Chapter 2

I can feel the sweat starting to bead on my forehead as my gaze locked with the emerald green eyes of the serpent that made he ape run away without a second glance. It's size is incomparable to that of our snakes back home, even the great anaconda couldn't live up to its length.

/ THIS IS HOW I DIE….. /

I stand frozen to the bone while the icy white skin of the snake starts to coil around me. Goosebumps appear on my arms as my body shakes with fear from the anticipation of waiting for the serpent to squeeze the life out of me. As its body tightens its hold on me, the head of the beast meets with me at eye level.

/ ITS GETTING READY TO EAT ME!!/

I feel my eyelids getting heavy. Then my sight plunges into darkness.

"W-what happened?"

/ Was that all just a terrible dream?/

I look around hoping to see the layout of my bedroom. I soon became overcome with disappointment as my eyes see nothing but cave walls and a fire in the middle giving the cave what little brilliance it had.

/Wait what happened to that ….that …snake…?/

I look back over to the fire /who lit this?/

My question was soon answered when a man walked into the light. He was the most gorgeous man I had ever laid eyes on. He had long white hair and fair skin. His eyes were like emeralds and if the light of the fire hit them just right you could see them sparkle too. He was fairly tall and had a white shimmering snakeskin wrapped around his waist making his pasty skin look naturally beautiful.

/Is that the skin of the snake from earlier did he save me?/

"Are you feeling better?", He said as he placed his hand on my forehead feeling my temperature. Not anticipating the action I was shocked to find how cold his touch was.

"Your cold as ice and your worried about my temperature! Hurry and warm yourself by the fire quick before you get hypothermia."

As he released his hand from my forehead I caught the corners of his mouth twist up into a satisfied grin as he said, "You care about my well being?"

"Well since you saved me I believe that I have a right to care about your well being."

Being more than content with my answer he sat down beside me. Looking at him beside me I was rendered speechless at the sight of his beauty up close. Sensing my staring he surrendered is gaze from the fire and looked at me. I felt my face blush as I turned my head quickly back to the fire.

" You like my human form?", he said looking at me with the biggest smile on his face which suited him surprisingly well based on his sharp facial features.

/Wait….What does he mean by that?/

" What did you mean when you said that?"

" I was asking if you like the way I looked when I am not in my beast form?" He said looking at me with a confused look on his face.

/ What does he mean by beast form??/

" What is a beast form?"

He stood up walking away.

/Did I say something wrong?/

But just before he walked out of the ring of light that the fire was emitting he ripped off his clothing showing him nude and turned into the white snake from earlier.

/ HE IS THAT SNAKE!!/
