"You are lying, toddler. I never thought of you as a liar."

"And I'm telling you, ugly freckles. They say that when the full moon comes, you can still hear her cries from the well—still calling for help to this day. When you get close, she calls your name, wanting you to join in the well with her. They say she still wears the red dress." Jaime finished his little scary story. Ymir didn't look impressed, but Krista was hugging her legs tightly.

"That wasn't that scary," Eren commented, but from the way he looked around, it seemed the story had gotten into him. Armin looked a little terrified, while Mikasa looked indifferent. Reiner started laughing while Bertholdt, who seemed a little spooked, the bonfire cracked, embers dancing in the wind. Jean didn't seem as scared, and the same was true for Marco, but Connie and Sasha seemed the most terrified out of all of them.

"What happened next?" Annie asked with a hidden smirk behind her arm; she enjoyed the way almost everyone else was afraid of the scary story.

When Jaime first told them to gather around a fire to tell stories, she thought it was silly, but then Jaime started his story, 'The Dancer in the Well. '

"Do you really want to know that badly, Annie?" Connie asked with a shaking voice as he looked around the darkness, almost expecting someone to jump on them.

"He's right, w-what if someone jumps on us. What if Instructor Shadis comes here." Sasha agreed right away, looking around terrified, trying to see if someone was nearby.

"Well, the story isn't finished; the ending is as important as the beginning and the end." Armin said wisely. Despite his fear, he seemed to want to know the ending.

"Pfff, only you can say something so corny, Armin." Ymir said with an eye roll, getting a playful punch from Krista.

"I thought it was smart, and he's right. The ending is important. So, this man heard her calling his name, and when he looked at her, she was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen, but unknown the the man. This dancer lady appeared differently to everyone, she would always appear as the most beautiful woman or man depending on who is looking at her-" Jaime kept telling the story until he reached the end.

"Then the story ends with the dancer lady dancing in a pile of bones, calling out more names to dance with her." After he finished the story, Sasha looked absolutely terrified, while Connie seemed on the verge of running away to the safety of his bed,

"Jeez, if that's the case. Perhaps Krista is that dancer." Reiner commented in a teasing voice; Ymir glared at him before giving her precious Krista a side hug as if trying to hide her from his eyes.

"You might be onto something, Reiner. Krista is beautiful." Jaime ran his mouth more than he should have, and he realized that immediately when Annie gave him a glare, and Krista turned bright red.

"H-How about another story? But this time more cheerful." Armin asked with a shaky voice. Unlike Connie, he seemed to be handling himself quite well.

Jaime put his finger on his chin and seemed to be thinking deeply about something. "Well, I can always tell the story of the old lady who controlled the blood of the people of a village and forced them to walk to a mountain, where she would consume their blood to live longer." Everyone looked at him as if he had gone mad. Even Mikasa seemed a little uncomfortable.

"Where the hell are you finding these stories, Jaime?" Jean questioned, sounding genuinely concerned.

"Hey, just messing around. How about the story of the most fearsome Titan the Survey Corps ever encountered? The Titan named Ogre." This quickly gained the attention of everyone, especially Eren.

"Wait, they gave the Titan a name?" Reiner asked right away before Armin could.

"Yes, you see. My mentor is a captain of an important squad of the Military Police, and I was able to read reports that you cannot find anywhere else. From what I read, this Titan existed 70 years ago." This revelation caused almost everyone to gasp. Jaime could see that even Annie was paying attention to what he was saying.

"70 Years ago!" Connie exclaimed.

"What was so special about this Titan?" Berholdt asked, sounding intrigued.

"Well, back then, humanity still didn't know the Titans' weak point was the nape, and the ODM Gear wasn't a thing. Do you think the Survey Corps is dangerous now? Back then, it was a blood bath. The rate of mortality was 90-95%, unlike today that is 60%." Jaime revealed. This made even Eren look shocked to hear that so many people died back then before murmuring that he would have still joined the Survey Corps. Despite the chances of living being almost zero, Mikasa seemed ready to scold him.

"Eren, you are offically a Suicidal Bastard." Jean claimed, looking at Eren as if he was the biggest moron in the world, but before another argument could break between them, Reiner cleared his throat loudly before telling them both to keep quiet.

"You still didn't tell us what was so special about this Titan?" Jaime found it a little odd that Reiner was so interested in this Titan, but he shrugged his shoulders and decided to continue.

"Well, from what I read, this Titan used to ambush the Survey Corps; he would toy around with their bodies, and most importantly, he would rarely eat anyone; he often just killed them and then went after the other one. He would use other Titans, and one time it's even said that he kept a member of the Survey Corps alive and walked all the way to Wall Maria while holding that same soldier alive, but before the Cannons could shot him, he showed the still alive soldier, then he ripped his head off, and threw it over the wall, just to mess with the people inside, before running away when the Cannons started firing at him." Sasha puked everything she held inside, right on Connie's lap, who scrambled on his feet and tried to clean everything. The others, looked disgust, and horrofied at what they just heard, even Annie, who was always stoic, seemed a little disgusted.

"Please tell me this Titan is not out there." Marco almost begged him, and he sighed heavily in relief when Jaime said.

"No, this Titan is actually the second Titan that humanity killed; he was killed by a guy named Kuklo, if I remember correctly. That happened ten years after this titan first appeared, with his death. The ODM Gear offically started being produced massively, and the weak point of the Titans being the nape was spread all across the land." Jaime answered, Armin looked relived, while Reiner seemed almost disappointed, or maybe that was just the light of the fire, Jaime thought as Marco addresed him once again.

"What is your favorite story, and please don't tell me that it's another scary story?" Marco asked in an uneasy voice. Jaime chuckled in amusement before shaking his head.

"The opposite, actually; my favorite story is a romantic one." This quickly earned the attention of Krista and Sasha. Mikasa was paying attention, too, but she was much better at hiding it.

"One of my favorite stories I have read is about two lovers who found their love during a revolution," Jaime added with a blush of embarrassment, much to the shock of everyone, while Eren rolled his eyes.

"That sounds boring. Why would anyone read boring romance stories?" Eren questioned with a scoff at the end; Armin seemed to disagree, and Krista disagreed even more.

"Romance stories are the best, I used to read them all the time when I was little," Krista added, her face turning red, much to Ymir's amusement.

"What's this story about, Jaime?" Sasha asked eagerly. "Please tell me it involves food." She added at the end, much to the amusement of everyone around her.

"I read this five years ago. My mentor wanted me to read only books that talked about strategy, war and all that, but Caven, she's a member of his crew. One day I told her I wanted to read stories, and if she could find me one without my mentor noticing, at first she told me that stories wouldn't benefit me, but a month later. She walked into my room and dropped three books she had found, before telling me to read them. The one I'm talking about, well is a story of a girl who was raised as a boy by her father, because he wanted an heir, but since she was born a girl-" Jaime went on and explained how the girl had grown to be a captain of the guards, but eventually as she grew up, she fell in love with her childhood friend, Andre, but when a rebellion started between the poor and the royalty. The two were caught in the middle of it and died fighting for the people.

"In the end, they were buried together on top of a hill." Jaime finished. Sasha seemed on the verge of tears, while Marco seemed touched.

"Wow, that's quite a sad story," Reiner commented while Krista was crying, with Ymir trying to comfort her.

"I used to read books about farms and how to grow food," Marco chimed in before saying that he eventually decided to join the Military Police when one of them saved his life from a bandit.

"I was buying food in the market. I was younger and more stupid and took a shortcut. A thief was there, as if waiting for me. He told me to give him everything, but as I was searching in my pockets. A police came to my rescue, and arrested the thief." Marco said, with Jean calling him stupid for taking a shortcut.

"Never took you for one to read romance, Jaime." Connie teased with a smile while pointing at him and Mikasa. The girl glared at the baldy, and the same for Annie.

"In the world we live in, stories are the only window we have, to see a small glimpse of a world without Titans." Jaime answered, knowing well that some authors were 'silenced' if their stories touched on things that the King of the Walls didn't like.

"I still think the walls could benefit from you, Jaime. As you said, you read books, I'm sure someone like you can become a Commander of the Military Police in no time." Jean said with a slightly downcast look; he didn't seem pleased. Recently, he had started talking to Jaime more and more about joining the MP and becoming officers together.

Only seven months were left, and by this point, everyone knew in which Military Branch everyone would join. Jaime opened his mouth, but a certain someone wasn't happy that Jean was trying to convince Jaime not to join the Survey Corps.

"Well, Jaime is not a coward like you-" "Eren!" Jaime interrupted him before they started another pointless fight, which would likely result in Mikasa and Armin trying to calm down Eren, with Marco doing the same for Jean. Reluctantly, he sat down but still glared at a smirking Jean.

"Jean, the life behind walls, and just sitting around warming eggs is not the life I want. I understand you want to live safe behind the walls. There's more to life than just living for the sake of it." Jaime explained, Jean merely nodded but he still seemed a little displeased.

"You can die out there, Jaime." Marco felt the need to remind him.

"I know that, Marco, but we all die someday, and I want to live this life to the fullest and live it how I want to live it. I know I will be in danger out there, but I cannot fulfill my dream if I just stay here behind the safety of the walls."

"How do you see life, Jaime? What do you think is the perfect way to die?" It was Reiner who asked; his question caught him off guard, Bertholdt.

"Life is short; this world has existed far longer than any of us and will continue to do so even after we are all dead. When the time comes, I would like to die with as little regrets as possible. To enjoy everything life could give a person, and eventually settle down with a girl I like. Have a family, two daughters, and a boy if possible. But the best way to die." Jaime stopped mid-sentence, looking briefly at Annie, who looked back at him, but he could see pain in her eyes.

"In the arms of the woman I love. That's how I want to go out." Jaime answered; Reiner looked like he was deep in thought. Eren groaned loudly, clearly not liking that the conversation turned to stupid romance once again.

"I think we should go now, it's getting late," Armin said; as a gust of wind passed through, the bonfire blew out, and nothing was left but a trail of smoke rising in the air. Everyone stood up one after the other; when everyone else walked inside their dormitory, Annie stopped him and told him to follow her; once they were inside the forest, she turned to face him.

"I didn't take you for someone to dream so big." Annie said with a tease as she stood right in front of him.

Four months have passed since their first kiss, and Annie showed a more cheerful side when she was with Jaime; she could still be quite cold, but he enjoyed all sides of her. They shared time together whenever they were alone. As far as they knew, the others didn't know, but he was certain that Krista and Ymir knew about it somehow.

"What can I say? My dreams are as big as me... that doesn't sound right—" Jaime was silenced when Annie kissed him; he quickly returned the kiss, his arms around her waist, keeping her close. Despite it being the middle of the night, they felt warm. Jaime pulled away and started kissing along her jawline before reaching her throat, trying to remember what he had read from the books his mentor had given him. He wanted to give her pleasure.

Annie didn't know what was happening to her. This was supposed to be a simple kiss, yet she found herself yearning for more and the way he nibbled at her soft neck was driving her crazy, but she knew they needed to stop right Now.

Reluctantly, she pulled away. Jaime almost pouted, but he knew they needed to stop and not be seen by anyone.

"You ruined my fun." Jaime pouted teasingly; Annie smiled slightly in amusement before telling him good night.

As she walked inside, Annie couldn't stop the small smile. She didn't know why, but she felt like smiling, more than usual, something she never experienced before, and the way his lips felt against her, she wondered why she had this feeling.

This is foolish, she thought, suddenly remembering her mission, knowing, in the end, she would break his heart, and he would suffer even more because of her, but despite knowing that, she still didn't want this to end, the feeling she had with him every time they were together, a feeling she didn't want to let go of, and she wanted to savor that feeling as long as possible, it was selfish, knowing what would happen, but Annie always knew she was a selfish person.

One Month Later

Jaime's voice echoed through the dense woods as he asked Annie once again, "Where are we going, Annie?" She had led him further than their usual training spot, and Jaime's curiosity was piqued. Annie remained silent, her eyes fixed on the path ahead.

Jaime could sense that something was off; this was the third time he had asked her, and still no response. The trees towered above them, casting long shadows on the forest floor. The silence was deafening, with only the soft rustling of leaves and twigs underfoot breaking the stillness. Jaime noticed that the vegetation became thicker and the terrain more rugged.

Jaime was about to ask again 'where they were going' when something caught his eye. A decrepit old house nestled in a clearing just beyond a tranquil river stood out against the backdrop of the lush greenery. Its dilapidated state gave it an eerie and haunted feel.

"That's where we are headed," Annie said, pointing at the small house.

As Jaime's eyes scanned the surroundings, he instantly knew the house before him had stood there for decades. The structure had only three rooms, judging by the size and shape of the windows that peered out from the wooden walls. The rustic appearance of the house blended seamlessly with the surrounding forest as if it had always been there, a part of the natural landscape.

Jaime was amazed to see that the house appeared to be in pristine condition, with no signs of decay or neglect. The wooden planks were recently polished, the windows sparkled in the sunlight, and the roof appeared to have been recently replaced. He couldn't help but wonder who had owned the house before it became a part of the forest and who had taken such great care of it. However, his attention was drawn to Annie.

He noticed she was swaying her hips. He felt his heart race as he tried to maintain his composure, taking a deep breath to calm himself. However, he couldn't resist stealing glances at Annie, who seemed to know exactly how to catch his attention. Her round, curvy figure was accentuated by the tight clothes she was wearing, and her hips moved in a hypnotic rhythm that left him transfixed.

Eventually, they walked inside. The inside was clean, as if someone had been there recently, and a bed was big enough for two people.

"Annie?" Jaime called her, his heart beating on his throat as she turned to face him.

"I want you, Jaime. Will you have me?" Annie sounded more vulnerable than ever before. Jaime wondered what brought this on.

"Are you sure about this, Annie. I--I have never done this before." he said with embarrassment. Annie seemed pleased to know that she was his first.

"Oh, I was sure that someone from Wall Sina like you already had a girl warming his bed." Annie teased; Jaime groaned as he locked his arm around her waist.

"Well, not me. My mentor wanted me to try it out, but I didn't want to do it, it just didn't feel right." Jaime said Annie seemed like she wanted to ask what his mentor looked like so she could find him and kick his ass.

"Does it feel right, right now?" Annie asked in a sultry voice, something he had never heard from her before, and Jaime answered by kissing her lips.

Jaime kissed her deeply, taking her breath away, before pulling away and looking at her blue eyes like clear water. "You are so beautiful, Annie, but your eyes. I can look at them for hours." He said with a deeper voice before kissing her lips again.

Moving closer, Jaime deepened the kiss. His movements were hurried as his hands roamed her body, but Annie returned his eagerness.

Her hands reached up and tangled into his hair. Pulling him closer, she kissed him harder. He ran his tongue along her bottom lip, sending chills down her spine. A soft moan escaped her lips.

Jaime grinned slightly through their kiss. "Perfect," he murmured before resuming their kiss. His hands snaked around her body, slipping under her clothes. He gave her ass a light squeeze. Soon, their clothes were removed, and his lips kissed her throat before reaching her breasts.

He lightly pinched her hard nipples, driving out a moan from her as he traced his tongue into her small cleavage, a trail of saliva visible from her neck. He leaned upwards to take her luscious lips into another hot kiss.

Leaning back, he grinned at her lightly as she stared at him through her half-lidded eyes, inwardly shocked to see this side of his.

Nibbling on her ear, biting her earlobe, he whispered huskily.

"I make you feel good Annie." this made her whimper as her juices dripped down her nether regions.

His hands moved lower to her bare pussy, his hand squeezing her ass cheeks.

Annie hissed as he began to rub her clit, his left hand still groping her breasts as he leaned in to capture her pink lips. Annie was so lost in the pleasure that her hand automatically stopped stroking his cock, though it still held its gentle grip on it.

"Mmmm..." her moans were turning him on so much as he nibbled on her lower lip lightly, his left hand playing with her bare tits while he continued to rub her.

"Enjoying...Annie?" Jaime whispered in his husky voice.

"Ja-Jaim-This feels Good...." She panted out as he began to finger her, wet sloshing sounds mixed with their pants fueling their lust. Jaime suddenly stopped making her whimper while he grabbed her; he made her sit on the edge of the bed; he bent on his knees, his left hand reluctantly leaving her breasts, his warm and wet tongue trailing circles around her belly button, making her giggle a bit. He then gently probed his tongue into her belly button, resulting in her squirming a bit. Leaning down, Jaime noticed her clean, shaved pussy.

"What are you doing?" Annie couldn't help but whimper. She wanted more of his fingers.

"I promised you, I will make you feel good." Jaime growled.

"But-t why are you down there-Ohhh, Ohh, Ohh! Fuckk!!" Annie moaned loudly as her knees buckled. Jaime had a surprised expression on his face as he tasted her love juice.

"Jaime....m-more..." she pleaded while panting, a sheen layer of sweat covering her body, giving it an ethereal glow. Smiling softly at her, he again leaned forward as he began to lap up her juices hungrily, making her moan uncontrollably.

Her hands now rested gently on his back head as she pushed him a bit deeper, not wanting this feeling to end. Jaime, however, shoved his tongue deeper into her clit, while Annie clutched his dark-haired curls.

She moaned loudly this time, pushing his head in deeper as she closed her thighs. Her moans got louder as she experienced the best and first orgasm of her life, her mind getting lost in the euphoria.

As she breathed heavily, Jaime chuckled at her; she opened her eyes to see his stupid, handsome face in front of her.

"Why are you laughing at?" Jaime stopped, but he found her shocked expression very funny, and he couldn't help but feel proud that he could make the girl he loved feel pleasure like that.

"Nothing." He added as he started kissing her lips once again.

Annie shifted her hips forward, grinning mischievously when she felt his erection up against her. The feel of him sent a spark through her, causing her insides to tighten.

"Are you sure about this?" Jaime asked, pulling away slightly. He looked deeply into her eyes.

"I don't think I've ever felt more sure about anything before," Annie told him honestly.

Jaime nodded, his purple eyes wide. "I feel the same."

"I'm ready for this Jaime," Annie whispered, resting her forehead against his.

Pulling away, Jaime grinned as he traced the bottom of her back before he cupped her ass. "You're beautiful," he muttered before bending his head to kiss and nibble the side of her neck. "Gods, you're perfect," he said with a breathy sign.

"Jaime," she groaned, letting out a little whine. She wanted more from him.

He slid his hands down her arms, allowing his thumbs to brush against the side of her breasts.

The feel of his body on top of hers sent chills down her spine. Pressing a kiss to her neck, he pushed himself inside of her.

Annie gasped in pleasure. "Jaime," she gasped.

Jaime nibbled at her neck as he thrust his hips up roughly. She was so warm and tight... he wouldn't last long, at least not the first time.

"Oh, Jaime," she said, her eyes fluttering closed in pleasure.

He continued his swift movements, and he moved faster with each sound that escaped her lips. With one more thrust, Jaime felt the tension that had been building in his back, ready to explode; despite how much he wanted to not leave her warm inside, he quickly pulled out, his cock bursting rope after rope of cum.

Jaime collapsed against her. He remained silent as he panted against her neck. She took a deep breath and trailed her fingernails down his spinal cord. He shivered under her touch.

"That- was amazing!!" Annie said amidst heavy breathing, she had heard from girls that it could feel very good if done correctly, but she never imagined that it would feel this good. So, she was quite looking forward to when he started making love with her again.

Months Later

As Annie paced hurriedly through the dense forest, her heart raced with frustration as she made her way toward the so-called "friends" who were waiting for her. Her eyes narrowed into a heated glare as she approached the duo, who were casually lounging against a tree, seemingly unaware of Annie's mounting fury. Her gaze lingered on Reiner, leaning against the tree lazily before he finally straightened up at the sight of her.

"While you two were busy playing soldiers with your friends. I almost got caught doing my job." Annie spoke with clear irritation; since it was the last day of their free days, Reiner had suggested that Annie go to the interior and look for clues, hoping to find the identity of the real king of the walls.

Annie had thought she was discrete enough, but it seemed someone had seen right through her. She had only seen a glimpse of his face, but she could feel in her bones that the man who almost caught her was bad news. He had been able to dodge her kick, something only a few people could do.

The way he had chased after her, Annie knew the man hadn't really tried to capture her; he was more playing with her rather than chasing her.

"Someone saw right through my disguise. He is good. If I join the Military Police, and he's there. I won't be able to do much." Annie spoke grimly as she sat down on a wooden log. Exhausted, she would much rather do something else than act like a dog for Reiner and Bertholdt.

Reiner seemed to be considering her words with a thoughtful look before he looked at Bertholdt, who seemed concerned for Annie.

Reiner's voice broke the silence. "In that case, we have no other choice," he said, his voice steady and determined. "We must destroy Wall Rose to force the Founding Titan to take action." Bert and Annie stared at him in disbelief, their minds racing with the implications of what he had just said. It was a risky plan, to say the least.

"How do you know for sure that he will do something? He didn't do anything when we destroyed Wall Maria." Annie reasoned, feeling a lump forming in her throat.

"He will have to. If he doesn't, then we will destroy Wall Sina too. Eventually, we will find him. At last, our mission is near its end. After five years of living amongst devils. Soon we will return to our families." Reiner spoke with a hint of warmth in his voice.

As the blonde girl contemplated the idea of causing harm to Jaime, her heartbeat quickened, and she felt a rush of conflicting emotions surge through her body. She couldn't help but think about him, the many memories they had together since their first kiss; she could almost feel his lips against her; she knew it was silly, but she still felt good to be with him. Despite his silly jokes, she always found herself chuckling with him when they were alone.

Destroying the Wall could easily result in him dying. She could imagine him being devoured by Titans. Despite trying to shield her heart, he had managed to break her shell.

Annie's voice quivered slightly as she posed the question to her companion, "Are you sure?" She knew the answer would be difficult to hear, but she had to ask. Despite her own fears and worries, Annie was doing an excellent job of keeping her emotions in check and maintaining a stoic facade. "Many of your friends will die."

With a stern expression, Reiner slowly crouched in front of Annie, meeting her gaze with a level stare. As he locked eyes with her, he spoke in a monotone voice that betrayed the emotionless facade he was trying to maintain.

"How many times do I have to tell you, Annie?" he asked, his voice ringing out through the quiet room. "They're not my friends. But it serves us to earn their trust." Though he tried to sound convincing, Annie could see right through him - the cracks in his mask were all too obvious. Despite his best efforts to hide it, she could sense the fear and uncertainty that lay just beneath the surface, bubbling up from deep within him. She needed to figure out who he was trying to convince at this point.

"Really, because I have seen the way you look at Krista. How you try to give her private lessons just to spend time with her." Annie countered with a cold glare, not trusting his words.

"And the same doesn't go for you and Jaime?" His tone was laced with a hint of bitterness and annoyance as he scrutinized her every move. Annie felt a pang of discomfort at his words, unsure how to respond. She took a deep breath, steeling herself before meeting his glare with one of her own.

Annie's eyes narrowed as she glared at Reiner, her arms tightly crossed in front of her chest. She had grown tired of his indecisiveness and lack of straightforwardness.

"If you want to say something, Reiner," she said through gritted teeth, "then do it." Her words were like knives, sharp and cutting. She was sick of his endless dancing around the bush, of him never getting to the point. She was ready to take action, to kick his face in if he dared to utter the wrong words.

Bertholdt looked at them nervously. He knew Annie and Reiner had no friendship left, but he hadn't thought it would be to this extent. Annie threatening Reiner.

"I found it strange the way you are around Jaime, the way you train him in private, far away from everyone else, and the rumors. Perhaps you two have already-" "Reiner." Annie interrupted with the deadliest glare.

"Shut up, or these will be your last words," Annie threatened, her voice laced with venom as she held up her hand to reveal a glinting blade concealed within her ring, causing Reiner's heart to race with fear. But it was the sight of Annie's bleeding finger that made him pause.

Reiner gulped, backing away before his eyes widened, surprised with what he just said, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Y-you're right. I'm sorry, but as long as you won't let your personal feelings get in the way, then we are good."

Annie pulled away the hidden blade of her ring, healing her small cut with steam. She turned on her heels and started walking away, not wanting to be in their company any longer than necessary. She was soon followed by Reiner and Bertholdt, the latter looking at the ground, his arms shaking.

"You know," he said, his eyes darting nervously around the forest, "I keep having the same dream, the man who hanged himself." A shiver went down his spine as he recalled the image of the haunting figure that plagued his subconscious night after night.

"But last night was...different," he continued, his voice cracking at the end as he struggled to compose himself.

"What was different?" Reiner asked, his eyes flickering at Bert, who gulped loudly.

"Jaime, I don't know why, but I see him using ODM Gear in an open field with Titans and he's gripping my hand. He was furious with me, he was talking to me but I couldn't hear what he was saying, suddenly he lets go of me, and everything goes dark."

"Don't worry, Bertholdt. It was just a dream. Nothing more," Reiner reassured Bert with a comforting hand on his shoulder. Bertholdt reluctantly nodded in agreement, his mind still clouded with the vivid, haunting images of his nightmare.

Annie kept quiet; she hoped she could meet with Jaime soon. She was tired and wanted to relax for a few days.

Months Later

Shadis gazed at the fresh-faced cadets before him with a firm yet encouraging expression.

As he surveyed the group of new soldiers, he could feel their eagerness and determination to serve humanity.

With a commanding voice, he bellowed, "Dedicate your hearts!" His words hung in the air for a moment before the cadets responded in unison, their voices ringing out with conviction and patriotism.

They stood at attention, their arms snapping up in a crisp salute.

"Yes, sir!"

The sound of their unified response echoed through the training ground, filling Shadis with pride and hope for the future of humanity.

As Shadis went on with his detailed explanation of how all the trainees who successfully passed the rigorous training corps could select three preferred military branches, Jaime's mind wandered off, uninterested in the other options. He couldn't help but fixate on the only Branch that truly mattered to him, the Survey Corps.

"Number ten is Sasha Blouse." The relief that flooded through her was overwhelming, and she let out a deep sigh as the weight of her worry lifted off her shoulders. She knew she would never again have to worry about going hungry.

"Number nine is Connie Springer." The Shorty sighed in relief; he couldn't wait to see his parent's faces; he knew they would be proud of him.

"Number eight is Marco Bott." With a swift movement, Marco wiped away the beads of sweat from his forehead, and with a confident smile, he stepped forward, knowing he could serve the king.

"Number seven is Jean Kirstein." Jean couldn't help but glare at Eren, knowing the suicidal bastard had shown better skills than him, but nonetheless, he was looking forward to joining the Military Police.

"Number six is Eren Yeager." Despite not being in the top five, his green eyes gleamed with determination, knowing the time had come to fulfill his promise and kill all the Titans.

"Number five is Bertolt Hoover." his back was straight, and his eyes were fixed firmly on the horizon; he couldn't help but look up at the sky, wondering how much longer this mission would last.

"Number four is Annie Leonhart." Her face remained stoic, without bothering to look at anyone around her.

"Number Three is Reiner Braun." He glanced briefly at Krista before looking south, knowing all this would end soon, and he would return home to his family.

"Number Two is Mikasa Ackerman." The girl wasn't surprised to hear that; everyone knew who would be the best of them.

"Number One is Jaime." He took a deep breath, now that he was officially a soldier. He could start the first step. Liberating Wall Maria.

NOTE: Some have asked me if this story will follow Canon but with an OC Character who barely changes anything, and the answer is NO.

While the Breach of Trost Arc will have minor changes, The Female Titan Arc is where the first Major Change from the Canon will start.
