and stared out the window until we got there.

"OOO! OOO! The rollercoster first Jan! Pleeeeeeeeeeeeease?" Remus begged as we got out of the car.

"Sure, I totally want to get flung around like a plastic bag in a storm," I sarcastically said. Together we all walked into the massive amusement park.

Patton saw the teacup rides and happily bounced over to them, Logan following him.

Together me and Remus went on a few calmer rides and paid for a few fun games that were offered to us. Remus kept nagging me to go on the rollercoster and for a while I denied.

"Please? Just this once, I won't ask again," Remus pouted and I sighed. "Fine! But if I hear another word about a roller coaster, you can drive yourself home," I threatened, fed up with his constant whining.

"I promise," he nodded quickly, a smile spread across his face. "Now lets go!"

Ree grabbed my hand and ran over excitedly to the massive ride, pulling me with him. We stood in the relatively small line and I looked up at the massive and fast amusement ride.. Swallowing the lump in my throat, I did my best to hide my concern which apparently wasn't very good since Remus noticed I wasn't happy which should've already been obvious.

"Hey you're going to be fine, I swear. Nothing is going to hurt my Janny," Remus hugged me, his words making me chuckle and calm slightly. "I'll never ask you to go on one again, it'll be just this ONE time,"

We waited for around half an hour for the ride and then got on with a few other people, sitting towards the back of the ride. The workers talked to us quickly about safety which made me tense up again.

Moments later the ride began. I held on tightly to my boyfriends hand and the coaster moved slowly up the first hill. Preparing for the sudden massive gain in speed I looked over to Remus who looked nervous as well, which surprised me.

"You alri-GHT!! AHHHH!!" I cut myself off with a scream of fright as the rollercoaster hurried down the hill taking many sharp turns before slowing down at another hill.

After the adrenaline inducing ride we FINALLY were allowed to get off.

"Never again Remus, never," I panted and held onto his shoulder to stay standing properly, lightheaded from the whole thing.

"Hey we got our picture taken,"

"What? No way," I denied. "Uh yeah way,"

Remus showed me a rectangular picture of everyone on the ride including him who was holding a sign? Curiously I read the paper sign with childish writing on it, saying what it read out loud..

"Will you marry me..?" My eyes widened as I looked to Remus who was now on one knee holding a beautiful golden ring to me. "You're being serious? This isn't a prank.." I covered my mouth in shock.

"Yeah I'm serious, I wanna marry you Janny," Remus smiled nervously, I saw the sweat run across his forehead. Over come with joy I teared up.

"Of course I will!" Remus stood up and the moment he did, I engulfed my now fiancé in a tight hug. People around us cheered and we both blushed from embarrassment but I knew he was happy, and so was I.
