VOLUME* After a cataclysmic event called The Great Calamity, strange rifts began opening all around the world, giving entrance to places we never saw before, full of monstrous beings. We call them Nests. The world, then, gave birth to people with special abilities. Powers that allowed them to fight the beasts inside the Nests. Those who chose to raid the Nests and fight for mankind were called Wielders, and little by little, society came to get used to the perspective that magic had become an innate part of their lives. Kurt Blake is a regular. An unawakened human being. After an act of treason, he dies, but is granted a system upon death, that makes him regress in time to his sixteens, in order for him to rewrite his own history, and take revenge upon his family. But is it the only secret the system holds from Kurt? Are the Nests simply rifts to another dimensions full of monsters? First of all, I want to apologize to y'all.

I screwed up and locked the chapters top early in the story, so if your enjoying the first chapters, don't hesitate to use your fast passes until you see fit.

Until I can do something to repay your coins spent on the early chapters, that's the only solution I can give you.

WORLD SETTING:

That's an issue that has been bugging you guys, so here goes a few explanations.

The story happens in a futuristic version of our world, and the first arc happens in a version of the USA.

I suck pretty bad at geography, so I'm not really good with locations.

However, the world building will become clearer from the second arc onwards, since the first arc isn't a story told by the MC directly to the reader (you'll get it further on the story, it's for plot reasons).

The story is written mostly in FPPOV until now, and since the MC isn't talking to the reader, he doesn't feel the need to explain the locations, as he's already familiarized with the world around him.

From the second arc onwards, there will be (even if slightly) more detailed explanations about the locations.

But I'm trying my best (since it's my first Webnovel for real) to connect everything to the plot.

Even the dots that seem completely amiss.

Everything is related and has an explanation.
