I began writing because I simply couldn't find stories similar to what I wrote and for those that are written, I have already read them. Or they go on indefinite Hiatus and then I feel empty inside. What to expect? -Strong Mc to even more OP MC -MC is Cold and Cunning / If he does something out of good will, it is because it will benefit him. -MC is Non-Human -Side characters that each serve their purpose / and aren't just forgotten. -Slow paced build up and a few time skips but small jump skips. -Decent World building is a must -No Harem/ but some small romance -Kingdom building -System/ but won't focus too much on crunching numbers. It will be kept at reasonable numbers. -1 chapter a day keeps the reader at bay. -Each chapter is 1,300 to 1,700 words. Chapter 51: Death battle part 3
"Sir, we're not breaching their formation. What do we do!?" asked one of the captains towards the leader of the mercenaries.
"Use our men as a meat shields, we have to take them down before we all perish!" ordered the leader as things began to look desperate for them.
"But sir, they're our brothers, we can't jus-" said the captain, disgusted by the fact that the leader didn't care about the lives of his own men, but he was interrupted before he finished.
"YOU DON'T THINK I KNOW THAT!?" barked back the leader in fury as he grabbed the captain's neck, "IF WE SACRIFICE A FEW, WE CAN STILL SAVE MANY OF OUR MEN, NOW GO!!" He finished saying as he pushed his captain to join the battle.
But in reality, the leader was sweating heavily. He watched how one of his strongest captains earlier got killed almost instantly. It was obvious now that the black gold golems were far superior to his men, maybe even at his level already.
