Chapter 10

Raoh threw some money to June once they got in the city. "Well, guess you can consider this as enough payment."

"So, where are you heading?" She asked as Nyla stopped its movement.

Raoh jumped off Nyla and said. "Obviously, I have info to deliver to whosoever behind the White Lotus Order. It's secret."

"Oh, I wonder what that might be?" She asked as she jumped off and put her hand on his shoulder.

Raoh moved his eyes to her slender hand. Why do women think that men will collapse and tell them their secret just because they touch them or show them their meat?

He is not 13 years old kid going through puberty.

"As tempting as it sounds to say it, you should know the definition of the secret."

"Come on. I just want to chat. Don't be so stiff." June said as moved her hand to his neck.

Raoh felt quite aroused, but it was only a biological reaction. His mind was still in one piece.

"Yeah. I'll tell ya."

"What?"

"The next avatar should be an air-bender." He said the most common knowledge ever.

Raoh put her hand off his neck, turned, and started walking away.

*Whip!*

A strong whipping sound echoed behind Raoh.

"Oh come on, June. You can't get angry over this little secret." Raoh stopped his steps.

"You should have thought of that before teasing me!"

She said in a loud voice.

It seems that his words had played on her nerves.

He turned and looked at her, holding her whip and staring at him with a grudge.

"You don't have to be angry over that," Raoh smirked, teasing her again. "You wanted my secret, you got it."

June could take it no longer, lifted her whip, and she slammed. The whip was so fast, even for his eyes. Luckily, he didn't need his eyes to predict this.

Once the whip landed on his chest, Raoh already vanished and appeared squatting. The whip wrapped around his cloak, and Raoh stood and held them both with one hand. This way, the whip can't hurt his hand.

"You've gotta be kidding me. Talking about the resistance, escaping from the mines, fighting tens of people and acting like a cool guy, and after all of that, you are telling me that the Avatar is an Airbender. Everybody fucking knows that! And everyone knows that Air-nomads had gone dead a hundred years ago. You ask if I get angry!"

June tried to pull her whip back, but Raoh was holding tight. She tried to put more force into it. She is famed for her strength in arm wrestling, so she shouldn't pale.

"Hey! You were planning to ambush me for my bounty, and I'm not angry."  Raoh pulled back and held still. He has to admit, this woman's arm seemed to have more strength than the people he had fought.

June held it with her two hands and said. Her expression changing. "So you knew that. You must be a good trickster."

"I wouldn't refuse a good ride." Raoh smiled. "Besides, were you for real, asking the Ripper where is his sword. If you want to ambush someone, don't say something so silly.."

"So, you are really smart." June started pulling with both of her arms, making Raoh title his body over to her. He sneered and used both of his hands to pull suddenly.

Overwhelmed by his strength, June gave up the whip as it flew out of her hand.

"Nyla!" June screamed.

The animal behind her dashed at Raoh. It extended its tongue, which moved at a high speed.

Raoh had remembered a few things about the animal that works with June. First, it's blind. And most importantly, its whip-like tongue can make anyone paralysed by touching them once.

He bent over, hearing a supersonic bomb over his head. Raoh then jumped, dodging another whip from that animal's tongue.

"That's it!" June screamed at her Nyla. Raoh rolled over the ground and got next to her. Just a part of a second before Nyla makes her attack, he pushed June to stand over him. The tongue of Nyla got her, paralysing her. The animal seemed to realise what happened, and it got angry. It dashed at Raoh with its house-sized body. Raoh knew that he couldn't be as strong as it, so he had to be smart enough to deal with it. He held the whip, aimed well, and stroked. The tip landed on its nose, and Nyla roared as it started rolling on the ground.

Raoh knew that this animal sense with its nose. That's why he attacked that spot.

He then walked to June, who was on the ground, lying and paralysed.

He squatted on his knees. "So, everything was ruined once you got angry. No one taught you to be calm when fishing."

"Don't criticise me." She rolled her eyes. "You knew all along and used me. I was just played by you."

"Ha~ trying to make me look like the bad guy…  who is right and wrong doesn't matter. Who won, and who lost is what matters." Raoh replied as he put his finger on her forehead. "You know why they call me the ripper."

He was thinking if she has more use. He wasn't in the mood of killing as he doesn't have enough grudge as he had against the guards.

"Just make it quick." She said.

"Thank you for the ride." He said. "But I'll take a refund, and your money should make it up for the calories that I have lost." He reached next to her wrist, to a full pouch which seemed to be heavy. It's made from Raoh's money, and hers.

"Please! No!" She begged. "Don't take my money!"

Raoh almost paused. "What kind of person who rather loses their lives than money?"

"Mercenaries." She said, her eyes full of anxiety. "I worked hard for it."

"You really are pathetic." He sighed as he took what he had given early, that pouch which he had stolen anyway. With the money he has now, he can make it ten times bigger, just by finding a gambling spot.

He could have killed her, but he knew that she can come to use.

Who knows, what if he needed a rid and no one was around.

By nature, she will stalk him, he knew that.

"Oh… Only if it was a fair battle. You wouldn't be smiling this much!" She gr-lowed in his direction, unable to move still.

"Next time, I'll rent some house-sized dog, and we can have a fair fight. Deal." Raoh laughed as he stood up. "Thanks for the ride." He then walked over. He stopped for a moment, letting Nyla run past him before she hit a wall, he then continued his walk.

"All I have to do is to find the White Lotus Order."

The real information he has to deliver is the location of the Avatar. He couldn't spread this info without consideration as the Fire Nation can use it to kill him. Raoh had to make sure that these guys go and awaken him, with a full set of masters, and then, that guy can take down the Fire Nation. Raoh will have all the nobility to live his life as he sees it fits, and with his abilities, becoming rich didn't seem to be a problem.

However, easy said than done. He can't find these guys, only they can find him.

"Well. I'll figure out something. Now, time for some food." He murmured before he jumped over a roof, exploring the city he got in.
