Chapter 168 "Students Union"

After everyone had introduced themselves, Hermione inquired, "I heard you calling Wentworth just now before entering the door. Who is that? Your friend?"

Before Harry could respond, Draco chimed in, "Wentworth is a second-year senior at Hogwarts, Dumbledore's proud student. In the last year's Quidditch World Cup, Dumbledore personally took him to the final. In the exhibition game before the final, Wentworth caught more than a dozen Golden Snitches in a row!"

As Draco spoke, he proudly displayed a golden snitch he retrieved from his pocket, boasting, "Look, this is the same Golden Snitch Wentworth gave me last year, identical to the ones used in the Quidditch World Cup!"

"Wow, impressive!" Ron exclaimed in awe upon seeing the Golden Snitch in Draco's hand, further gratifying Draco.

Meanwhile, Harry added, "Not only that, Hagrid mentioned that in last year's final exams, Wentworth achieved the highest grades in all subjects except for Magic. Wentworth earned an E and an O rating, truly deserving the title of an outstanding Hogwarts student."

"Wow, amazing!" Hermione exclaimed as she went in awe over Wentworth's achievements.

Simultaneously, in another train compartment, "Wow, seriously, what happened to you, Cassandra!" Wentworth couldn't help but exclaim, turning to Cassandra, "Cassandra, I haven't seen you in a few months, yet you've changed drastically!"

In fact, Wentworth wasn't exaggerating.

Last semester, Cassandra was troubled by her Father's situation, and the anxiety had taken a toll on her appearance.

Now that all the issues have been resolved, Cassandra has returned to her former radiance, making her even more captivating than the previous semester.

Upon hearing Wentworth's compliment, Cassandra graciously accepted it and replied, "Thank you for your kind words, Lord Grindelwald, my future leader!"

Wentworth couldn't help but smile wryly at Cassandra's response. "Cassandra, I've told you before, don't call me that! And I've explained it; I have no intention of involving you with the Alliance. Dumbledore would never permit the expansion of Alliance's influence at Hogwarts."

Hearing Wentworth's words, Cassandra thoughtfully remarked, "So, it's not that you don't want to develop the Alliance at Hogwarts, but you're concerned that Dumbledore won't allow it?"

Cassandra's eyes suddenly lit up as she continued excitedly, "In that case, we just need to find a way to remove Dumbledore from the position of Headmaster at Hogwarts, right?"

Wentworth could only stare at her with a dumbfounded expression. Who would've thought that the arrogant Cassandra would act this way around Wentworth...

Meanwhile, Cedric and Green simultaneously covered their faces with their hands, exchanging glances through the gaps between their fingers.

Green started off by saying, "Is this something we should be hearing about?"

After that, Cedric replied while shrugging his shoulder and bashing it against Green's, "Then, hurry up and find a way to stop that crazy woman!"

"But we've joined the Alliance! We have no way out! Thinking about it, if Hogwarts becomes an Alliance training base, it might add a bit of excitement!" Green stated with a smirk.

Cedric almost slapped Green, who was joking around, trying to lighten the mood around, "Don't you dare encourage her! Stop adding more fuel to the fire, and start helping Wentworth instead!"

In the midst of this, Cassandra furrowed her brow once more, contemplating aloud, "However, pulling Dumbledore from the position of Headmaster is too challenging. Only the school board of directors can remove Dumbledore from his role."

"Maybe we can get our Alliance predecessors to influence the families of the school directors and pressure them to dismiss Dumbledore?" She suggested with a carefree expression, worrying about nothing in the world.

Wentworth stared at Cassandra in disbelief and retorted, "Cassandra, are you sure your Father used to be the Head of the Auror Office at the British Ministry of Magic? Are all the British Aurors have the same thought process? You sure your Father is not the previous Dark Lord?"

Hearing what Wentworth just said, most people should've been mad or even hit him in the mouth, but Cassandra is a special case. She blushed instead when Wentworth finished speaking, "Ah, thank you, Lord Grindelwald!" She said while trying to regain her composure.

"You know what? I don't care anymore... Whatever you wish, Cassandra." Wentworth replied while shaking his head helplessly.

Sensing the need to halt this conversation, Green, on the other side, finally stood up and intervened, "I'm sorry to interrupt, but I think it's time to prepare for our arrival; we're almost at the Hogsmeade station!"

With that, Green prepared to leave, prompting Cedric, who was next to him, to inquire hastily, "Green, where are you headed?"

Green responded with a grin, "As Hufflepuff's prefect, I'm here to remind everyone to get ready to disembark! I have to make a good impression this year, considering I'll be eligible to run for Hogwarts Student Council President next year!"

Understanding the responsibility, Cedric nodded knowingly, while Wentworth expressed surprise, "We still have a student union at Hogwarts?"

It's understandable why Wentworth is curious; both in the original books and during Wentworth's one-year study at Hogwarts, the Student Union's presence is so minimal that even Trevors overlooked its existence.

Hearing Wentworth's surprise, Cedric clarified, "The Hogwarts Student Council is chaired by students appointed by the Headmaster during their seventh year. They usually assist Professors and handle matters between students. However, since seventh-year students are typically occupied with graduation, they seldom exercise the student union's rights unless instructed by a professor or the headmaster."

Hearing Cedric's explanation, Wentworth nodded in understanding.

He then noticed Cassandra seemed about to speak, so Wentworth swiftly changed the subject, saying, "So, I've long believed that Hogwarts needs a change! Just like this student union, there's no excitement at all! The school should find a way to boost the student union's enthusiasm."

Cedric, puzzled, inquired, "Boost the student union's enthusiasm? How do you propose to do that?"

Wentworth leaned in mysteriously, saying, "It's quite simple—introduce competition to the student union! Have you heard of Cassell College in the United States?"

Cedric and Cassandra exchanged glances and shook their heads.

Wentworth suppressed a smile in his heart~ and spoke earnestly:

"In Cassell College, alongside the student union, there's the Lionheart Society, an equally long-standing institution! Most elite students in the school join either of these two organizations."

"The Lionheart Society members are also school elites, and at times, their influence even surpasses that of the Student Union!"

"This constant competition between the two organizations compels students to excel, or they risk being mocked by the other side. Consequently, the school produces more elite students!"

As Wentworth shared this, Cedric nodded reflectively.

*Snapped!*

On the other side, Cassandra closed her book and enthusiastically declared, "I believe I know where this is heading. I must say, Wentworth, the blood of Grindelwald truly flows in you! What a brilliant idea you've thought of!"

Wentworth didn't get the chance to explain further and could only stare at Cassandra with a confused expression, stunned by how Cassandra has been acting all this day...
