Babysitting

The journey to the blue mountain was torture. Baby Raven wouldn't stop crying, they thought that maybe she was sick but Luis quickly dismissed that thought after a quick check up. They tried everything but she wouldn't stop. After hours of crying, they finally landed in the middle of a mountain in the middle of nowhere. It was a hidden helipad.

Imagine Carol's surprise to see 3 hot guys passing a crying baby between them plus a tomboyish girl pretending as if she didn't know them. She didn't know whether to laugh or cry seeing their antics.

Like as if a miracle happened, the moment Carol held out her hands. Raven reached out for her and immediately stopped crying and fell asleep. After a short quite road with all the other four adults and a baby asleep, Carol drove them to the mansion. It was only after they arrived that they woke up. She didn't have any baby things and it was apparent that the guys didn't.

She told Macy to bring them on her way back. Macy had to go back to the UK to solve one of the problems in her Real estate company. She will be arriving there later that day. After a short tour of the guest wing and around the property since the baby was asleep. Carol with the help of Mandy who instantly clicked with her made dinner.

Mandy who was Luis's friend, chose to tag along with them at the last minute. She was an orphan just like him and they grew up together in the orphanage. She also severed her ties to the blood hound pack with the help of Jackson.

" Dinner is ready guys" Mandy said ushering them to the very spacious dining room with a huge table.

" Nice place you have going on" Luis commented.

" Thanks, the whole land including the mountain area belongs to me. It is very secure and very secluded." Coral responded.

" Really? It must have cost a fortune" Michael commented.

" It did but it was well worth it. Nobody knows this place, Macy will be building her own house near here. If you also want to build one just tell me or Macy. She just graduated in architect and design." Coral said and of course michael had a huge proud grin making everyone roll their eyes at him.

" Who made the barrier outside. I can tell it is very powerful." jackson commented.

" A very good friend of ours, Sally. She's a grand witch, she's away in college. She attends University of Sydney majoring in Education ( early and primary). You'll meet her this weekend, she'll be here to celebrate my birthday." Coral said picking jackson's interest.

" Oh! we are lucky then. Are we having a party?" Mandy said.

" I'm a wanted woman so no party. But a get together will be fine with a small circle" Coral replied. Jackson clenched his fists as he had already investigated her.

He found out that she was wanted by her former pack. He runs an IT and investigation company, it was very easy to bride someone close to Alpha Eric to spill what happened. The contact told him that Carol was rejected by her mate, Ashton who was also the next heir. The Alpha almost assaulted her resulting in her poisoning him in self defense so she could escape.

He couldn't find out more information about her since that day except her educational background. They still can't treat him despite consulting all the specialists there is. He also found out that she was an orphan and was treated like a servant by her foster family. He was proud she taught that alpha a lesson and he was so angry when he read the report that he destroyed his office with just a flip of his fingers.

They talked daily since that day and really got to know one another. He felt very insecure but after knowing Carol this 2 weeks, mate bond or not, he wants her and only her. There was something different about her when he saw her earlier but he couldn't put a finger on it.

Macy came in a while later, she looked tired and Coral had already warned mike to tone down his behavior. She told them about Macy's super speed and that she wouldn't hesitate to run as fast as she can and they won't be able to find her.

" I'm going to lay down for a few minutes. Don't wake me up!!" Macy said and went to her room in the guest wing as Coral liked her privacy. Her seal was weakening and her powers would get out of hand sometimes so it was best if she self isolate until she can control all of her new found abilities.

" Okay, I'll place your food in the oven. You can heat it up when get hungry" Coral replied. Macy said goodbye to everyone,of course ignoring Mike, then went upstairs.

" So my mate is ignoring me?" Mike said dejected.

" No , she's avoiding all the male species." Coral responded making everyone look at her in question.

" It's not my place to tell, she'll come around. Can anyone care to help me? I figured seeing you guys passing around a tired little baby and figured that you didn't have necessary baby equipment and asked Macy to buy it on her way home." Coral said and of course jackson was the only volunteer.

Macy had bought everything from clothes to a stroller. They took everything inside including the baby formula to the baby's room.

" Do you guys know how to make a Baby Cot?" Mandy asked seeing it.

" We don't but we can read the instructions." Luis said excited.

" I'll go make her bottle. Where's her nappy bag? " Coral asked.

" What's a nappy bag?" jackson asked.

" I'm starting to think you guys kidnapped a cute little baby. A bag with all the diapers and her milk. Did they give it to you at least when you picked her up?" Coral asked the boys.

" They didn't. That crazy woman practically threw her at jackson." Luis commented.

" Really? that explains the crying. I'm guessing she also hasn't eaten in a long time. The poor baby. " Coral said going through the shopping bags. Macy had bought tons of baby formula and she quickly found the bottle sets. She went to the kitchen and prepared the bottles then made three bottles considering how scared and hungry baby Raven would be.

She also packed everything with Mandy of course asking questions related to babies. Luis and the others listened intently. Luis was a doctor but knew nothing about raising babies.

" How do you know so much about babies" Mandy asked.

" I babyset a lot in my former pack. Mostly were babies in case of an emergency." Coral replied breaking jackson's heart. Baby raven woke up a while later. Loudly crying.

She picked her up and allowed the guys to take out the bed so they can place in a cot for safety reasons. Mandy and Coral fed her and changed her diaper after giving her a bath. They also noticed a lot of hidden wounds on her legs making them worry so they called Luis. After a thorough check, he said that he wasn't sure that she wasn't molested but someone was pitching her hard which was why she hadn't healed yet.

Noticing jackson's mood, Coral placed her hands in his and he instantly calmed down. Mike looked at Coral as if he had found his savior when he saw that. Baby Raven was fed, bathed and was dressed in a cute green onesie that matched her eyes and complimented her black hair. She looked so cute that Mandy and Luis were fighting to hold her.

Coral who was unconscious to her hands holding jackson's started feeling sick and ran to the bathroom to vomit. Jackson ran after her and held her hair up to help . He was worried noticing her face turning pale and followed her.

" God is she vomiting again!?" Macy said coming downstairs.

" Yes, did this happen before?" Luis asked.

" Yeah, she started a few days ago. She also has a few headache and her abilities are acting up." Macy said.

" Abilities?" Mike asked.

" Yes, she's a hybrid. Did you seriously not smell that she's also a vampire?" Macy responded making everyone look at her then at Coral who had just came out of the bathroom.

" You're a hybrid?" Mandy asked her with sparkling eyes while Luis took her hand to feel her pulse ignoring the growling Alpha who was watching his movements. The only reason why he was still standing unharmed was because jackson was also concerned about her health. Carol didn't deny it while jackson didn't seem surprised.

" Yeah, my family is complicated. " Coral said vaguely.

" And congratulations. You are with child." Luis said. He studied chinese medicine from his late grandpa growing up along with supernatural anomalies plus went to medical school.

" What did you just say?" Coral asked

" You are pregnant." Luis said making Macy spill the water she was just drinking.

" How? I am pretty sure i took the pill." Coral said sitting down to process the news.

" Well Cole did say it might not work. You were drugged with unknown contents plus your body is a mystery at the moment." Macy said eyeing Coral's stomach.

" Oh boy. I forgot about that with all the running and crazy stalkers going around." Coral said.

" Well congratulations. You'll make a fantastic mom. I'll call that pervert so can check what's going on. Sally is on her way here too so don't panic. I would ask who the father is but it's already given." Macy said looking at Jackson who was in daze.

" I'm really going to be a mom?" Coral asked in a trance.

" Yes, you will." Macy comforted while holding her shoulder and using her calming power to make her sleep because she was unconsciously releasing pressure affecting everyone in the room except jackson who was an Alpha. The guys and mandy were forced into submission. Baby Raven has alpha blood in her but was starting to get affected. She signaled jackson who caught her and led him to the other wing to her bedroom.
