Life 7: Demon's Dominion

Adam had finally arrived at school as he headed into the entrance with an upright stance causing the sun to reflect his facial features causing numerous girls to be wooed by his handsomeness - 'Eh everyone's looking at me like a spectacle- why are all their jaws on the ground?'

Thought Adam- he'd never really experienced such a thing in his human life- however his Li Yan side was all too familiar with such behaviour they were giving him respect.

Moving forward Adam went to the teacher's office for his new enrolment with the documents checked he was ready- as he waited for the teacher to go in and announce him into the classroom.

"Everyone to your seats- calm down and stop being so rowdy-

We have a new transfer student joining us so I'd appreciate it if you'd have the decency to shut up and welcome him."

Said the young-looking teacher that seemed to emit the very fibre of springlike beauty from her body- her face seemed to be blushing as she looked down when talking, it seems even the beautiful teacher was charmed by the transfer student- after that, she gestured to the door when he came in.

Hearing that the class became loud as gossip began to run amok-

"I hear the transfer student's a boy- apparently a handsome boy was spotted in the morning wearing our school uniform."

"But I thought it was a girl- a pretty one at that."

"And the thing is to transfer at such a time, only means one thing- he's from a wealthy family!"

After that I entered with a confident stride seeing the teachers gesture- elegance befitting a Star highlighting my figure as my mere appearance and jet black hair startled the classroom- it seemed they'd never seen a human before with the gawking they were doing.

The new student was, tall, tanned, handsome in features- with a black quiff- wearing the same uniform they felt slightly shocked that such a being could exist- charisma seemed to roll off of him like swathes.

"Hello- I'm Adam Li- I hope to get along with everyone, and I hope everyone takes care of me."

It seemed that he had already made friends and foes alike as the girls and some boys- had their expressions changed from gloominess to happiness whilst the other boys already targeted him as an enemy- 'Aargh- I hate them dastardly handsome Ikemen!'

The thing was if it was just a normal slightly handsome guy they wouldn't mind as they had a lot of those in school- yet this guy he was too much, he was an 8 compared to the 4s in the classrooms- it seems his slight grin caused them all to die a few times.

With that- the teacher guided me to an empty seat near the centre of the room- Sitting down quickly the lesson began as occasionally the boy next to me looked at me with some shock before returning his gaze.

The guy had some pomade in his hair with a lean well-defined body- but his legs were monstrous seemingly able to kill elephants with them.

And taking out books- he began his studying- they were going over some of that Science thing called Chemistry- and as if knowing it all he began jotting down the answers before making up his questions due to how easy they were for him and to lose some boredom.

And immediately after the beautiful teacher left the classroom soon- the entire population of girls headed towards him as their perfume and such began to fill the air.

And with such frequency that caused his ears to hurt, they began spitting out barrage after barrage of questions with the most common being-

"Do you have a girlfriend?"

"Do you have a boyfriend?"

"What do you do for hobbies?"

Multiply all of the questions by 14 and so Adam got a little annoyed- until finally he just answered the questions:

"No, No and No."

After that he headed to the cafeteria for lunch as his lessons had already finished- And even at lunch he was stared at like an attraction and so he ate ignoring all of the noise around him- that is until some pests dared enter his domain.

"Hey I hear your names Adam- I was just wondering if you wanted to talk after lunch?"

With a seemingly scary face that seemed to indicate hoodlum, the boy and his pack of friends left while the cafeteria went silent.

'Hmm I wonder what those guys want- no matter I'll see what they want.'

Thought Adam as he continued munching on his cafeteria food and when he'd finished that he picked up his rubbish chucked it into the bin before poking a hole in his apple carton juice and began drinking from it.

Whilst walking to the guys that called him earlier.

It seemed they were waiting in a secluded area where bullying went down and as I headed out there- the guys smiled at me amicably though it was weird as their faces were created to be fierce it seemed.

"Where you from man- here have one."

Said the guy as he handed an energy drink to Adam.

"Thanks?"

'From my predecessor's memories it seems he was quite often treated as a shuttle in environments like these- but this is something different, just what could these delinquent looking dudes mean?'

Hearing the confusion in his voice the fierce delinquent looking dude- calmed his thoughts down.

"Calm down- don't worry we're not evil school kids that wanna be gangsters- though our faces say otherwise we are not overgrown mafia members- We only invited you out cause we saw you had the Phoenix Quest badge on your backpack."

'Phoenix Quest?' but with a quick read of Adam's memories immediately he knew what it was- a popular anime, that gained numerous light novel adaptions, games and movies- a cultural phenomenon if you will.

"Yes, I understand now..."

Hearing that the trio's eyes widened up as they heard me- it was like they'd not seen a brother in a decade and found him once again.

"Adam- Join the Phoenix Club at school please."

With that, the trio bowed their heads down- with my face shocked to see their actions being the complete opposite of what I thought they were going to do.

Another day another lesson at school, Adam remained to look absently throughout the window in the lesson and the teacher also backed off from him after realising that he was just good at everything-

It sounded arrogant but it wasn't it was his trait he was rebirthed with from his previous life- he was able to master and utilise any skill and techniques-

Easy and so mortal studies were just a drop in the boundless ocean to him.

But he knew that it would take him a while before he could return to his immortal realm and that meant he had time he could well take as much as time as he wanted without any problems.

And that was what he wanted a nice life with slow cultivation- or so he had thought until he realised he severely missed being much stronger and faster than everyone.

And what Adam had found in his new life was that whenever he began to harness his body and awaken all of his meridians- his body simply was a black hole and so it took all of his food and Zhen Qi that he was trying to cultivate.

This meant that to progress faster he'd need to use external items to bring up his rank-

And so the reason he was studying was that his Uncle Alvin had urged him to become a valuable member of society and to stop being such a pushover if you will- and due to this Adam said to his uncle.

"This accident has given me a lot of time to begin living and fix my life- I know that what I am doing now is just living for the sake of it-

I will start to enjoy my life and really live life to the fullest Uncle- and also Uncle be careful with Abel Li- let's just say that he's a brother and nephew killer-"

Saying this Adam leaned in and patted his Uncle's shoulder before leaving-

As Alvin said- "It makes sense all this time he Killed your father Cain and even tried to kill you for the ownership of the Li Conglomerate-"

And as Adam's grandpa looked on in silence- he knew that his oldest son was murdered by his son- it was biblical almost-

So ironic that he wanted to slap himself but stopped as all he could sigh-

And so within the class, Adam began to silently cultivate as the sakura trees outside the window emanated a strong aura of security this feeling washed over Adam as he gently uttered words within his mind-

[The Demon's Dominion: This was what Adam had cultivated evolved and grew with a method unique to only him that was cultivated to the max by him and this was a method in which the body and the mind was strengthened and also invoked a sense of loyalty and fear onto others-]

Hence the name Dominion and thus he as Li Yan rose to great heights as the Dagger Sects Li Yan- he was a leader through and through and it burned bright into his bones as they began to be sculpted on- as he thought of the script-

'With feathers flurrying through the skies and the demons through the earthy ground with the mortals in between both as a lynchpin- the Universe operates-

So if the ones with morality are superior to those without and the ones with arrogance above others- the universe swings like a pendulum constantly going through the three phases- darkness, light and neutrality-

This is my domain- this is my dominion with both the skies and the earth in my palms I move forward with unrivalled might - this is the Demon's Dominion.'

Chanting within his mind his bones slowly began to grow stronger and bigger as scriptures began to implant themselves within his bones as two words stood out- 'Demon's Dominion.'

And as it was going on the skies shined even brighter as the sun came out as endless rays penetrated through the windows with none the wiser as the sun's aura and the stars distant aura began to be slowly absorbed by Adam as his body began to craft his body and his latent potential was forcefully extracted.

And as this process finished he opened his eyes as a purple light burned bright within.

And as this process of cultivation finished Adam lightly smirked as for the first time in his life he felt that the sun was rather cute and beautiful at the same time as it radiated its magnificent aura.

Seeing the beautiful scenery he couldn't but take in a breath of the fresh air-

He had just gone through the first rank of the technique which included heightened abilities and a stronger tempered body- and so his body felt this urge to punch with this new power he possessed-

And without thinking so his fingers slightly moved and then a sudden breeze went through the room and it was quite warm as the weather was a little too warm thus the students and teacher felt euphoric with this nice breeze.
