WHITE HOUSE

There was a brief silent in the room, my brothers looked pale, same as my mom but they seem to be hiding something from me.

"Mom, you haven't answered my questions yet. you made me worry. how's your health?" I finally broke the silence in the room

"Oh my baby girl, you should not have stressed your self looking for me. I'm very much fine, I went to visit your father....You have rapid growth both physically and mentally, I love that" Lucy said without realizing what she just spilled out.

"Mom, the guards said you have not stepped out of the house after I went in for my class"

" Darling, it's not what you think. actually I didn't want anyone to know where I was going to so I told them to stay behind and tell you that I didn't step out" lucy said looking at my father.

" Mom, how did you guys then entered the room because it was locked inside" I recalled how jeff disappeared earlier today and what he told me..I had this urge to ask but my whole family is here.

"Jessy, joel...why are you guys here? you should have been in school doing one thing or the other.. what brings you both here" I studied everyone in the room, their face wasn't bright at all. I then noticed that my dad was also lost in thoughts.

" Daddy, why the sudden visit? "No one really wants to talk, I became upset and started throwing things upside down but to my utmost surprise, the things that were meant to be broken didn't even touch the floor rather returned to their normalcy.

Joel suddenly touched me "Hey lilly sis, look how big you have grown and also plumpy... or should I say you are fat...." He laughed while touching my face " We came for your birthday party... ain't you happy to see us... huuhh".

" My sweet big broh... you've grown so tall like an iroko tree" I chuckled abit " I'm so happy that all of you remembered my birthday. mom, you didn't tell me that you called them".. I tickled my mom and she laughed..

" Yes, I called them over to help prepare things for your birthday" Lucy said while staring at jude.

" But mom... " Lucy interrupted...

" No But danielle... how many times do I have to tell you that you can't leave this house, never will you be able to go out. it's dangerous for you baby"

"It's okay mom, in that case I have to go back to my room" I said while holding my siblings "Please take me to my room big buddies"..

"Wait! danielle.. your birthday party won't take place here"Jude said with a firm voice.." It will be held in my house... The White House"

I was so rejuvenated, that was that best place to stay "Dad, I really wanna explore just like my siblings. I want to do great things, I want to go round the world, create a name for myself not to be a house wife someday for someone that I didn't even have feelings for. please dad...."

"Hahaha, my daughter is becoming bold these days. You know baby dani, there's no perfect person on earth, so you must do as you are told. you don't have rights to decide what you want in life." jude gave her an ugly look.

"Honey don't say that, she has all the right to decide what she wants, it's her life not yours" Lucy frowned and Jude teleported back to where he came from.

"Mom, I don't want to be the one that will bring misunderstanding for you both. please I want a happy family with dad"

" Joel, Jessy...take her back to her room, she looks weak, tell the maids to attend to her immediately"she disappeared too

" Big buddies, what's going on..can you guys please tell me"I said with a tiny voice

" Okay, it's nothing much just rest I promise to tell you once you are awake" Jessy pecked me.

"It's okay sis, we're here for you" Joel said while carrying me.

"Wow, so dad and mom can do that too... that's so magnificent. I wish I can do that too" I said to myself and we all smiled.

I went back to my room with my two lovely brothers.....I slept as long as they were there for me and when I woke up they told me everything that I need to know.

AT THE WHITE HOUSE.

The most biggest and finest house in the Liba city with over three thousand workers is the white house. Everyone wants to work for HON.JUDE LANE because he treats everyone equal and gives alot to the poor and less privileged.

Jude is currently running for the governor of the state and has alot of enemies.

He was sitting on a couch in his private living room. He wore a simple White top matching his white trouser with a pair of white sandals.

He was watching BBC world news when a young man who seems to be in his early twenties appeared in his private living room.

The young man was quite tall and charming "Papa.." He called out, Jude was surprised seeing him.

"Oh, you came... how are you and your siblings" Jude embraced him as if it's been ages they met.

"Papa, we are fine the way you left us... how can you leave us to start a new life here.. and you have another family" The young man hugged jude more..

"Hahaha.... come on my boy, you'll grow up to be like me someday. we're Ageless, It was your mom's fault, she found a new lover for her self and I have no other option than to leave.. besides we are meant to enjoy till we meet our death" Jude said with a firm voice.

" hufff....papa don't say that again, you know I can't be like you someday"He hugged his father and laughed.

"Zhion my boy, I've missed you alot. I know that you will come, it's your sisters birthday. I need you to assist me, it's going to take place here. invite your mother and your siblings" Jude really love all his siblings

The young man's name is Zhion, he's the third son of Jude and Esther. Esther is Jude's first wife but later moved on with her new lover. they had three boys.

"Ok papa, we've missed you too. we want to live with you papa, we want to experience new life here daddy" Zhion expressed himself.

" That will be after the election... "Jude was interjected by Jeffrey who appeared in the room also." Hon. Jude, it's nice to see you. I was informed that you are here so I came looking for you" Jeffrey noticed another person in the room so he turned facing zhion "Oh boy, you came... it's been long, how are you and your siblings"

" we're fine thanks. Dad, I'll take my leave now" Zhion looked at jeff with disgust.

" Alright son, see you real soon" zhion teleported himself back from where he came from.

" Jeff, there's a problem"

"I know there's always a problem" jeff said stretching his hands out.. "so, what's the new problem?".

"It's about my wife and daughter.... Her birthday is in five days time, and she's turning 16. you know what that means" Jude said looking at jeff.

"No, I don't know.. please tell me".

"Ok, You know much about dani. she's not just an ordinary witch. you know the blood that runs through her vein is not just only that of witch. Every year there's always a black moon passing by.

The black moon seldom appear, It appears whenever a powerful witch turns sixteen and that is not a good one, it either brings death or pain" jude frowned, he doesn't want anything to happen to his family be it old or new. " You know I love my family so much, starting from my first wife to the second, they're both precious to me. I can't stand to loose anyone in my family. I decided to celebrate her birthday here in my house. I don't know what will happen next and I need your help jeff" He looked at jeff who was consuming apple as if it was his life.

Jeff smiled at him as a go ahead "I know you love my daughter so much, I want you to take her out to a far away city on her birthday, let her have fun. With that, the moon won't hurt anyone in my house. make sure to invite your family and friends" He grabbed an apple and a table knife, he sliced it and started eating them.

"Old man, you know I can do anything for love, I don't want you to lose anyone either. trust me I'll take good care of her" he looked at jude

"We both are old you are aware of that man" Jude laughed "Am I not meant to be your son inlaw at your age... hahahahaha... at least am about to be sixty but you are hundred and twenty years" Jude said..."my friend don't mind me..I was only joking".

"That's why you chose to give your daughter to me because you so much believe in me jude"they both laughed out loud...

They chatted about Many other things till dawn . Jude was already sleeping.

"Old fool, do you think I'm doing this for your sake, I just want your daughter and also your properties. Who cares if you live or die, after all I'll be the one to inherit your wealth when all your son's are gone including you. I can convert your wives and daughter to be mine... haha" Jeffrey said and gave a wicked laughter before teleporting himself back to his home.
