Chapter 35:

Yuki sat down beside her again. She once again moved to the far end of the couch.

"Is there anyway you'll stop avoiding me?" Yuki asked.

"No, I won't stop." She said while pouting.

"Are you sure?" Yuki said and moved closer to her.

"Yes." Yukari tried to move again but she couldn't as she was already at the end of the couch.

Yuki crawled on the couch towards her. 

"Get away." Yukari tried to chase Yuki away.

Yuki got closer to her, their faces were only inches away. Yukari's ears started turning red. He used his right hand to move the hair strands which was falling on her face.

Yukari turned bright red, her cheeks began to heat up. 

Sniff Sniff.

Yuki sniffed Yukari and moved away from her.

"You ate potato chips." Yuki said, he recognized the smell of potato chips coming from Yukari.

"Ye.. Ye.. Yes." She stuttered. She was still red.

"And did you leave some for me?"

"No, I forgot." Yukari said.

Yuki got up from the couch and patted Yukari on the head. "I'm going to shower." He said before walking away.

While Yuki was showering his mind wandered back to how he got into the black SUV, he only remembered throwing a punch at Sophia's dad and the next thing he woke up in the black SUV. 

'His power is incredible, I couldn't even touch. To top it all off, I don't even know how he knocked me out. Before I go to school tomorrow, I will try to hit him again.' Yuki came up a plan on how to defeat Sophia's dad in a fight.

Yuki finished showering and ate dinner with Yukari before going to sleep. Yuki woke up very early in the morning, it was 4:30 am. He left a note for Yukari who was still sleeping and left.

He walked to the Uzushi residence and rang the bell at the gate. Some guards opened the gate and saw Yuki. They were the men who drove him home yesterday. 

"Young Master, what are you doing here soo early?" One of the men asked.

"I'm here to see Sophia's father, is he awake?" 

"Yes, he's in the garden. Wait here I'll tell him that you came to visit." The guard disappeared for a while and later returned telling Yuki to go to the garden.

Yuki walked to the garden and saw Sophia's father standing next to short tree.

"Why are you here soo early?" He asked while turning to face Yuki.

"I'm here because I want you to train me, you're my only chance of getting stronger." 

"Then hurry up, I have things to do." He said to Yuki.

Yuki place his backpack on the ground dashed at Sophia's father, while Yuki swung his arm upwards while running. A wall made out of ice emerged from the ground between both of them.

'All I have to do is stay out of his sight then I'll be okay.'

Sophia's father didn't move an inch. Yuki circled behind Sophia's dad with speed and punched towards the back of his head. Sophia's father wasn't even facing Yuki.

Yuki's punch was was about to hit the back of Sophia's father's head.

Bam!

Yuki woke up in a black SUV once more, this time Sophia was also in the SUV. She was wanted next to him while a man drove the car.

"Where am I? What's going on?" Yuki asked. "Wait.... Don't tell me he knocked me out again."

"Yes he did." Sophia answered while adjusting her glasses.

"How is that even possible? I was behind him! He wasn't even facing me! He's probably using cheat codes in real life." Yuki folded both his arms and pouted.

"Try training your mind before you fight." Sophia said.

"How?"

She stretched her finger out towards Yuki and touched his forehead with her finger.

In an instant Yuki found himself in standing in an all white endless place. The sky was white, the ground he stood on was white and he couldn't tell where he was. He looked back and saw Sophia standing behind him.

"Where am I?" He asked.

"This is my minds domain. I call it Silent White." She said. "Here I am the creator."

In an instant the entire scenery changed and Yuki found himself at the bottom of an ocean. He tried swimming to the surface but it seemed as if he wasn't moving forward. 

'I can't breathe.' He thought while still swimming upwards. 

He looked down at the ocean floor and saw a whale swimming towards him. He started panicking, the whale opened it's large mouth and in an instant it swallowed him. Yuki who closed his eyes opened them and noticed he was on a train.

Sophia stood infront of him and she spoke in a serious tone. "The silent white is my thinking space, anything I think becomes real here."

"How did you bring me here?" He asked in a curious tone.

She touched her forehead and spoke two words. "Mental thread."

"I attached it to you and dragged you into my mind." She said slowly. "You can't leave unless I want you to."

"What about our real bodies?"

"Were currently sitting in the car. Our bodies won't move when we're in this place." She sat down and the lights flickered a little. "None of this is real, we are just experiencing my thoughts. I brought you here because you can train here, any opponent I think of comes to life. This is where I train, when I'm here I can fight who I want, go where I want and do what I want." The next moment they appeared in outer space but they could breath just fine. "Only people with a mental based kizo can visit their silent white."

"So you are going to let me train in your mind?" Yuki asked.

"Never. You're going to train in your own mind."

"But you said only people with mental based kizo can visit the silent white." Yuki was starting to feel sick. Being under the ocean and immediately getting transported to a train to a toll on him.

"If you master mental fortitude you can gain the ability to visit your silent white even without having a mental based kizo." Sophia explained.

"Mental fortitude?" Yuki was a bit confused.

"Figure it out on your own." She said and looked down at her feet. She seemed a bit shy. "I named this place the silent white, but to me it's a crappy name. Could you suggest a name?"

Yuki smiled. Her asking for his opinion was the first step to accepting him as her friend.

"I'm not gonna completely change the name, so let's go with white space." He said while scratching the back of his head.

"White space." Sophia pondered at the name while looking at Yuki. "It's stupid." She said.

"Well! Silent white isn't a very well thought name as well!" Yuki yelled.

"Okay, let's go." She said.

"Go where?" Yuki slightly tilted his head and asked.

In an instant the left the white space and appeared back in the real world. The car was parked right infront of the school. Immediately Yuki regained himself he jumped out of the car and fell to his knees, he head felt heavy and he immediately vomited.

"Aaah!" He held his head and screamed in pain. He felt like his head was getting stabbed a thousand times.

His screaming attracted the students who were walking into the school.

"Yuki, are you okay?" Sophia asked while kneeling by him. The way he screamed had gotten her worried.

"It hurts!" He managed to scream. 

Derek, Tamiko and Yukari were walking into the school gate and they saw Yuki kneeling on the side of the road while holding his head. They also saw Sophia kneeling beside him.

Yukari immediately ran to him and the moment she arrived infront of him his eyes started bleeding. He screamed even more in pain.

Derek and Tamiko also ran to Yuki when they noticed him screaming.

Sophia was starting to get scared, she believed that was happening to Yuki was because she dragged him into her white space. Derek tried touching Yuki but Yuki's skin was incredibly cold.

The atmosphere around them became cold immediately.

"We have to get him to the school nurse." Derek said and picked up Yuki and carried him in his arms. Yuki had lost consciousness.

They all ran to the school clinic and placed him on the bed.

"What happened to him?" A nurse rushed in and asked.

"I don't he suddenly started screaming and bleeding from his eyes." Sophia quickly spoke.

"Please leave, I'll take care of him." The nurse chased them out of the room. 

They stood in the waiting room, confused, worried and scared.

"What's happening to Yuki?" Tamiko asked in worry.

They all noticed Yukari sitting on a chair completely still and quiet.

"Yukari-chan, you know what's happening to Yuki, don't you?" Derek said while sitting next to her. Tamiko and Sophia also stood infront of her wanting to hear the explanation.

"Yuki has a heart condition which is why his ki is weak. Sometimes his body begins to hurt and he bleeds from his eyes and his nose because of his condition." Tears dropped from her eyes as she spoke. "Since when he was little every doctor and healer we met said he wouldn't live up to eighteen years old."

Tamiko covered her mouth in shock, she felt like her heart had broken into a million pieces. Sophia was also feeling disbelief and pain.

"I don't want him die." Yukari sobbed. "He can't die, I don't want to lose him. I don't want to lose my brother." At this point Yukari was already crying.

"He's not going to die!" Derek yelled. He was also feeling very worried for Yuki, but he didn't let it get to him. "I know Yuki, and he's not going to give up. He won't let himself die without becoming the strongest! He's going to live until he's old and grey!" 

The nurse walked into the waiting room and informed them that Yuki's condition was now stable. The school's clinic was just as good as a hospital.
