The Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi also hailed as the 'Supreme Shinobi' and 'The Professor' was at this moment assigning Jonin teachers to the new academy graduates. He was looking at the reports of four particular academy students.

Hiruzen looked at the first report.

'Minato Namikaze, an orphan from the extinct Namikaze Clan. He scored second in the Academy in both written and practical tests. He has a kind and sunny personality while being someone who follows the shinobi guidelines. A talented boy with the will of fire.'

'Minato is a very humble and collected man. Very perceptive and shrewd, he is noted not to do something without a reason. He has an indomitable spirit and fierce ambition that drives him through all his choices in life. Minato addresses others with the appropriate honorifics, indicating his politeness.'

He then looked at the second report.

'Anzu Uchiha, daughter of Hana Uchiha, a Jonin. Unlike her mother, Anzu's father, Chisaki who is also s Jonin, is not an Uchiha, and for that reason their family lived separately from the Uchiha clan. Anzu is a talented girl and scored third in the Academy in practical tests but barely passed the written test. She has yet to awaken the Sharingan. A talented girl but she is an Uchiha.'

'Unlike other Uchiha, she is not arrogant and egotistical. Perhaps this is due to living away from the Uchiha clan. Her personality somewhat resembles the young Tsunade in the fact that she is too emotional, getting angry or happy easily. She is relatively naïve and lacks social awareness, only focusing on her friends, family and growing stronger. She has also shown a dislike to studies.'

And finally he looked at the final report.

'Asakura, an orphan whose parents died during a mission leaving the then 1 year old child alone. He scored first in the Academy in both written and practical tests and broke many existing records. He has a detached personality towards strangers but is somewhat mischievous to his friends. He has a huge thirst for knowledge, learning everything he could from his Chunin teachers before graduating. An extremely talented boy with a thirst for knowledge.

'Among the three he is the most shrewd, using everyone around him to their greatest advantages. He has the capability and mind of a strategist, a chess player who uses all his pieces to their limit. He has high social awareness and possibly political awareness. He is an all-rounded genius and seemingly withdrawn from everyone other then Minato Namikaze, Anzu Uchiha and Kushina Uzumaki, his only friends. He is also seen having a good relationship with his Head teacher.'

Hiruzen looking at the three had a headache. All three have exhibited talent beyond normal. Under normal circumstances he would try to balance each team but with the lack of a decently talent in the academy, keeping them separated would instead be counterproductive.

Afterall, even geniuses need rivals to force themselves to grow stronger. Looking at the three reports, Hiruzen sighed and made his decision.

"I should let him teach these three. As long as their loyalties remain with Konoha, they would end up being excellent pillars of Konoha. Knowing his personality, he will definitely teach them values which is what I want. Perhaps this will be the birth of the strongest team in history."

A new day has started and Asakura is currently headed to the Ninja Academy to know his team and jonin sensei. Looking around at the people who look happy and peaceful he thought of the future.

'If I remember correctly, by the end of next year, the Second Shinobi World War will start and I as a possible Chunin by then according to my plans will also participate. I need to prepare as much as I can to survive this war.'

While thinking about all this, he reached the academy and entered his class. He then sat at his usual position.

"Hello Minato.....Hello Anzu.....Hello Kushina."

Asakura greeted all his friends while sitting at his seat next to Anzu. When he saw Anzu looking at him with an unhappy look he grinned at her to express his joy at her misfortune.

Before Anzu could reply with a punch, the Head Teacher walked into the classroom and started addressing to all the students who graduated.

"Beginning today, all of you are real ninjas...but you are still a rookie genin. The hard part has just started. You will soon be assigned duties by the Village, so today we will be creating three man teams and each team will have a Jonin Sensei. You will follow that Sensei's instructions as you complete the assigned duties."

After that the Head teacher started telling each student's assigned teams. After sometime came the teams that concerned Asakura.

"...."

"Next, Team 8...Minato Namikaze....Asakura....and...Anzu Uchiha."

"...."

"All done. This afternoon we'll introduce the Jonin Sensei. Take a break until then."

And with that the Head teacher left leaving behind the curious students who started to let their imagination go wild.

"Asakura, who do you think our sensei will be?"

Minato asked in a calm voice but as Minato's friend and someone with the ability of Social Manipulation, Asakura knew Minato was excited and looking forward to what was to come.

"No idea but as long as he is a good teacher, I will be satisfied. With our grades, we should definitely be getting a good teacher."

After replying to Minato, Asakura looked at Anzu who clearly was still fuming from earlier.

"Ok ok... I'm sorry. Can the great Anzu please forgive this lowly one."

Anzu gave Asakura a weird and disgusted look.

"What is with that creepy tone. Don't speak to me like that again, creep."

Asakura felt as though a sharp arrow penetrated his heart upon hearing the word 'creep'. Minato just smiled warily looking at these two friends of his who argue all the time.

Just then a tall and well-built man entered the room. He had waist-length, spiky white hair that ties back into a pony tail, with two shoulder-length bangs framing his face. There were red lines under his eyes which extended down his face, going all the way to the bottom.

Asakura looked at this man with shock. Although he expected the Third Hokage to give them an excellent Jonin sensei but this was unexpected.

'I thought only Minato was going to be his student but it seems all three of us are.'

Yes. The man who entered was none other then the future Legendary Sanin, student of the Third Hokage, the Toad Sage of Mount Myoboku, Jiraiya.
