Cousins' time out

Liam was deep in sleep when a loud knock came on the door. The knock continued with his aunt yelling for him to open the door until he stood up groggily and went to open the door.

"Good morning." He said in a hoarse voice while rubbing his heavy eyes with his hands.

"Good afternoon to you too. It's past 2 p.m. for crying out loud! Freshen up and come have lunch." 

2 p.m.? He returned to his bed to pick up his phone as his aunt left him be. He looked at the screen in surprise. It was 9 minutes past 2. There were a few missed calls from his mother which he returned immediately. 

"Hey, mum!" He said when she picked up. 

"I heard from Lucy that you've been sleeping. How was the party?" 

The party? Oh yes! He had gone to a party. He had drunk a lot there, but that hadn't been enough to knock him out like that. He hadn't been able to fall asleep for the rest of the night and only fell asleep when it was 5 a.m. That was why he was just waking up.
