Sleepover

49 days remaining

....

Himiko was overly excited when Aito told her that he was dating Shun.

They had been dating for over a month now. If Aito thought that being friends with Shun meant utter peace disruption then being boyfriends was worse.

"Let's go for a walk-in-the-park date!"

"Ice-cream date!"

"Beach date!"

Amusement park, mall, heck even the library. Aito felt that his boyfriend would drag him around the world if possible. What annoyed him the most was Shun's new habit of stealing kisses whenever he had the chance.

Currently, they were sitting in his living room. The cold night air that was coming from outside was refreshing. Shun's head was on Aito's lap. Aito was absentmindedly running his fingers through the other's hair and his attention was on the book in his other hand.

After much pleading, Aito had finally agreed on a sleepover at his house during the weekend. Probably that day the stars were all aligned and the universe was sending the "good vibes". Shun felt as though he conquered the Mt.Everest.

Shun was almost going to fall asleep reveling in the moment before Aito kept his book down and asked a question which Shun didn't quite hear but hummed in response anyway.

Peeved, Aito pinched his nose and held a hand over his mouth extracting an immediate reaction from Shun who jolted up. "Why would you do that?!"

"Did you hear what I said?"

"No." Shun answered truthfully, cuddling into Aito.

"Remember you said that you would want to do something good for someone before dying?"

"Yea." Shun said, stifling a yawn.

"I want to help Himiko-san cross to the other side."

Shun was now half-awake. "That's nice." He said nuzzling into the crook of Aito's neck. "Question is how do I do that? Do you know?" Aito asked.

"Nope....but isn't like fulfilling their one sole wish like in the movies and dramas?"

"Should we try asking her that?"

"Yup. Worth a shot." He yawned into Aito's ear.

"....."

"....."

"If your sleepy then go to the bedroom." Aito tried to get up but the other pulled him down and now he was straddling Shun. Aito blushed at their position and Shun smirked at him. "Suddenly, I'm not sleepy anymore." He said leaning forward. Aito stopped him making Shun pout. With a lot of difficulty, he managed to get out of the horny boy's grip.

"Come on, babe! I need some love!" Shun whined following Aito around.

"You've been loved enough!"

"Your always like this! Do you even love me?!" Shun fake-cried.

"Of course I do!" Aito retorted.

"Prove it! Kiss me." Shun said smugly.

Aito was literally done with this shit. If he was physically capable he would yeet his (oh so annoying) boyfriend to Mars.

[A/N: No, he wouldn't.]

"It's saddening to know that you only love me for my lips!" Aito exclaimed, pointing an accusing finger at Shun.

Shun gasped, "No! I love you as a person. No matter how stingy you are I still love you!" He watched Aito get into bed.

"Did you just call me stingy?-- You have just revoked our relationship!" Aito pulled the sheets over his head.

Shun looked at the futon laid out for him. Displeased, Shun moved Aito a bit to make space for himself and Aito didn't protest but his discontent was clearly shown on his face. Shun kissed his forehead, "It's true though. But I'll still love you." He pulled Aito's head to his chest and nuzzled his face into his hair. "Stupid." Aito mumbled to which Shun softly chuckled nonetheless Aito hugged him back.

That night was probably the first time in many years he had a good night's sleep free from nightmares.
