Raava and Awakening?!

It has been a year and a half since his rebirth. He has achieved a few things. Walking, Talking and most importantly, reading.

But Aang's most important achievement?

Within his room, a kid who looked to be about 2 years old sat down cross-legged deep in meditation like an old experienced monk.

It has been a year since Aang made his first substantial progress in contacting Raava but ever since then his progress has become even more exaggerated.

He had to admit that as the avatar his talent for spirituality was unmatched.

At this time Aang was confident that he would be able to contact Raava.

As he recalled that from the First Avatar, Raava couldn't stay fused with Wan for long as his body could handle a direct fusion like that.

Along with a series of conjectures, Aang concluded that Raava should be in a semi-sealed state. He just needs to be able to awaken her.

'Raava...'

'Raava!'

This time his consciousness was able to come in close contact with that light but he hesitated in advancing further.

Although he knew about the show, this was still an untouched territory for him.

There in front of him stood Raava who looked at Aang with shock and surprise.

"How were you able to contact me?" She asked as though she wasn't talking to a child.

Aang's spirit body was just like his physical body in the real world so he was nothing more than a little kid.

"Through deep meditation, I sensed our connection and with that, I awakened some knowledge at the time of my birth. I felt something strange had happened and I could recall some information."

Raava was surprised but not too much.

"I see. It has to be because of that."

"What?" Aang was confused, he had prepared to give his explanation as he knew that he and Raava were connected and it was possible that she could sense his other identity.

But from the looks of it, there is more to it.

"The day we reincarnated..."

Hearing Raava say we, Aang relaxed a little as this means that his other identity is not known.

"...there were unforeseen events that took place. The power of the cosmos was affected and due to our connection with the cosmic energy of the universe we were affected as well."

"At that time a complication arose with your soul and I had to do something about and you almost lost your soul in the process."

"Luckily, I managed to salvage the situation but there were unknown changes that I couldn't understand at that time. I guess that you having an adult mind and recalling my existence was the change."

Raava finished and looked at Aang intently.

"So, can you recall any of your past memories?" She asked.

Aang shook his head calmly, "All I have in my mind is the concept of the Avatar and bringing balance to the world. Also, there is a feeling like I have failed too many times at this task and that makes me feel a sense of urgency and hence I attempted to contact you as soon as I can."

Raava nodded in understanding, "I see, so your consciousness is very advanced for your age but your role as the Avatar was imprinted on it."

"This is unprecedented, but then again this can also be an opportunity," Raava spoke thoughtfully.

Aang smirked inwardly, 'Good, she went in the direction I hoped. Is this how it feels to have plot amour?' he wondered.

But he quickly recollected himself and spoke, "Although I can recall these things, it doesn't go further than that. I am still lacking in a lot of understanding and information and -"

"You can't maintain this state for too long," Raava spoke.

Raava suddenly dived into his spirit body and said, "That event also brought another good thing with it. It allowed our fusion to become better synchronized. With this, it will not be a burden for us to communicate telepathically."

Aang was surprised and gladdened at the same time, "That's great, this means you can help me more."

"Yes, we just might be able to achieve far greater than all our past incarnations," Raava responded.

Aang suddenly didn't feel the strain on his spirit anymore and he closed his eyes and awoke in the real world.

But just as he did a gust of air wrapped around him and slowly lifted him from the bed.

"Huh?" Aang exclaimed in shock and...

*Thud!*

He fell.

"Airbending!"
