Buzz... Buzz...
The cellphone began to vibrate.
Lin Mo glanced at the screen and discovered the caller was a string of unfamiliar numbers.
Very few people knew his number, and Lin Mo had a service set up that rejected calls from numbers not listed in his contacts.
So anyone calling him from an unknown number must be no ordinary person.
Who could it be?
Lin Mo hesitated for a moment but eventually slid his finger across the screen and chose to answer the call.
"Hi, Mr. Lin."
A middle-aged man's voice sounded, speaking in very broken Chinese, "Our boss would like to meet with you, is it convenient for you?"
Boss?
If they were calling him, they must certainly know something about him.
Lin Mo knew it was unlikely that he could refuse, and if his prior intelligence was correct, he could also guess the caller's identity.
It was probably the Faulkner Family, who had actually governed America for over fifty years.
