The Training Part 2

One month had passed since Aaron began his training. Until now, he had just come more than halfway but, is yet to master it. Today, as told by Sage Henlo is the last day for this training session which meant that it was the last day for Aaron to master his agility. It was the last day to prove that he is one step ahead in becoming the Avatar which the World needs. Yesterday, he took about ninety rounds of firing from the sunrise to the sunset but, Aaron failed to continue the same spirit he had in the beginning and he fell off the topmost boulder and lost consciousness.

Today, the sun hadn't come out as the dark clouds enveloped the sky. Aaron already predicted in his mind that it would rain today which would some or the other way affect his training negatively. But, he was determined and was ready for anything which came as a hurdle in his race to become the best. Aaron knew in his mind that his ultimate hurdle was to become better than himself as this war was not between the Avatar and his opponents but, rather it was with Aaron himself.

"I am ready for this, You can start it right down," shouted Aaron while stretching his body and moving his neck.

"Okay, we are ready here too, let's see if you could take another ninety shots or not." challenged Lunatok.

"Nah, I would rather take a complete hundred shots than stopping at ninety," said Aaron mockingly.

"The young Avatar is enhancing his agility and not bit by bit but, by leaps and bounds." complimented Henlo in his mind.

Aaron stood steadily on the flat ground of the boulder and was ready for round one. Soon, Lunatok and Henlo fired needle-like sharp rocks and fireballs at Aaron. Aaron on the other hand, stood frozen observing the round. His mind was working very fast as it slowed the attack coming at him. In reality, the attack was very fast as both Lunatok and Sage Henlo were practicing their bending too which increased the speed of their attacks. Aaron waited for the attack and immediately dodged the ten needles of rock and leaped off in the air when a fireball was about to hit his chest.

"How did he dodged them, those attacks were top-notched as we both are full of energy. And also we both saw that he was about to get hit with that attack" blurted a shocked Lunatok.

"That was pretty smart a move Young Avatar, You are quite observant. In actuality, he just waited for the attack and used his mind and his reflex actions at the same time. If we both are full of energy then, he isn't depleted of it either." explained Henlo.

"Okay, Let's do it once more and I would make sure he gets one of those needles."

As soon as Lunatok said those words, he and Sage Henlo fired another round at Aaron. Unfortunately, this time also, Aaron dodged them all. Lunatok angrily stomped his feet on the ground and signaled sage Henlo to keep firing continuously until both of them are tired. Sage Henlo nodded at him and followed what Lunatok said.

Both Lunatok and Sage Henlo began the continuous attacking at Aaron but, unfortunately, Aaron was already prepared for this as he knew the temper of Lunatok. Aaron leaped off in the air and dodged all the continuous attacks by rolling in the air and landing on the ground. Angered by his actions, Lunatok immediately switched from rock needles to huge boulders, smaller than the one Aaron was standing upon. Aaron immediately turned on his mental prowess and again leaped off in the air as the boulders came at great force.

Just as Lunatok thought that Aaron would lose it and fell off to the ground something unexpected happened. Aaron who was airborne jumped upon the boulders which were directed at him by Lunatok and used the boulders as stepping stones to further increase his height in the air. This came as an advantage to him because the fireballs stopped in mid-air and weren't able to reach him After the attack was over, Aaron just falls back to the flat ground and landed perfectly on the topmost boulder. Lunatok and sage Henlo who were watching this scene couldn't believe in their eyes and their expression was more surprised than shocked.

"That truly came unexpected, Aaron would be on the ground by now but, there he is, standing upon the boulders and almost ready for another round." blurted Lunatok.

"I am also surprised by his actions today, Avatar Aaron is different today, he is more determined and his actions are more matured than yesterday. He has learned to rely on his reflexes and this means this training is almost over. Young Avatar is one step ahead in his becoming of a great Avatar." acknowledged Henlo.

"Let's fire another continuous volley, I am sure he is tired by those moves of his," suggested Lunatok.

"You never get tired Lunatok and you also are too eager to prove yourself. Listen to me Lunatok before we start another round. I want you to always be on Aaron's side, he needs someone to rely on and who could be better than you. I know you are competing with him but, your destiny is different from his', Just focus on your training and I also see great potential in you." told Henlo in a serious tone.

"I would surely do as you say master Henlo and I just want to be perfect and it is the reason I am pushing myself," said Lunatok.

"Okay, I understood what you just said and I am eager to see both of you in the future."

"I am also eager to see you in future when we would meet again, I would be a better version of mine and Aaron would become the best Avatar, the world had witness yet." agreed Lunatok.

"Okay Young Avatar, you can come down. Your agility training is officially over and now you are one step ahead to become a great Avatar," shouted Henlo.

Aaron jumped off the boulders and landed on the ground as soon as he heard those words. His face was shining brightly in the newly glowing sun. He strolled off with Lunatok as they both chatted while leaving the Fire Island to reach the Shrine. Sage Henlo stood there smiling while gazing at the already disappearing figure of the Young Avatar, Aaron.
