Chapter 15

This was surprising, Hera had a child alone. Hera used her divine power and used my power too, from the weapon I gave her, she used the combination of the 2 to make her self a fetus which she then gave birth to. This child is supposed to Hephaestus, the god of blacksmithing but due to using my energy instead of Zeus. He became the not only the god of blacksmith, volcano but also the god of weapons, construction, planning and science. 

Sadly, Hephaestus was still, less than pleasing to the eye, so Hera throw him off the mount Olympus. He was supposed to get hurt and turn even uglier but not on my watch, not just because he is bro but also because he is my son and I will be dammed by my right if I let him get hurt. When she throw Hephaestus out of the mountain instead of rolling down the mountain, he fell and slowed down after he passed clouds and as gently as I can I picked him up from mid air. 

I created a new ability to heal him, Life manipulation to manipulate his body to make him the most handsome being to have exited. He had gold hair, and gold eyes like me, I made sure that he will not grow up immediately and would take his time over a decade. "Sweet Hephaestus, look how cute you look." I said as I teleported back to my places. 

10 years later....

Hephaestus has grown up to a splendid person, I have made sure that he gets all the knowledge and morality of the modern age. He is now a god comparable to me and I made sure that in the last year many of the philosopher, writers, artists and many other sciences would respect Hephaestus as a god and build temples in his honor. The other gods did not notice it yet but Metis did and I talked to her about keeping this a secret. 

Zeus also got a new wife Europa and when she was about to die he asked came to to ask if there is any way to make her a god. At first, I wanted to refuse but looking at him and the Europa, I asked Zeus to leave which he did and I asked Europa "You know how Zeus is right, if you were to become immortal, you would have to suffer from his constant cheating. Why would you even love him at first?" 

"Yes, I know this very well as he cheated on me in the past hundred years but, I still love him I don't know why but I just love him." I used my eyes to check if she is lying or been mind manipulated in some way but ended up finding out that she liked to be cheated on, weird fetish before I decided to make her immortal using my life manipulation. I gave her the Europe the continent and told my son this so he can spread the word amongst all his believers. I also made the constellation tarsus in the honor of this weirdos successful marriage. 

This move was not unnoticed as now almost all gods knew that there was another god and after an year, Hades called a meeting to discuss this matter with me. "Brother, the other gods are invading our territory" I came in and immediately went to the point.

"No, they are not" I said and continued "I know the new god he is my son" 

There was not a single noise made, everyone had their eyes out of their Socrates. "w-what?" Hestia stammered out.

"Yes, Hera used her magic and divine energy with my divine energy from the weapon to have a child. BUT, when she gave birth the son was disfigured thus she came to the irresponsible decision to throw him off mount Olympus." After saying this all of them looked at Hera with sharp eyes even Zeus as even though he maybe though on the boys but he would never throw a child off a mountain for just being born. I continued "I rescued him and raised him in my castle" I said this as Hephaestus came out of the shadows and introduced himself

"I am Hephaestus, the god of sciences, son of the great god." All the Olympians looked at him and especially Aphrodite as she had lust in her eyes. The fates also had lust in their eyes and the rest were indifferent to his handsomeness but, curious for all but, Hera as shame took her eyes. 

"Since, that is cleared I grant Hephaestus a seat among us. Hephaestus you shall be the king of all sciences and new beginning. Metis make sure that all of the artists, philosopher, strategist and anyone that wants redemptions to know Hephaestus" I said and dismissed the meeting and as I saw Hephaestus leave his home for the past 10 years and enter the gods, I wonder who he will chose the fates or Aphrodite. If he were to get with Aphrodite, I would disown him as he has clearly not taken my words to heart but fates I will allow them.

With that said it is time to wait, while we do that we can talk about the humans a little. We are going through an era change from the age of god to the age of hero's. Human society is much more clean as with the addition of Hephaestus who has taken a huge role at many productions. Many of which were from modern time, this not only included giant Greek infrastructure, water system, public safety and finally a democracy. This was some and not all of the technology he introduced to his devotes and I am especially happy with these as now the technology is 50 years ahead of it's time. 

Another event that happened is that human found Atlantis, it was just like the Atlantis of the DC verse. With them praying to Poesidon for basically everything. As for my devotees, they are doing fine I would appear time to time and fix there behavior if they went done the wrong path. There were 7 of these that really struck a cord with me and I made them immortal warriors of my name. That's about it, as all my devotees don't live in city's or even kingdom but in forest, mountains and other places and mostly meditates like me. Thus, they gain superpowers from time to time. 

{Daphne}

I heard a call for help, as my divine sight behold apollo praying to me and with every second passing by his devotion never wavered. Normally, I would have ignored apollo as one of the rap**t gods but, due to my rules and system I will have to answer it. But, not without testing his devotion, It is not a special treatment to apollo as all the people who had gained superpower or granted my presence were tested and those who failed were personally struck by Zeus's lighting bolt, hades would then put him through each of my brother and sister.

That was a mystery as after the incident with Europa he became one my devotee as he would demand that my idol be present wherever his is. This prompted all my brother and sisters to do the same as now there was not a single temple that is only dedicated to my brother/sister but all of them were dedicated to everyone as whole. 

The test was simple one, there would be every and any obstacle in his path for 10 years. The coldest winter, the most harsh weather, mystical powers, ect. If he were to get distracted even a little than that would mean that he is not worthy and even if he is god he would die. Knowing this no god unless absolutely necessary would take this challenge, I mean there are few since the price is anything you want. You could wish for immortality, power to match gods, and even become one yourself. 

I let him be and watched him, as his devotion only increased with time and more and more. Not only are my brother and sisters trying to test him, eros the cause of all this was firing arrow over arrow as he had sent him fall in love with over a thousand beauties from all over the world and he had yet to lose even a single concentration as it increased more and more. As I decided this was enough, I appeared in front of him and said

"What is it that you want child?" 

He opened his eyes first time in decades and said "My lord, the great god please reunite me with my love and make her realize my true love for her." 

"That will do" I said as I used life manipulation on the tree to bring her back and then used destruction to erase the arrow and used creation to make her realize what apollo had done for her. I then called Hera and they got married, I also recreated the tree and made it so that it would stay ever green and also that it is the representation of true love in their honor.
