Levi had taken up a lot of time talking, so the trio was not aware of the distance they had covered.

All they now knew was that they had left the previous village and were now in a forest. The forest stretched out for as long as they could remember.

Jake thought he was lucky, they were passing the forest in the afternoon, they had no idea what was going on and if they would be able to take on whatever was taking people away in there.

While passing through the forest, Jake scanned the entire environment. Since he had heard that people had been going missing, he thought that probably he would see signs of scuffle or blood splatters on the floor to indicate that people had been killed but there was no such thing.

It made Jake wonder what exactly took the people who went missing. Since Jake found Freya's necklace, Levi had put a pause to his story.

They tried to avoid anything that would distract them from noticing any little detail.
