Iris had put Sasuke to bed for the night. Sitting at the table waiting for Naruto to come in. Kiroro could sense the young woman's uneasiness. The two tail ran out one of the windows to find Naruto. She didn't like it when her master was uneasy. The two tail was stopped by Iruka. "Kiroro take this to Iris. Hurry Naruto is in danger and we need her help." He said with worry with a nod Kiroro ran back giving the note to Iris. The woman jumps up grabbing her pouch leaving a clone just incase Sasuke woke up. Hoping on Kiroro's back they take to the sky hopping she finds him before the village does. "Naruto please be safe." She whispered tears blurring her vision. Kakashi surprised them by hoping on out of nowhere. "I heard about Naruto do you have any idea where he is." His words fell on deaf ears because all she was focusing on was finding her son.

Iruka pov

I hope Iris gets to him before someone else does. Running threw the woods I found him. He was practicing his cloning Justu. I was impressed till I noticed Mizuki. What is he doing with Naruto second thought Iris may want to stay back. I know how she feels about him. She seems to be the only other person that can see threw him. I was brought out of my thoughts when two Kuni knives almost hit Mizuki. I look up to see a very pissed Iris and equally pissed Kiroro. Landing a few feet from them Naruto began to quiver in fear. "Mizuki do you care to explain your bullshit reason to me. Why is my son out here with you of all people?" She asked standing by Kiroro. I watched the exchange a bit afraid to step in. I look in the trees a few feet back to see Kakashi waiting as back up. Mizuki looks furious at Iris. "Why do you have to be here? I could care less about this useless brat. He is nothing more than a monster everyone knows it. Why do you protect this welp when you have the Uchiha boy? Do you feel a odd twinge of responsibility for him? Oh wait you knew his parents personally thats why your doing this. Its not out of love its out of pitty." He laughed making assumptions dangerous ones. Before anyone knew it Iris punched him sending him into a tree. "I do what I do because I love him. He is my son and no one can tell me different. I know what people say about me. I know what people say about him. What they say doesn't, and will never change my decision. Naruto is my son Mizuki so you can take your prejudice bullshit elsewhere." She said now standing infront of Naruto. He had this look of shock that turns to shame and guilt. "You think that little speech will work on me? You are nothing more that an attention seeking whore. You are turning away men left and right for what. Female's need a man in a home because your all weak." But before Iris could react Mizuki attacks her. She was sent into a nearby tree blood comming from her mouth. "Naruto run" she said preparing to die here. Instead of listening to her he preformed shadow clone justu. Mizuki tried getting away but was stopped by Naruto. "Nobody Harms my mother believe it." He said before passing out himself.

Iris Pov

I woke up in the hospital Naruto and Sasuke on either side of me. I smile grateful that Naruto is ok. "You did a fine job raising them." I look to see Kakashi in the door way. He was holding some freshly picked wild flowers. I smile at him motioning him to sit down. He does and we talk about what happened. "No doubt that both of them love you. The nurses can't get them to leave. I'm happy your ok though. The village would be an empty place without you." He said before he left to take a report to the Hokage. I was about to close my eyes again when I felt it. I looked out the window cluching the you boys to me. "How is he still alive?" I asked out of fear and praying he leaves quickly.
