"Is it weird that I hate her?" Sophie asked Liam who was watching Oliver and Rachel from his locker. Oliver was trying to get his books from his locker while Rachel stood there, holding a textbook to her chest and engaging him in a conversation.
He hated her too.
"Not at all." He answered absentmindedly before he realized he was talking to someone and turned to find Sophie.
"When did you get here?" He asked, surprised to find her standing close to him.
"A while ago." She shrugged and kept her eyes on the two.
"Do you think something is going on between the two? I mean, he has a pretty girlfriend, right? Besides, Rachel had always been flirting with you, and all of a sudden she is all over him. What an attention-seeking whor—"
"No cussing." Liam snapped at her.
"Hey! You cuss people too!" She replied defiantly.
Their attention moved to Oliver and Rachel when Rachel started laughing. The two kept watching them. They could swear Oliver hadn't said anything funny to make her laugh that way. She was simply doing all of that to get attention, and by the looks on the faces of everyone around them, they thought the same thing. Besides, Oliver didn't seem like the type to crack a joke, especially since he had been looking uninterested in whatever she had been saying.
"Are you just going to stand here without taking your book out? Classes start soon." Sophie reminded him.
He snapped back to his senses and quickly took out his textbook from the locker.
"Look what we have here!" Sophie exclaimed when she picked up a letter that fell from Liam's locker.
Liam groaned internally. Not again.
"Dispose of it." He said and started heading towards the classroom.
Oliver and Rachel had already left his locker when he passed there.
Sophie wasn't having any of it. She ran after him to the class, asking him to open the sealed note so she could read it.
"I told you I'm not interested in it. You can do whatever you like with it." He said nonchalantly before going to his seat. His gaze landed on Oliver, who was looking through his textbook, but he quickly looked away and sat down.
"Do whatever I like?" She asked carefully.
"Whatever!" He responded.
"What is going on?" Harry, who had been sitting on his seat, asked Sophie.
"There is another letter for Liam and he asked me to do whatever I liked with it." She said excitedly before taking out her phone. "Come with me!" She pulled Harry to the front of the class with her and opened her phone's camera.
"Here, hold this for me." She handed her phone to Harry, who was looking at her with a raised brow, wondering what she was up to this time.
"Hello! Welcome back to Sophie's blog. Today, I have a juicy gossip for you all..."
The noise in the classroom started to die out as they watched her. They all knew Sophie always had something interesting to say.
Sophie flashed the letter in front of the camera while smiling broadly. "Our Adonis, Liam Adley, has received yet another letter from a secret admirer."
The class oohed and awwed while Sophie pretended not to see the evil glare Liam was sending her.
"So let's see what we have here."

Oliver was looking down at his book, but he was paying keen attention to what was happening around him. If he already didn't like Liam, this was a good reason to hate him. How could he and his friends do that? Reading out the letter for the whole world to hear, how mean could he be?
He blamed the people who, instead of studying, were busy writing love letters. He had been surprised to find three letters inside his locker when he opened it. If those people studied like they were in school for, they wouldn't face such embarrassment.
"Here we go!" Sophie said cheerily and everyone paid attention to her.
"'Liam, have you ever been in love?"' Sophie paused when the class began to cheer.
"... 'I didn't want to send you this letter, but I can no longer hold myself back even though I am aware you may never read this or you would get angry'."
The class awwed this time.
"'I have been in love with you for three years now.' Wow!" Sophie exclaimed as well as the rest of the class.
"'And I wanted you to know that since you would be graduating soon. This school will never be the same without you. Even if I never get the courage to ever tell you how I feel face-to-face, I hope you realize there is someone who is always going to be rooting for you here—"
"THE PHONE NOW!"
Their teacher demanded as soon as he entered the classroom.
"Shit!" Harry cussed and quickly saved the video while Sophie looked flustered.
Oliver hoped she never got her phone back. That had been quite a touching letter. He wondered what Liam thought about it.
He finally raised his head to look at Liam and saw him looking at the front of the class where the teacher and his friends were, with a smirk on his face.
Why was he smirking?
As if sensing he was being watched, he looked directly at Oliver, who quickly averted his gaze.
He really couldn't wait to leave this school.
Something kept telling him to avoid Liam with everything he had.
But Liam had other plans.
