Divine Golden Dragon

In the middle of the room, above the hand of a newborn child with Gold rank potential, was an image of a Golden Dragon. The image itself wasn't very big, however the Dragon in the image was gigantic.

Each of it's wings were one hundred feet long and have a honey colored membrane, with three claws at the tips. It stood on four massive legs, which showed bulging and ripped muscles even through the scales.

It's head was as big as a small mountain, with two very large and pointy horns, sticking out the back of its head. The dragons body stood as tall as the King's castle. The large ivory spikes on its back were larger than a full grown adult. The spikes also continued onto the dragons tail. At a little under one hundred feet and covered in spikes, it made for a massive weapon, should the dragon need it.

When the doctor saw the dragon in the image he was beyond surprised. In his excitement he shouts, "The Divine Golden Dragon, it's impossible!"

The shout surprises Jacob and Sarah, they ask the doctor, "Doctor what's wrong? What is a Divine Dragon, aren't they all the same?"

"You must not know a lot about dragons, very well, allow me to explain." the doctor says before taking a seat at the table.

"To start, there are three ranks of dragon. First, we have the normal dragons. While they are considered normal dragons, they are still very capable of destroying a kingdom by themselves. When several fly together, they can annihilate an empire."

"The next rank is Legendary Dragons. These dragons are known as legendary because they have been alive for several centuries. The older a dragon gets, the stronger that dragon becomes."

"Last but not least, we have Divine Dragons! Not only have these dragons been alive for almost double the time the legendary dragons have been, they have also attained Godhood."

"To my knowledge, no one, not even former kings or emperors have had an affinity for any Divine Beast, much less a Divine Dragon!"

"So you can say my surprise was normal when I saw that your son is the first person in history to have an affinity with a Divine Beast." says the doctor.

"Fir.. First person in his… history." Sarah mumbles with a blank face.

Jacob grits his teeth as he asks the doctor, "If even one of those evil bureaucrats find out about this, I'm afraid the kingdom will try kidnap or kill little Jax! Doctor do you think it's a possibility for that to occur?"

This question brought Sarah out of her daze. "No one will take or kill my child! They will have to kill me first!" she shouts angrily.

"Your concern is justified, there are stories throughout the kingdom of kids with great potential disappearing. Parents of these children went to the King's Castle to ask for help finding their missing children and they were turned away at the gate by castle guards."

"Although, these are stories and rumors, you can never be to careful. If I was you, I wouldn't tell anyone his true potential or his beast affinity. Both of these points are likely to have him targeted for either killing or kidnapping him." the doctor answers Jacob after Sarah's outburst.

Jacob then looks at Jax with worry in his eyes and asks, "Is there no way prevent people from learning his secrets? An item, skill or spell we could use or learn and give to him later?"

The doctor takes a moment to think before answering Jacob. " There are a few known treasures that can hide someone's information from another but, all of these items are located in very dangerous areas of the kingdom. There are also several areas that haven't been explored because the monsters were too strong! Are you sure you want to try to get them with just the two of you? While protecting a child?"

"We are sure, and we are determined! When Jax is old enough, we will begin his training. While training we will also look for these treasures you speak of. Will you provide me the all the details you have of them?" Jacob asks.

"I will write a list of the items I have read about, but exact locations I don't have. Just rumors from adventures." says the doctor

After about ten minutes of writing the doctor hands Jacob a couple of pieces of paper and says, "This is all the information I have about those items, and the last place I knew of them to be. Before I go I must warn you. Keep the child away from the capital, or the whole kingdom if you can. There are several people in the kingdom with good senses, if they're around your son for too long, they might discover his potential just from his natural aura." says the doctor as he stands and heads for the door.

As the doctor opens the door, Sarah grabs his shoulder, he turns back only to receive an unexpected hug from Sarah. "Thank you for coming to check on our son, and for your warnings and knowledge, with this I have less fear about Jax's future." Sarah says with tears streaming down her face.

"There, there child. You are most welcome, I also wanted to thank you for this once in a lifetime experience. It's not every day you find a newborn child with Gold rank potential, and an affinity with an actual divine beast! I will cherish these memories and take them too my grave." the doctors words and his sincere attitude finally let Jacob and Sarah relax a little.

"Oh and by the way, if you need me again ask for Doctor Yang at the medicinal plaza." With that Doctor Yang left and closed the door behind him.

Outside the house, the doctor looks up and down the road scanning for something. He doesn't detect anyone around so he turns and starts walking down the road. After a few minutes Doctor Yang stops in the middle of a dimly lit intersection. He stands there, as if he's waiting for something or someone.

"You can come out now! I know you've been following me, you don't need to hide." The doctor says to the air.

At this moment, a young man and women step out from the shadows. The man looks to be about 25 years old with short brown hair. He was the same height as Doctor Yang but, had a much younger and stronger body. The female looked to be younger than her partner, maybe 20 or so. She had long blonde hair and a slender athletic body. She was about the same height as the male, maybe a few inches difference.

They both were armed with silver longswords. They also carried a bow and quiver of arrows on their backs.

When Doctor Yang saw these two people he sighed with relief and said, "Ah, it's only you two. I've said this before but, it's not a good idea to sneak up on me."

"We're just testing to make sure your age doesn't start affecting your senses and power old man." The male replied while the female giggles.

"Jasper and Kate, what are you two doing here? Where are the others?" Asked Doctor Yang. He was surprised to see them because they were supposed to be on a mission outside of the kingdom.

"We finished our mission faster than anticipated, we have come to report and for new orders, sir!" The two answered in almost perfect tandem.

"Finished already? Ok, I'll hear your report, just not here. Return to base and wait for me, I will be along shortly." Doctor Yang replies

As soon as Doctor Yang gives his orders, the two vanish as if they were never there. Doctor Yang continues down the road until he sees a dilapidated house in the distance. Seeing the house he speeds up his pace as if he were in a rush to get there.

He soon arrives in front of the house, but doesn't enter. That's because when he approaches to enter, the door of the house opens and a tall figure wearing an entire set of armor steps out.

When Doctor Yang sees this figure he smiles and says, "Hello Victor, long time no see! How you been?"

The figure known as Victor stabs his pitch black great sword into the ground and removes his helmet. He then folds his arms and says, "Well now, if it isn't old "Captain Yang". It has been a very long time since we last spoke. I believe your last words to us were that you would never come back to this place, and yet, here you are. Tell me, why I shouldn't kill you now for returning here?"

"We'll I can't say that I didn't expect this kind of greeting, but it is surprising having it come from you. One of my best students ever is now threatening my life, it's sad really."

"Also, you won't kill me because you can't kill me. Not only am I more skilled than you, I'm also stronger. I didn't return for no reason either, I came to admit I was wrong to question the prophecy of a god, and to inform you the prophecy I always thought you guys made up to control people has already begun!" Replies Doctor or Captain Yang rather.

"What!? What are you talking about? We haven't detected any signs of a prophecy beginning!" Victor shouts angrily not believing Yang at all.

He was angry, 'Not only had this guy mocked them but he also left with knowledge he shouldn't have. Now he returns to mock us again.' Thought Victor 'He needs to be taught a lesson before being banished.'

Just as Victor was planning to attack, the doctor took a crystal ball from his bag. The aura this crystal ball gave off surprised Victor so much, he forgot he was angry a few seconds ago.

He then looks at Doctor Yang and asks, "Why is the aura in this crystal ball so familiar? Who's potential is this? Out of all the potential tests I've seen, there has never been one so vastly powerful! This is amazing!"
