After Spirit explained the details of the competition, Ayensi relived the past in his head.

'I remember participating that once and won. Although they said it was a fishing competition, it's actually just swimming and killing overgrown fishes.'

Ayensi's face back then was much older compared to his current appearance. He was a middle-aged man back then. He was still unnamed and therefore, he expected the people not to remember him.

'Also, I re-entered this world a few centuries after I left. Although it is much shorter than the time I actually used outside, many generations have already passed for mortals.'

When Ayensi was about to excuse Spirit away, he remembered something and asked.

"Do you sleep here?"

"Yes, Master."

"How big is your room?"

"Enough for a big family." Spirit sounded excited.

'Is he hinting at something!?'

"Could you let Shiena sleep with you tonight?"

"What!?"

Shiena's voice exploded. She stood up from her bed and went to Ayensi, hugging his right arm.

"Master, it's not that I have a problem with it, but why?"

Spirit frowned at this sight.

'Is Celestial Shiena this clingy before? Also, she looked more... feminine.'

Like a lightning bolt, a realization hit her.

'Oh... so that happened. Does that mean it's their first time?'

Spirit didn't feel anything wrong about it. She wouldn't even frown if Ayensi declared to make all women his slave and all men his workers. What surprised her is the fact that it was the first time they did it.

'So that's why Master declined me yesterday? He wants Celestial Shiena first.'

Spirit felt relieved. If it was other mortal women, she would be very confused. However, it's the Celestial of Highest she's talking about.

If Spirit is the strongest man like Ayensi too, she thought that she would definitely jump onto the strongest and holiest woman at first chance.

'But aren't they already together before?' Spirit was left unanswered at this question when Ayensi spoke while ignoring Shiena's whining.

"Spirit, accommodate space for Shiena tonight."

"Yes, Master."

"No, I don't want to. Why are you not answering me?" Shiena softly hit Ayensi's chest.

Before, she wouldn't dare act like a needy girlfriend but after that night, after that long skinship, why not?

"Let's meet the emperor first." Ayensi ignored Shiena's reaction and even the fact how she pressed herself against him.

The group of three went to the Emperor's room. While on their way, Spirit thought that she was dreaming.

'The Goddess of Highest... although she's called the Celestial of Highest now, that doesn't change the fact that Celestial Shiena is once the greatest existence before master arrived. While we prayed to meet our Gods, we never even dared to see Celestial Shiena's feet. We felt that we were too low for that... but... I didn't expect her to be so flirty.'

Shiena's image was twisting and changing in Spirit's head. However, the former does not care as she continued to flirt.

Ayensi was almost unresponsive. At least, it was obvious that he didn't hate what she was doing.

"Shiena, act straight when in front of others."

Ayensi only ordered when they were in front of the Emperor's room.

Meanwhile, Spirit had an excited face.

'Master didn't treat me as just other people!' getting recognized by the undoubtedly strongest person in all of existence is surely praise for the Guardian of Spirit.

'I am so lucky that the Great Emperor is my father and that I'm chosen to serve Master up-close!'

The simple bowing of her head felt like she was at the prime of her life.

'From now on, I will become more diligent at serving my Lord and Master, Ayensi Sole Tiowen!'

Shiena's behavior instantly shifted to a more composed and mature lady, vastly different from the "needy girlfriend" she acted earlier.

Ayensi only talked with the Emperor for a few hours regarding his participation in the said competition.

The Great Emperor said that the Bi-Annual Aristocratic Extreme Sports Event does not only include the fishing competition, albeit it is the main event. It is more than a week from now on and will be held at one of the near cities that is still under the rule of the Mealma Empire: Gadan City.

Gadan City is said to be the most prosperous next to the Capital City. Furthermore, it is a culture-filled city. Music, sports, theatre, festivals, large markets, and even carnivals are there.

The Capital is composed of military resources and that is why it is still above the culturally flourishing city.

"Even though the nearest, it is still about several tens of kilometers away from here. Why don't you start traveling now and see the preparation for the events? So you can also familiarize yourself with the place?" the old Emperor politely suggested.

Although he was under the assumption that Ayensi is a god, he didn't want to show that he is aware.

"We'll leave tomorrow. I want to look around here first."

When the talk finished, Ayensi alongside Shiena went out to sightsee. Spirit was, unfortunately, too famous and recognizable to be walking around. It was later that she realized she can just put a disguise on, but that it was too late.

Ayensi said that he wanted to sightsee, but he actually wants to observe the common people. Their behavior, how they dress, how they talk, and even the way their body moves.

Occasionally, when Shiena was too immersed in talking with Ayensi, she would lose focus and let men "who think highly of themselves" walk up to her and tried to pick her up in front of Ayensi.

However, before they could even continue "they just mysteriously disappeared"

Ayensi found Shiena's wording a bit funny.

When the sun began to set, changing the hue of the sky to warm, Ayensi had already seen enough.

"Master, mortals will always be mortals. They are not worth your time."

"Shiena, do you know, the brain is the most complex object in the entire universe."

"... entire universe?" Shiena definitely didn't know that.

"However, look at them. They are simple creatures... on the surface that is. Everyone has a motive and they act towards it. Humans are the first to simplify the complexity of life. Why do you think is that?"

"I don't know, Master."

"Because they are the first to think and rationalize."

Ayensi only said what he concluded in today's observation. If it was yesterday, he wouldn't look at things objectively. But after partaking in his carnal desires, he had more than just an idea what goes inside a human's mind.

When night came, Shiena surprisingly didn't resist sleeping into Spirit's room.

While sleeping on the floor since Spirit didn't dare to sleep together with the Celestial of Highest, she heard sounds of movement.

'Knew it.' Spirit sat up and saw that the Celestial of Highest mischievously going for a night raid.

'I should stop her or she'll anger Master...' Spirit thought so that she has an excuse to follow Shiena.
