"No. Let's leave. Quickly. Run." Hanna, almost screamed as she started running out as the other two stayed in place before training quickly kicked in and they bolted towards the door.

As soon as they were out, Hanna went to grab the radio from Jenny's shoulder. She pulled out the radio while running and fumbled about a bit to try to make it work.

"Goddamn it, why the fuck do they make these so fractious." She screamed in agony. The other two were still unaware of the danger behind them but they trusted Hanna and picked up the pace even further.

Half a minute later, Hanna was finally able to get the radio working and connected to the base. Without the usual formalities, she spoke into the radio.

"This is Party C. Delta Base. Do not go near the holes. I repeat do not go near the holes. There is some theriomorphic creature dwelling nearby. We are running away from it. Send back up asap."

"Oh. You have pretty good eyesight. But, you come to our place, and do you expect us to not even have something to counter those toys." A mellifluous voice sounded from behind them as well as from the radio. Slight mocking laughter followed the sentence. The trio did not stop running to look back as they picked up the pace even further as they started throwing their bags away.

"Hmm. Not bad. Smart. But not enough. Let's have fun, shall we? I haven't eaten in some time, especially since that idiot bombed the place down. Now, don't worry I will properly bury you." The sweet-sounding voice sounded in their ears at the same volume, as if they were all standing still and not running.

In front of them, another building appeared with some rubble covering its entrance and they delved right into it. Instinctively, they knew that the voice had stopped as soon as they entered the building but the sense of danger did not decrease, instead, it increased by a lot.
