His hunch was right. The mysterious murders were linked to creatures in the Shadow Realm. Dating back to the one he was with his father's permission and this new one, it all came together and wasn't as surprising as it used to be.

 

To Dezhong, these deaths had something to do with the Dead Mutants he encountered in the Shadow Realm, so they had completely nothing to do with 'serial killers' as acting Chief Ethan made it out to be. It was more of a message, a warning to Dezhong about the danger of his existence.

 

"More people will die because of you, Shadow King," Dark Prince spoke out loud, gasping at the horrendous yet short message. "This is targeted towards you. They knew you would see this message, but why not just use something else instead of killing innocent children."
